- Day 93 -
The Sword of the Spirit
YAHveh you are my exceedingly great reward (see Genesis 15:1). Nothing compares to You. There is no one like You—my affections are riveted to You. HalleluYAH! I give the Son a kiss from my heart. My heart belongs to You, YAHshua (Jesus). Use it, do what You will with it. May it be overflowing with Your love, which will dictate my words and how they come forth. Thank You that my heart is being filled with You, who is love. You want to make me adept at swinging the sword of the Spirit and speaking Your words that will set the captives free. Your words will open blind eyes, deaf ears, and raise up the spiritually dead. You are going to teach me agility in the Spirit to wield the sword of the Spirit, and people will back off or be drawn upward. They will not be able to stand against the power of Your Spirit who is wielding the sword; I will be actively engaged, but Your Spirit will be the one doing it. HalleluYAH!
YAHveh, there are many enemies of Your people, but You are the victor over them all. As for Your enemies who do not want You to rule over them (Luke 19:17), You will deal directly with them until they get on their knees and acknowledge that You are the Sovereign Ruler over every aspect of their lives. They must release control of everything, acknowledging that You are the One in control of their circumstances. They have no right to wield the power that has not been given to them from above or from below. YAHveh Your mercy is turning into judgment. May it truly bring multitudes into Your kingdom through humility, repentance, and the transforming glory of the blood of the Lamb.
YAHveh (LORD), You said You are not going to strive with us forever (Genesis 6:3). You are going to strive for a period of time giving great measures of wisdom and insight. Those who receive it are going to be lifted up high above the heads of the enemies of this earthly realm and those who reject it are going to be harmed and mangled by the spirits of this earthly realm.
Thank You, Father, that I am not going to be led by people-pleasing spirits, as subtle as they can be, to tell people what they want to hear or makes peace. Being a peacemaker is one who reconciles people to be at peace with You through the blood of the Lamb. Father, I thank You, that I have the brevity of time left on my side; that is a motivating force and fact that will help me wield the sword and hit the mark against Your enemies.
