The 6th Commandment

- You Shall Not Murder -

"Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man” (Genesis 9:6). “If a man takes the life of any human being, he shall surely be put to death” (Leviticus 24:17). YAHshua says, “You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘You shall not commit murder’ and “Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court…” (Matthew 5:21-22). “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him” (1 John 3:15). So, anyone who has harbored anger in his or her hearts against someone is guilty of committing murder. “Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity” (Ephesians 4:26-27). This is so important because the enemy will capitalize.  YAHshua (Jesus) is love so “in your anger do not sin.” He give us the hours of the day— so don’t let the sun go down on your anger. You have got to deal with it and work it out. 

The enemy will come and bring all kinds of spiritual maladies and issues such as bitterness, resentment and it will open you up for the enemy to have a legal right into your life and cause havoc and curses to come upon you. Work it out with YAHshua and repent for those feelings and forgive because YAHshua (Jesus) forgave you. Get this sin under the blood so you can love and not allow the enemy to have an inroad for his dark, hateful, murderous thoughts and feelings. “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry because human anger does not produce the righteousness that YAHveh (the LORD) desires” (James 1:19-20). If we cannot forgive because of anger holding us back Yahshua (Jesus) can’t forgive us. This is why “no murderer enters the kingdom”, they didn’t forgive and Yahshua (Jesus) could not forgive them and they were disqualified from coming into the kingdom (1 Corinthians 6:10, Matthew 18:21-35)."But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers … their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death" (Revelation 21:8). We must learn to love as YAHshua himself loved - otherwise, sin is lurking around the corner. 

Sin is crouching at Your Door - A Teaching about Cain and Abel

As Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden an angel blocked the door for sin to not enter into the Presence. What a mournful day for our beloved Father but He had the remedy to redeem a generation that was now under curses because they were cast out from the Author and Giver of life and blessings. Adam and Eve originally were to have perpetuated a creation that would live eternally in His holy Presence where there was no sin. As they left, He proclaimed to the Enemy, who had caused sin and temptation to enter, that he would be given a death blow from the lineage that would come forth from a sin ridden couple. “And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel" (Genesis 3:15).

As Adam and Eve were cast out into the world that seed of rebellion was past to their children, but with it remained the blessing of a free will. Their son Cain used his freewill in the direction of anger and rebellion against Yahveh. Abel used his free will in obedience because He loved Yahveh. Two sides of free will are: love and obey or serve self and all its evil inclinations and rebel against Yahveh your Creator.

Yahveh warned Cain as He saw the inclinations of his heart. Yahveh knew that murder was in Cain’s heart and that “Satan was a murderer from the beginning” and anger is one of his big inroads that he capitalizes on (John 8:44). Our God has seen the inclination of each ones heart to this day. Only He knows how wicked every inclination of our hearts are. But He warned Cain lovingly, “Cain, “sin is crouching at your door” (Genesis 4:7). “Satan is there to tempt your free will once again as your parents were tempted and they failed the test, don’t fail Cain, it is crouching at the door. I am giving you warning, I am telling you he is there. Don’t believe or give in to what the enemy of your soul is tempting your free will to choose. Choose life Cain. Choose My blessings Cain. Use the free will I gave you to remember and love Me and don’t commit rebellion against My word as your parents did. It is crouching at the door to devour you but you can overcome it Cain” (Author’s paraphrase).

Cain turned his back on Yahveh and he did what pleased him and what seemed right to him. “There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12) and it did lead to the death of his brother Abel, whom he was angry and jealous of because Abel was righteous — he did what was right. So not only does our anger and rebellion breed hatred toward Yahveh it breeds hatred toward man. The two commandments that Yahshua (Jesus) our Savior said are the fulfillment of all, “‘You shall love Yahveh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40). We have to master anger and our flesh because sin is crouching, like a demon from hell, at the doors of our lives. Be careful. Give careful thought to your ways, give careful thought to what you do, make sure it is Yahveh leading you. Make sure your choices line up with His Word. Make sure your actions please Him. Don’t lean on your own understanding, it could be a set up from the enemy crouching at your door, wanting to master you when you need to master him.

“For rebellion (against Yahveh) is as the sin of divination (witchcraft)” (1 Samuel 15:23), meaning you are opening the door to demonic spirits letting them into your life. Catering to your flesh and anger allows Satan, who is crouching at the door of your heart to have access. He wants you to rebel so he has a legal right to rob, kill and destroy you and ravage your life and the lives of your loved ones. These consequences are not necessarily seen immediately but the Scripture says, “be sure your sin will find you out” and eventually that sin nature is going to reap a horrible harvest of evil consequences and the robbery of our eternal blessings. (Numbers 32:23 NASB). You will become Satan’s victim and find yourself eternally separated from Yahveh in an unending torturous hell unless you repent. Choose carefully—there are consequences. May Yahveh give you a mastery over sin with discernment of what is crouching at the door of your heart, mind, and your life.

Understanding the Cain Spirit and the End-Time Polarization

Have you counted the cost of truly reflecting the Messiah? A silent, terrifying division is ripping through the modern church, separating those who casually occupy pews from those who are fully sold out to the uncompromised Word of Yahveh. Right now, Satan is furiously working through an anti-messiah spirit to enlist masses of people—including millions of professing Christians—to become fiercely intolerant of the holy remnant. This is not a random cultural shift; it is a calculated spiritual war. Because Satan sees through spiritual eyes, he instantly recognizes his arch-enemy, the Messiah, in every single one of Yahshua’s true children. If you carry the indwelling Holy Spirit and actively bear His holy identity, you have a target on your back. You must not consider it strange when the world, or even the religious establishment, projects a hateful murderous intolerance toward you. Yahshua explicitly forewarned us: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first… a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God” (John 15:18, 16:2). This ancient, murderous rage is none other than the Cain spirit, and it is rising once again to target the righteous, whose blood already cries out from beneath the holy altar alongside innocent Abel (Revelation 6:9-10). The tragedy of the Cain spirit is that its primary breeding ground is within compromised, lukewarm Christianity. True spiritual death does not come from an external thing, but from an internal heart attitude of hidden disobedience, self-will, and a refusal to be convicted of sin. When Abel brought his sacrifice, his heart was purely motivated by faith and gratitude, earning him the testimony of righteousness. Cain, however, brought a reluctant, self-willed offering because something was deeply amiss in his soul. As stated above, Yahveh lovingly warned him: “Sin is crouching at your door, Cain; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it” (Genesis 4:7). The ancient root for the word "crouching" describes a predatory, Babylonian demon waiting at a threshold to pounce on the inhabitants inside. By ignoring this divine caution and catering to his flesh, Cain allowed his self-will to harden into outright defiance and rebellion, which scripture equates directly to the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23). This gave Satan a legal right to occupy his heart. As 1 John 3:12 reveals, Cain murdered his brother precisely because his own deeds were evil while his brother’s were righteous. This establishes an unchangeable spiritual law: a superficial, compromised believer will always naturally despise, envy, and eventually persecute the true, born-again remnant whose pure lifestyle exposes their hypocrisy.

This hostile envy has birthed a massive, dynamic spiritual polarization where the dividing lines are now vividly drawn by the Most High God. On one side stands Yahshua with His holy remnant, His born again children who refuse to have anything to do with the unholy deeds of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). On the other side stands Satan and a mutated harvest field of deceived, superficial Christians who have embraced a global religious mindset of generic love and unity for all faiths. Because these lukewarm believers refuse to accept the love of the truth, Yahveh has sent upon them a powerful deluding influence to believe what is false (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11). Driven by this "doctrine of demons," they view the true saints as heretics. They substitute a counterfeit, self-pleasing gospel that promises a blessed life down here instead of denying themselves and embracing their crucifixion stake to follow Yahshua. This is the fatal trap of Esau, who traded his glorious, eternal birthright just to satisfy what his stomach craved in a single moment. When we seek to gratify our carnal desires and cultivate a friendship with this world, scripture declares we commit spiritual adultery and make ourselves a literal enemy of God (James 4:4).

If we do not want to be counted among the ranks of Cain who re-crucify the Savior and put Him to open shame, we must wake up and radically evaluate what our hearts crave. Yahshua, the Second Adam, endured an agonizing death with a crown of thorns and nails to break our captivity to inherited sin, and He commands His bride to walk just as He walked. We must follow the example of the first apostles, who didn’t look for an easy escape, but actually rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name (Acts 5:41). Scripture explicitly reveals that it has been granted to us as a holy gift not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake (Philippians 1:29). The ultimate fruit you bear—whether it is of the unholy flesh or the Holy Spirit—determines exactly which side of the battle lines you stand on. Yahshua is loudly crying out to His people: “Come out of her, my people! Come out of compromised, lukewarm Christianity!” (Revelation 18:4). Turn away from the "poison lies" of this world, shut your eye and ear gates to the enemy's deceptive question marks, and prepare to stand completely alone if necessary. Only those who reject the counterfeit, count the cost, master the crouching enemy through the blood of the Lamb, and endure faithfully to the end will share in His miraculous resurrection power and rule with Him in His glorious Millennial Kingdom.
