The Feast of Trumpets | Yom Teruah
- Hear YAHveh Sounding the Trumpet to Repent -
YAHveh is crying out in this work and through many others warning of the judgments to come. This is the summation of the Feast of Trumpets—“the blowing of trumpets”, "Cry loudly, do not hold back; Raise your voice like a trumpet (shofar), And declare to My people their transgression” (Isaiah 58:1). “… Because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of YAHveh, who will render to each person according to his deeds: to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation. There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with YAHveh” (Romans 2:6-11).
“For the Lord [YAHshua] Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Messiah will rise first” (1Thessalonians 4:16). "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone” (Matthew 24:36). For this reason you also must be ready; waiting like the five wise virgins (Matthew 25)—the fear of YAHveh gives wisdom leading to obedience to His Commandments and His merciful amplification of His Commandments through His Son our Savior. “For the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will” (Matthew 24:44, Luke 12:40). It is YAHveh’s mercy to warn through His chosen inspired mouthpieces on earth, “Repent, repent, flee the judgments that are coming! Be cleansed in the Lamb’s blood! Obey YAHveh’s Commandments! Make ready for the coming King of Kings and His Eternal Kingdom in the New Jerusalem!
A Time of Repentance
"Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, YAHveh is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead." (Acts 17:30-31) “I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable… solemnly testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and faith in our Master YAHshua Messiah.” (Acts 20:20-21) “Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?" (Romans 2:4) “So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.” (Revelation 3:3)
YAHshua said, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matthew 4:17). What are they repenting for? Sin is breaking YAHveh’s Commandments—“Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness” (1John 3:4). “I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.” (2Corinthians 7:9-10)
Ignorance is no longer going to stand as a self-justifiable excuse because YAHshua is bringing to the light that which has been hidden in the darkness. For those who want truth at any cost, they will rid their lives and spiritual walk of the deceptions that were planted by the enemy—the father of lies and not by the Author of eternal truth. We are to have tender and humble hearts that weep and grieve before YAHveh concerning the book of the law that has been revealed and magnified—knowing great is the wrath of YAHveh, which will be poured out on us. (see 2Chronicles 34:21,27) This is a beacon light, a trumpet call, and a shofar sounding for repentance.

- Redefining the Feasts of Israel Through the Ten Commandments -
Want to learn even more about the Biblical Feasts of Israel? Check out Terrye G. Seedman's book "Redefining the Feasts of Israel Through the Ten Commandments." The Holy Days pivot around the Ten Commandments, these were appointed times to meet with Him that would help them to walk by His spirit’s leading in these Commandments. Indeed, there would be no feasts if it was not for the Ten Commandments and the penalty of sin for not upholding them and there would be no need of Messiah. The Ten Commandments point us to Him and YAHshua the schoolmaster points us to the truth so we can walk in a way worthy of everything that He has taught us to be. “Not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:6) This book unlocks truths from Yahveh's divine Ten Commandments to redefine the true meaning and fulfillment of the holy Feasts of Israel. Simply, the divinely appointed times, the feast days, pivot around the blood on the altar of sacrifice—on the mercy seat, for the forgiveness of sin and sin points us back to the Commandments. Therefore every feast is exalting the Commandments of YAHveh, exalting our Lamb who came and died because we can’t uphold the Commandments without His help. They are inextricably linked. You can’t separate the feasts from the Commandments and you cannot separate the Lamb of God who is the ultimate fulfillment of the holy temple, priesthood, and the sacrificial system’s substitutionary sacrifice for our sin nature. Learn all of this and more in this powerful book about Yahveh's divine commandments and holy feasts.
