Overview

YAHveh’s instructions have not changed. May He grant you eyes to see, ears to hear, and a tender heart on which to write these vital truths.

First-century Jewish believers were confronted with a perplexing issue concerning the Gentiles: “Was salvation solely for the Jews or was it to include the alien Gentiles?” The apostle Paul was the divinely appointed ambassador to the Gentiles. His mission was to bring them the awesome salvation of YAHshua, the Hebrew Messiah, and to instruct them regarding vital issues pertaining specifically to them as Gentiles within the messianic body. Ephesians 2 and 3 are foundational support beams for YAHveh’s holy temple. Paul’s powerful words, written almost two thousand years ago, apply to all Gentiles who throughout the centuries have embraced the Messiah of Israel.

Therefore remember, that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Uncircumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision,” … remember that you were at that time separate from Messiah, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without YAHveh in the world. But now in Messiah YAHshua you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah. (Ephesians 2:11-13)

For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one, and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall [of hostility] … that in Himself [by dying on the stake] He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to YAHveh through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you [Gentiles] who were far away, and peace to those [Israelites] who were near …” (Ephesians 2:14-17)

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the [Jewish] saints, and are of YAHveh’s household [Israel], having been built upon the foundation of the [Jewish] apostles and prophets, Messiah YAHshua Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together is growing into a holy temple in YAHveh; in whom you also [Jews and Gentiles] are being built together into a dwelling of YAHveh in the Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:19-22)

    The highest and purest praise should continually resound from the lips of all humble and grateful redeemed Gentiles as they remember their origins. Once they were hopeless aliens, having no place with the God of Israel, His people, and His promises. Paul was aware of human nature, which can cause us to forget, as pride and self-righteousness grow back as a foreskin over the heart. With this concern for Gentile believers, Paul continues his admonition by sharing with them the mystery of Messiah: “…which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men … to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs [together with Israel] and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers [with Israel] of the promise in Messiah YAHshua through the gospel …” (Ephesians 3:5-6)

That Gentiles would turn to the God of Israel and be saved was prophesied in the Old Testament; And now says YAHveh, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant [the Messiah], To bring Jacob back to Him, in order that Israel might be gathered to Him … He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations [Gentiles] So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” (Isaiah 49:5-6).

Throughout history, Satan, the ancient Serpent (Revelation 12:9 NIV), has strategized relentlessly to thwart the Almighty’s glorious eternal plan. The apostle Paul reminds us that we must not be “ignorant of his schemes” (2Corinthians 2:11). We must beware of “replacement theology,” which Satan has insidiously injected into the bloodstream of Christianity over many centuries. Those who embrace “replacement theology” erroneously believe that Israel’s promises now belong solely to the “church,” which they believe has replaced Israel in the Almighty’s heart and plan. Doctrines contrary to YAHveh’s eternal purpose for Israel are destined to be destroyed.

Anti-Semitism is an ancient hostility toward the Jewish people and their God, YAHveh. In order to understand the essence of the hatred of and persistent warfare against Israel, this book will give a brief history of anti-Semitism. The battle between YAHveh’s people and Satan has raged since the Garden of Eden; it has left a bloody trail throughout biblical and world history.  The Serpent will continue to spew his anti-Semitic venom until the Messiah crushes him and all of Israel’s enemies under His holy, vengeful feet.
