“When [YAHshua] Ascended on High… He Gave Gifts to Men” Ephesians 4:8

line 2 copy.png

“When [YAHshua] ascended on high… he gave gifts to men” (Ephesians 4:8). He invested in each one of us multiple gifts, talents, and resources, brought forth by the same Spirit. Each part of body is as important as the other, supplying what is lacking for the fullness of YAHshua’s born again, supernaturally created, spirit filled body to be made manifest on this earth.

YAHshua said, "sacrifice and offering you have not desired, but a body you have prepared for me” (Hebrews 10:5).  Before the foundations of the earth YAHveh prepared a people to be born, saved through faith and to live as supernatural creations. This remnant of obedient, humble, blood washed, faithful servants of our King are the true body that has been redeemed over which YAHshua is the head.  Each ligament is taking their messages via the headship of YAHshua—bringing us all into unity, and one accord with the head and His expressed will through His word.

The indwelling Holy Spirit is so jealous for our redeemed born again spirits.  He directs and teaches us to grow up into bearing the identity of our Savior and the attesting fruits of His Spirit magnified in and through our lives, words and deeds to the glory of His Father. At this critical juncture at the conclusion of this age before our King’s return, the Spirit is advising us much as a wise stock broker saying, “Do not store up for yourself treasures on this shaking earth that is about to be demolished and crash, it is absolutely not a good investment, you are going to loose it all.  Prayerfully assess your gifts, gather them and put them in the sound stocks of righteousness in the heavenly kingdom where moth and rust cannot destroy, and where thieves cannot break in and steal (Matthew 6:19) where utter catastrophes and the coming judgments will not destroy them.  He is advising us to get our gifts into that which is eternal where our dividends will multiple and parlay into all eternity.”

By the power of His Spirit, “I pray for the stirring up of our lives and the gifts within.” May these gifts in each and every one of us, gifts that have been used or not used, but have been deposited in us for “such a time as this,” May we receive a fresh infilling and empowering by His Spirit to use our lives and the gifts therein for the advancement of His kingdom, His holy and noble purposes, and for His praise, honor, and glory.

Our Savior is beseeching us to bring our life and our gifts to Him and say, “They are for You, YAHveh. Let them be used and invested into Your kingdom by the power of Your Spirit leading and guiding me.”  Our Father is not looking at how much we have He is looking at what we have and what we are doing with it for His namesake and glory versus our glory and the world’s glory. What will you do in these last days and hours to redeem the time and to take all that is invested in you and to use it all for His all?

Where are you going to sow? By what are you going to sow? His Spirit will look at all these gifts and again say, “I know what to do with them. I know how to invest them. Let Me lead you by My power to invest them wisely by the guidance of My Father.” Faith takes your gifts and uses them for the righteousness of YAHveh so that He may be known through your righteous acts, deeds and words.  Religious works that are led by the flesh and not by the Spirit of the Righteous One they are completely opposite.

YAHveh has great displeasure over the wickedness of those who refuse to take what has been entrusted to their stewardship for the investment in His glorious kingdom. Hear with ears to hear what the Spirit is saying in these last days. “Don’t horde or bury, don’t in anyway keep what He has given you for yourself, for it will stand in condemnation and testify against you on the day He returns” (see James 5:3).

YAHveh is going to use a remnant. He is going to use their gifts, if they are willing and obedient. If you are faithful with a little, He will give you more. If your gift is lying dormant because you refuse to use it for His glory, He says what you have He will take away from you and give it to the one who has because they are faithful, wise stewards (see Matthew 25:28-29). This is YAHveh’s way, not ours, which is so much higher than our carnal, fleshy mindsets of selfish ambitions and earthly inclinations.

Father in heaven, I lift up my life and all the gifts You have given me.  The all in all must be You YAHshua in me.  Take all the gifts You have birthed in me and fill them with Your Spirit that I be faithful to use everything for Your praise, honor, glory and kingdom.  Anything that I have horded for myself or buried in the earthly realm please reveal it to me so I can wholeheartedly unearth it and invest it with Your wisdom into Your kingdom. Please help me to not be found hoarding that which belongs to You. Forgive me for robbing You of the dividends of praise, honor, glory, and the souls of men that my life and its gifts were meant to touch and help bring into Your kingdom.  Please pour out Your Spirit afresh upon me and give me Your heart and power to spend my life and gifts wisely redeeming the time that is left.  Open my eyes so that I see and hear what Your specific instructions and directions are.  May I not be found lacking in fulfilling Your perfect will and good pleasure, in the name of YAHshua.  My King, with everything in me, I long to hear You say, “Well done My good and faithful servant come and share in your Father’s eternal joy.” (see Matthew 25:21)

“This is the Victory that has Overcome the World—Our Faith”  1 John 5:4

Friends, I, along with many of you, are experiencing diverse trials and testings. You may feel as if you are in a wilderness, lonely and isolated. You may be experiencing extremely stressful circumstances accompanied with much fear, hopelessness, and anxiety. Yet, let us take to heart the words of the great apostle Peter, “In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of YAHshua Messiah” (1 Peter 1:6-7).

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing…” (1 Peter 4:12). “He knows the way I take; When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10). YAHveh is “the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2 kjv) and it is through many hardships (and trials) that we enter the kingdom of heaven (see Acts 14:22).

Great perseverance will be required for those who are going to endure in these last days. Apostle Paul says, “For you have need of endurance [perseverance — you need to hold onto your confidence] so that when you have done the will of YAHveh (God), you may receive what was promised” (Hebrews 10:36). YAHveh’s words through the prophet Jeremiah are to be taken to heart, "If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?” (Jeremiah 12:5) In simple terms if you can’t keep up with the footmen in a time of peace how are you going to keep up with the horsemen in a time of war as it is prophesied and unfolding as a reality across this globe?

Apostle Paul stated, “…physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come” (1 Timothy 4:8). YAHveh wants us to be focused and exercising the fruits of the spirit of self control and self discipline regarding our spiritual diets and exercises that build up patient endurance under sufferings, trials and tribulations this will lead us to being spiritually ready for His return.

If we cannot start our spiritual diet and exercise program now, it is foolishness to think that we are going to be able to keep up with the horseman as the shofar is sounding the alert from heaven, “Make way make way, the judgments are at the door!”  We are going to need to have the vigor in the spirit and the endurance to keep up with the horseman because peace is being slowly but surely removed from the earth.  YAHshua said, "We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work” (John 9:4).  Apostle Paul said, “make the most of every opportunity” (Colossians 4:5), and “do not be foolish, but understand (be wise) what the Lord's will is” (Ephesians 5:17).

How are you going to hold up? How are you going to persevere? How are you going to endure to the end of your appointed days on earth? Our beloved Savior plainly said, "But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved” (Matthew 24:13). I will give [him-her] the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).  They will receive the crown of righteousness, the just reward for not growing weary of well doing.  “This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith” (1 John 5:4) for without it we cannot stand and patiently endure and thus please YAHveh much less endure victoriously endure to the end.

The daylight is waning by which man can work and there will be no time to turn back for the day of YAHveh is approaching. Only the enemy of our souls tries to influence us to think that we can stay preoccupied with our daily lives and business as usual and wait until the last moments to have a faith to support us with perseverance and an overcoming spirit that can endure the great trials and judgments that are coming.  This is foolishness and impossible without continually exercising and building up faith as the greatest muscle in our whole being because it will be the one thing YAHshua will be looking for when He returns. “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8). Faith is the greatest spiritual muscle we have.  It is the backbone of YAHshua’s true body.  From the Head down—the core, spine, ligaments are all connected to the muscles, sinews and strength that comes from faith.

We need to turn our attentions to better and more rigorous training, or else we will not have the strength and endurance to be more than conquerors —we will be less than conquerors.  Our flesh will conquer us, with its fears and the lack of stored up provisions to be as the five wise virgins having enough oil, strength and faith to be pleasing when our Bridegroom comes.

Apostle Paul says, “Be imitators of me, just as I also am [an imitator] of Messiah” (1 Corinthians 11:1). The great apostle was saying, “Use me as your example. Look at the price I have had to pay, look at the perseverance and endurance I have had to exert in faith, look at the trials, testing, sufferings, rejections, and the near-death experiences I have had—and “I have fought the good fight… I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7) and not shrunk back.”

YAHshua is the One who is going to teach us how to build up spiritual muscles of faith in order to bear burdens, trials, and sufferings. He said, "We must go through many hardships [tribulations] to enter the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22 niv). These trials are tools, in YAHveh’s loving hands, for the perfecting and strengthening of our faith. He says that “without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Hebrews 11:6).

It has been prophetically proclaimed in the Old and New Testaments—"Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens" (Hebrews 12:26). We should take heed and get in a fitness program as never before to build up our faith. “If [we] do not stand firm in [our] faith, [we] will not stand at all” (Isaiah 7:9). We are to endure dying to our flesh and the trials and tribulations that are part of our walk in order that we will stand firm on the Rock as everything else is shaking. Then we will be beacon lights of faith, spiritual fortitude and strength to those who will be overwhelmed loosing their balance, being in utter dismay, confusion and terror.

We are to wholeheartedly pursue continually seeking YAHveh’s will and good pleasure and the exercises of building up our faith through obedience to His word. We are to take our hope out of this world by transferring our investments and desires into the coming glorious kingdom This is not only wisdom but it a requirement lest in the great shaking we become as others who are swallowed up in fear and compromise through friendship with this world getting spiritually flabby and fat with selfish ambition.  In that case the worst scenario can be expected, YAHshua will grievously say to us, “’I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!'  (Luke 13:27) you do not do the will of my Father in heaven.”

By the mercies of YAHveh I beseech you beloved to get spiritually fit so that you will be able to complete the race and the good fight of faith which is a requirement to endure victoriously to the end and become more than conquerors through YAHshua Messiah in us— the hope of glory.

“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me to render to every man according to what he has done” (Revelation 22:12) whether good (by His Spirit) or evil by the flesh.

“Let Us not Grow Weary in Well Doing” Galatians 6:9 niv

“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses (those who have gone before us and those who endured victoriously to the end) surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on YAHshua, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of YAHveh (God). For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Hebrews 12:1-3)

“Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.  So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith” (Galatians 6:9-10). As Apostle Paul taught us, “I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Messiah YAHshua my Master (Lord), for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Messiah, … that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead…I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Messiah…I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward [heavenly] call of YAHveh (God) in Messiah YAHshua.” (Philippians 3:7-8, 10-12,14)

As YAHshua, for the joy set before Him endured the crucifixion stake, let us endure the process of our flesh being crucified to the world because of the joy set before us knowing, “…no eye has seen… no ear has heard and … no human mind has conceived”—the things God has prepared for those who love him—” (1 Corinthians 2:9 niv). Let all of our hopes be transferred from this dying world as we know it and be invested in His righteous kingdom that has been prepared for those who have loved and followed Him by daily dying to their flesh to live obediently by the grace and power of His Spirit in faith. May we set our hearts desires and longings on the blessed appearance of our King and Savior!

This quote of Charles Spurgen was taken from Morning and Evening

“…Apostle Paul not only believed in Christ’s death, and trusted in it, but he actually felt its power in himself in causing the crucifixion of his old corrupt nature.  When he saw the pleasures of sin, he said, “I cannot enjoy these:  I am dead to them.”  Such is the experience of every true Christian.  Having received Christ, he is to this world as one who is utterly dead.  Yet, while conscious of death to the world, he can, at the same time, exclaim with the apostle, “Nevertheless I live.”  He is fully alive unto God.  The Christian’s life is a matchless riddle.  No worldling can comprehend it; even the believer himself cannot understand it.  Dead, yet alive! Crucified with Christ, and yet at the same time risen with Christ in newness of life!  Union with the suffering, bleeding Savior, and death to the world and sin, are soul-cheering things.  O for more enjoyment of them!

YAHshua please help me to run this race with endurance. Help me to wholeheartedly die to the desires of my flesh, the desires for the things of this world and to truly be crucified with You. I want to know You in Your sufferings and crucifixion that I might know You in Your resurrection power and live in Your unfathomably glorious kingdom. Thank You that the things of this world are becoming less appealing because my eyes are fixed more on You, the author and finisher of my faith.  Please continually magnify and convict me of that which is a detriment to my running and fighting the good fight of faith and be found pleasing in Your sight. I acknowledge that I can do nothing apart from You, please help me to be found dead to my flesh and this world and to be alive in the Spirit to You. Thank you for Your grace, mercy and Your love that will never fail me.
