- This year The Day of Atonement begins in the evening of Friday October 11th and ends the evening of Saturday October 12th -

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob “gave the incomparable gift of His only begotten Son”, first to His Jewish people, then to the whole world (John 3:16). He proclaimed this merciful, gracious, glorious gift with these words through John the Immerser, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29) These Holy Days are calling us to do just that, to behold our Lamb, who died to atone for our repentant sins that we might be cleansed in His blood and clothed in His righteousness, because only “holiness befits God” (see Psalm 93:5).

To behold the Lamb means that our heart, mind, eyes, and ears, are fixed on Him above. Yahshua (Jesus) is to be the utmost focus of our attention, affection, and the motivation of our hearts is to be near Him and pleasing in His sight, because His love for us is eternal and we love and obey Him in return. “Nothing can separate us from the love of God”, however, it is written, “your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you …” (Romans 8:38, Isaiah 59:2). Without the shedding of blood to cover our repentant sins we will be separated here on earth, and if sin continues without wholehearted repentance, it will separate us from our God and Savior eternally. Now is the time to “work out our salvation” as never before (Philippians 2:12). The blood of the Lamb is on the heavenly mercy seat for the forgiveness of our confessed sins. This is our holy walk, to behold the Lamb and uphold His blood as a righteous redeemed people. Yahshua (Jesus) is the Living Word, by obedience to His commandments we uphold His blood.

Through Satan’s crafty agenda the eternally vital importance of the Ten Commandments has been ignored, diminished, to completely obliterated, by a majority of humanity, and grievously, by many professing believers in the one true God and Savior. The removal of the holy standards of righteousness has resulted in the horrific decline of the human race to the point that “everyone does what is right in their own eyes” (Judges 17:6). This condition of mankind is an increasingly deadly malignancy, bringing about what our Savior warned the end days would be like, "For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah”. As it is written, regarding that generation, “Yahveh God saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Yahveh was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth…” But Noah found favor in the eyes of Yahveh. “Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence ... for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth. Then God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me; … I am about to destroy them with the earth” (Matthew 24:27, Genesis 6:5-8, 11-13).

Yahshua (Jesus) warned that the days of Noah were going to be repeated at the end of the age, bringing forth His Father’s righteousness indignation and furious judgments on all sin and sinners, regardless of what religious label, title, or badge they wear or profess”

Noah and his family were the only ones spared because of their obedient righteousness in the sight of their Creator. Yahshua (Jesus) warned that the days of Noah were going to be repeated at the end of the age, bringing forth His Father’s righteousness indignation and furious judgments on all sin and sinners, regardless of what religious label, title, or badge they wear or profess. He warns us to be on guard as it is written, "Because lawlessness [the breaking of the commandments] is increased, most people's love [for God and one another] will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12). We are witnessing the fulfillment of His warnings in these tumultuous times we are living in. God’s unchanging law, the Ten Commandments, has been removed not only from stone, but sorrowfully from the hearts and minds of much of humanity. Indeed, once again, “every inclination of man’s heart is becoming only evil always” and it is horrifying how much of humanity calls “evil good and good evil”, even many professing believers (Genesis 6:5, Isaiah 5:20). With that said, The day of the Lord Yahveh will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10). These holy fall feast days point to the end of the age. The forthcoming judgments are and will continue to fall on rebellious mankind until the whole earth will be destroyed once and for all, not by water but by fire. Fire that will burn intently and will be the preview of the lake of unquenchable fires, called hell, reserved for Satan, his demons, and all those who rebel against Yahveh Almighty, and His holy law, the Ten Commandments.

Sin is the by-product of having no standards, and “every man doing what seems right in their own eyes”. Anarchy, lawlessness, mayhem, “wars, and rumors of wars”, are all stirring globally because man has rebelled completely against the holy Creator, and His righteous Commandments”
— Judges 17:6

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand” it is a time to heed the warning of the shofar trumpet blast from heaven, alerting those “who have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying” that it is time to repent and turn from your sins (Romans 13:12, Revelation 3:22). This brings us to a big question, since the standards of righteousness have been removed, what is sin? It is written, “Sin is lawlessness”, breaking the commandments (1 John 3:4). Sin is the by-product of having no standards, and “every man doing what seems right in their own eyes” (Judges 17:6). Anarchy, lawlessness, mayhem, “wars, and rumors of wars”, are all stirring globally because man has rebelled completely against the holy Creator, and His righteous Commandments (Matthew 24:6). Thanks be to our God, that there is a world wide remnant, who loves the Almighty with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength. Whether they live or die, their hearts are set on glorifying their God and Savior with all their hopes set on things above and spending eternity with their beloved Savior and eternal bridegroom.

We have a choice, we are either going to behold and follow our precious Lamb who shed His blood to redeem us to be a holy obedient people who are “saved from “the wrath of God” and “the wrath of the Lamb” or be those who “take lightly such a great salvation” who continue to live in their sinful flesh and for the world who will not be saved from the “wrath of God” and the “wrath of the Lamb”, as magnified several times in the Book of Revelation. (Hebrews 2:3, Revelation 6:16, 11:18, 14:10, 16:19, 19:15) It is time for repentance, the shofar is sounding! It is written, “If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not the Lord Yahveh done it? Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel To His servants the prophets. A lion [of the tribe of Judah] has roared! Who will not fear? The sovereign God, Lawgiver and Judge, has spoken! Who can but prophesy?” (see Amos 3:6-8) The most vital prophetic words of these last days are, “Repent that your sins might be forgiven, return to the Most High God, and obey His Commandments as you behold the Lamb Yahshua (Jesus) and uphold His precious blood. Little time remains, you must “be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect" and you will be unprepared if you are not making ready now (Luke 12:40).

The Book of Life

Book of Life.jpg

At this sobering time of the holy Day of Atonement - Yom Kippur, the core issue of one’s name being written in the Lamb’s book of life, is to be on the repentant hearts of God’s people. Contrary to doctrinal opinion and traditional theologies, our God and Savior made it very clear, in both the Old and New Testaments, that one’s name can be blotted out of the Lamb’s book of life (Exodus 32:33, Revelation 3:5). The removal of this biblical truth from the conscious awareness of so many believers, has caused a pervasive ignorance, apathy, and the lack of the fear of the holy God “who is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29). This common misinterpretation has been one of the many factors contributing to the prophesied counterfeit gospel message and the “great apostasy” we are witnessing (see 1 Timothy 4:1-3, 2 Thessalonians 2:3).

Consequentially, and most grievously, Judaism and Christianity is filled with a multitude of “lukewarm” “double minded” believers, defaming our God and Savior (Revelation 3:16, James 1:8). They continually live for the gratification of the flesh and the preoccupations with this passing world, rather than “denying their flesh, taking up their cross daily to follow Yahshua (Jesus) (Luke 9:23). There is a diminishing number of professing believers who truly mature spiritually, they reflect the world in their word and deed rather than glorifying our holy God and Savior.

He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life”
— Revelation 3:5

In reference to the Book of Life and obedience to the covenant, the Holy Commandments, the Almighty proclaimed, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book” (Exodus 32:33). We read in Revelation, Yahshua (Jesus) is walking in the midst of the seven churches, symbolic of the corporate body of believers. Although He encouraged them, He was also declaring the necessity to continually “repent and overcome” their flesh and it’s ever-present sinful ways or there would be severe eternal consequences (Revelation 2:1-3:22). The Messiah then and now is, proclaiming to all professing believers, “I have a few people [a righteous remnant]… who have not soiled their garments with sin and they will walk with Me for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father. He who has an ear let them hear [and obey] what the Spirit, [like a loud shofar], says to the churches” (Revelation 3:4-6).

If we continue to practice sin after being covered in the blood and claiming Yahshua (Jesus) as Lord and Savior, then we are grieving the Father’s heart and nullifying the covenant. A terrifying judgment awaits those who “took lightly the blood of the covenant”, who “insulted the spirit of grace”, they will be the ones Yahshua (Jesus) spoke of when He said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me , you who practice lawlessness [the breaking of His covenant-the Ten Commandments]' (Hebrews 10:29, Matthew 7:21-22).

WARNING SIN BRINGS JUDGMENT: We must not “neglect so great a salvation” at the risk of the blotting out of our names from the Book of Life (Hebrews 2:3). It is written, “Therefore brethren … if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries” (Hebrews 10:26-27). “For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Yahshua Messiah [Jesus Christ], they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them” (2 Peter 2:20-21).

By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God …”
— 1 John 3:10

The Scripture says, “Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin” (James 4:17). “Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning” No one who is born of God [habitually] practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God …” (1 John 3:7-10). Obedience to the Almighty’s commandments is practicing righteousness, which brings eternal blessings. Disobedience is practicing sin, which brings curses and judgments. Both the blessings and the curses are mightily proclaimed in Deuteronomy 28 and are continually reemphasized through out the New Testament. We are to “walk in a manner worthy of the high call” for which the blood of our Savior redeemed us, to be a holy people who glorify the Most High God in word and deed. Yahshua (Jesus) said, “it is only right for us to fulfill all righteousness” (Ephesians 4:1, Matthew 3:15). He walked in total obedience to every one of His Father’s commandments; He was completely sinless “leaving us an example for us to follow in His footsteps” (1 Peter 2:21).

It is written, “By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked. … “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 2:3-6, 5:3).

Uphold the Commandments by the Spirit

“… What does Yahveh your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to Him, to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe Yahveh God’s commands and decrees … for your own good?” (Deuteronomy 10:12-13) The flesh cannot uphold The Commandments, as hard as we try. We all need the divine gift of “the Helper”, our Savior’s indwelling Holy Spirit, to lead us into all obedience and righteousness, perfecting holiness out of the reverential fear of Yahveh (John 14:26). By the Spirit we can truly say, “I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law [commandments] is within my heart” (Psalm 40:8). The Almighty’s commandments express His holy nature and perfect will. Our Heavenly Father’s infinite love gives us righteous standards by which to live without sin because sin harms us, now and eternally. He sent His only begotten Son “to give us an example to follow in His sinless steps” (1 Peter 2:21). The Jewish Messiah did not come to change or abolish the Holy One of Israel’s commandments, but to uphold them. (see Matthew 5:17). The Apostle John said, “By this we know that we are in [Yahshua/Jesus]: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked” (1John 2:5). Our Savior said, “He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him” (John 14:21).

The Almighty says, “If you walk in all My ways, “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me”
— 2 Corinthians 6:18

The Righteous One is going to judge all unrighteousness. He is going to pour out His judgments on everyone who continually practices sin, breaking His Commandments, thus insulting the Spirit of truth, grace, and love. The Ten Commandments are our Heavenly Father’s standards by which to live in loving obedience as His holy redeemed children, longing to be pleasing in His sight. He says, “If you walk in all My ways, “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me” (2 Corinthians 6:18). “Know therefore today, and take it to your heart, that Yahveh, He is God in heaven above and on the earth below; there is no other. So you shall keep … His Commandments … that it may go well with you and with your children after you …” (Deuteronomy 4:39-40).

By the Spirit we can truly say, “I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law [commandments] is within my heart”
— Psalm 40:8

Yahshua (Jesus) did not do away with the sacred Old Testament that magnifies His Father, and prophesied of Himself who came as the Jewish Messiah. “The Holy One of Israel so loved the world that He sent His Son” to all who believe, to the Jews first and also to the Gentiles (John 3:16, Romans 1:16) Yahshua (Jesus) came to do away with human traditions that had nullified and distorted His Fathers words by replacing them with doctrines and traditions of men (see Matthew 15:6). At the close of the age, Yahshua’s Spirit is shining a bright light to expose hypocrisy and apostasy resulting from man made traditions and Satan’s infiltration to distort and undermine pure biblical truth. So many professing believers, through religious deception, are on the “broad path that leads to destruction instead of the narrow path that leads to life” (Matthew 7:13-14). “All Scripture, both Old and New Testaments, are profitable, for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).

We are saved by grace, and by the same God given grace the Holy Spirit gives us the power to obey the commandments upholding righteousness. It is written, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Messiah Yahshua [Christ Jesus], who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds” (Titus 2:11-14). Apostle Paul addressed those who are saved by grace and faith, he said, “Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law [the Commandments]”. “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome” (Romans 3:31, 1 John 5:3).Yahveh God’s righteous standards have not changed. He has not changed. He “is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). His words are yes and Amen and He said, "You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahveh your God which I command you.” To anyone who dares to add or delete from His word and commandments, the Almighty Lawgiver and Judge said, He will “reprove you, and you will be proved a liar” and “no liar enters the eternal kingdom” (Proverbs 30:6, Deuteronomy 4:2, Revelation 21:8). “If we say that we have not sinned we make Him a liar and His word is not in us” (1 John 1:10).

The Feast of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, reminds us of our continual need to go to our sacrificial Lamb, Yahshua (Jesus), whose atoning blood is on the heavenly mercy seat. We can go with confidence in His infinite unfailing love that forgives us of our repentant sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). “To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood - … to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Revelation 1:5)

The Commandments Define Sin

We need the blood of Yahshua (Jesus), our sacrificial Lamb, who died to make atonement for our many sins, to heal and deliver us from the destructive bondages and strongholds over our lives

In the beginning of His ministry, Yahshua (Jesus) proclaimed these vital words that continue as a shofar blast to the end of the age, “Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand”. “… Unless you repent, you too will all perish” (Matthew 3:2, Luke 13:3). Below are the Ten Commandments, which will lead us into areas of repentance, that we are all guilty of, at one time or another. We could not have come to know sin except through the commandments (see Romans 7:7). We need the blood of Yahshua (Jesus), our sacrificial Lamb, who died to make atonement for our many sins, to heal and deliver us from the destructive bondages and strongholds over our lives. It is written, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Once our sins are repented for and cleansed in the sacrificial “blood of the Lamb of God”, we have the added divine help of the indwelling Holy Spirit, giving us the grace and power to turn away from that transgression and “go, and sin no more” (see Revelation 12:11, John 1:29, 14:26, John 8:11).

The Messiah magnified and expanded the Ten Commandments, to His Jewish brethren first and then to the Gentiles, so that all believers could be keenly alert and aware of the subtleties that lead us into sin. He emphatically stated, "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law [the Commandments] or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill” (Matthew 5:17). With His heart of love and great “light of revelation”, we will see how insidiously sin is embedded in our human nature (Luke 2:32). Then, we must be on guard, always “watching ourselves”, being humble to repent of any and all sin and quickly turn to obedient righteousness (2 John 1:8).

If we don’t mature, we will backslide”

As we prayerfully read and feed on the Word of God, we are continually convicted by the Holy Spirit, pointing to the need of repentance and the cleansing blood of the Lamb, Who clothes us in His righteousness. If we don’t mature, we will backslide. We must be diligent in “working out our salvation”, growing in the identity of our Savior, and reflecting His holiness by His indwelling Spirit through our words and deeds. As our Savior said, “let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy" (Philippians 2:12, Revelation 22:11). We all have many sins we are unaware of and the Holy Spirit will continue to convict us as we “grow up into our salvation” (1 Peter 2:2).

The New Covenant versus the Old Covenant

Following this teaching, the Ten Commandments are listed. May you read them, allowing the Holy Spirit to “convict you of sin, His righteousness and the judgments that are coming” (John 16:8). Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) infinite love and outstretched hands are opened wide to each of us when we come with a “humble and contrite heart that trembles at His words” (Isaiah 66:2). “Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” for repentance, forgiveness, and the cleansing of our sins in His atoning blood (Hebrews 4:16). The word atonement when looked at in segments, we see: at one ment. We will have unity, oneness with our holy God and Savior, when our sins are repented for and no longer a barrier between us. Let us "behold the Lamb of God who takes away our repentant sins" and uphold His blood in loving dedication and obedience to His righteous commandments (John 1:29).

Toward the very end of the Scripture it is written, “Blessed are they that do His commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14). Blessed are those who keeps His commandments and when they break His commandments repent and wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb, in order to be seen as righteous in the sight of a holy God. The blood of the Lamb Yahshua (Jesus), is on the heavenly altar, there is no condemnation for us. Our Savior’s love is still reaching out in mercy, to every repentant heart that truly asks for forgiveness for sin.

Please note: Clink on the Commandments below, each commandment has expanded insight into how it pertains to sin and our holy walk and vital preparation for our coming King and the eternal Kingdom.

A prayer of sincere repentance

On Yom Kippur - the day of Atonement

My God and Savior, You are holy and I know that You are going to judge everyone according to their obedience or disobedience to Your covenant, the Ten Commandments. Thank You for Your Son’s blood that has been poured out on my behalf that I might be cleansed. I have sinned and fallen short of Your righteousness, of Your glory. I hear the sound of Your voice, Your words like a trumpet, convicting me of my many sins. With true sorrow, I humble myself with a repentant heart. Thank You Yahshua (Jesus) for Your sacrificial blood that cleanses my repentant heart so that my sins will not keep me from coming into Your presence, now and into eternity.

May You continue to bring light upon my sins, may I see how I have grieved Your righteous Spirit. May I take stock of the motives, the desires of my heart, my ambitions, my agendas, my hopes and dreams, and if they are not centered on You, please convict me, that I might repent and have Your cleansing now, I pray this in Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) name. Wash me Father from my thoughts and actions that are carnal, and from the words I’ve spoken that do not line up to Your truth, Your commandments. Purify and cleanse my heart from my own selfish ambitions, from the lust of the eyes, things I’ve seen and listened to that are contrary to You, and the cravings for idolatrous things of this doomed world. Cleanse my lips from all profane and idle words that have been from the flesh, stimulated by the world, by my own angers, frustrations, and impurities. I am sorry for grieving You by not making it my wholehearted ambition to uphold Your commandments by the grace and power of Your indwelling Holy Spirit. Thank you that You are calling me to sincerely repent and turn, that Your mercy might be granted to me once again.

Thank you for the covenant-Your commandments, that are written on my heart and in my mind, that You placed there to keep me from sinning against You, my holy God and Redeemer. I know that the desires and inclinations of my heart and the thoughts of my mind are what You continually see. Father in heaven, thank You for having mercy on me, I am a sinner because I do not uphold Your righteous commandments with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Forgive me for not loving You enough to dedicate my life to pleasing You, by upholding all righteousness as Your Son, my Savior did while on earth, giving the perfect example of how to live. This is the love I must have. May Your conviction be very powerful, may it cut asunder all the cravings, all the pride, all the arrogance. May the crooked places in my life that cause me to veer from Your perfect will be made straight, because I truly repent. May I have the fear of You, Yahveh, the reverential fear of the One Who has proclaimed the beginning to the end, the One who has spelled out the days ahead that will bring the devastation of this earth and all the inhabitants thereof, except for a faithful few.

Father in heaven, I don’t want to be away from You for one day much less an eternity. I don’t want to reap destruction, have mercy on me. Sober me up, the intoxicants of this world are so powerful, very few can resist, only those anchored in Your Word, only those established in Your presence, who are filled with Your Spirit, will be able to resist these powerful intoxicants. Free me Yahveh (Lord), cleanse me, help me to stay clear of these intoxicating, enticing influences that my faith will be immovable as I stand secure on You, the eternal rock of my salvation. Thank You for the power in the blood of the Lamb, that covers and removes my sins that I not be condemned, but clothed in Your righteousness and acceptable in Your sight. May I not hold on to secret sins in order to have them stored away for my own lust and my own pleasure. You gave Your life to redeem me from the wages of sin’s consequences in Hell. In return, I give my life to You on Your altar as a living sacrifice made holy and acceptable, for Your good pleasure. I want to be holy because You are holy, and only those who are holy will see You and live in Your eternal presence.

My God and Savior, into Your hands, I commit my life, commit my family, my desires, and everyone and everything that concerns me. You purchased me for Yourself, my life is not mine, it belongs to You. May I fight the good fight of faith with the power of Your indwelling Holy Spirit as you continue to convict me of my sins, and Your righteousness, and the judgments that are coming. May the fear of You give me the wisdom to number my days by living a life upholding Your righteous commandments. Help me to die to my flesh nature that I live in the Spirit reflecting You, my Savior in word and deed to the glory of Your Father, my Father who is in heaven. I am eager to diligently study Your word and truly learn to obey Your commandments. I ask for the help of Your Holy Spirit to uphold them with a renewed dedication and commitment. I desire to serve and glorify You from the depth of my heart of love that I might be holy and live with You in Your eternal kingdom of righteousness. In Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) Name, Amen.

A Psalm of Praise for Forgiveness of Sins

“How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man to whom the Lord Yahveh does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit! I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to Yahveh”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him. You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance” (Psalm 32:1-2, 5-7).

Overview of Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur—the day of atonement is the second of the three fall feasts (Leviticus 16 and 23:26).  This shall be a permanent statute for you: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble your souls and not do any work, whether the native, or the alien who sojourns among you; for it is on this day that atonement shall be made for you to cleanse you; you will be clean from all your sins before YAHveh (the LORD).  It is to be a sabbath of solemn rest for you, that you may humble your souls; it is a permanent statute. “So the priest who is anointed and ordained to serve as priest... shall make atonement: He shall also make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly. Now you shall have this as a permanent statute, to make atonement for the sons of Israel for all their sins once every year” (Leviticus 16:29-34). Of all the millions that professed Him and of all the millions YAHveh called His very own who were delivered out of Egypt because of the lamb’s blood, this did not guarantee they would enter the Promised Land.  The Commandments were the only thing that separated Israel to make them separate and holy.  When Moses, the mediator, was up on Mt Sinai, even after all the miracles YAHveh had just done to deliver them from the Egyptians, they made an idol—a god of a golden calf.  They corrupted themselves with worldly revelry and quickly turned aside from the way YAHveh commanded by making a synchronistic religion of the calf and YAHveh.  YAHveh (the LORD) knew how prone to evil and obstinate the people were and in His jealous and burning anger He said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book” (Exodus 32:33).

Therein is the need for the blood so that their names would not be blotted out of His book. This points to the feasts and culminates with this most important feast of the Day of Atonement by which their names would be reinstated in His book for another year by the covering of their sins in the blood, that they could go into the eternal promised land—His kingdom.

This feast needs to be looked at in the light of revelation in several vital aspects. First we see YAHshua (Jesus) as our Yom Kippur priest and as the once and for all sacrifice to die for our atonement —the covering and removal of our sins.  “For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest… exalted above the heavens; who does not need daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people, because this He did once for all when He offered up Himself” (Hebrews 7:26-27). In that respect He is the fulfillment of not only the Passover lamb but of the Yom Kippur atoning sacrifices.  He is the covering of the blood of the sin offering and He is the scapegoat who bore on Himself all our iniquities and removes them as far as the east is from the west (Leviticus 16:15-17,21-22). This can be studied in great depth in other writings on the feasts, but the coming prophetic fulfillment is specifically towards unredeemed Israel who have not yet, as a nation, recognized her Messiah as that fulfillment to cover their sins and rebellion against YAHveh (the LORD).

Israel - God's Treasured Possession

“To the Extent that You Did It to One of These Brothers of Mine”

At the close of the age, when the Almighty’s plumb line of righteousness is stretched to measure people and nations and knowing “it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God” (1Peter 4:17) it is vital that we understand the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob’s love, purpose, and plan in and through the Jewish people. For YAHveh (the LORD) has chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel for His own possession” (Psalm 135:4). May He grant you eyes to see, ears to hear, and a tender heart on which to write these vital truths.

As believers in our beloved Savior and His atoning blood it is essential that we understand the true body that He died to create as a “new creation”—one new man (Ephesians 2:14-16). Then we can rightly discern the full measure of what His sacrifice on Calvary purchased and accomplished to the glory of His Father.  Besides the Ten Commandments there are other covenant promises that are important for His people to be aware of.  Because He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob it is important to understand the covenant and its requirements. The blessings and the curses regarding this spelled out mandate are in Genesis 12:3— “I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."

In the days we are living so many people worldwide are ignorant of two major core issues:  the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob’s eternal plan with His chosen people Israel and the plan of Satan to repeat his historic attempts to destroy them.  Most people are influenced by Satan’s lies on this subject as if having a personal opinion on the subject is like politics where people feel free to do so—since it is the hot spot of the world with much focus, discord, clamoring Media, and personal opinions.   However this is a subject that cannot be taken lightly, ignored, or dealt with on an emotional or intellectual level. The part of YAHveh’s heart, plan for eternal life, and promised blessing to Israel must be looked at through the standard of His scripturally recorded covenant.

This is such an accentuated time in the conclusion of this age that there is a special judgment for those who know YAHveh’s (the LORD’s) heart and humbly heed the call to be the extension of His love and lay down their lives for His Jewish brethren for "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me’ (Matthew 25:40). This very prominent judgment is going to separate the professing Gentile believers (goats) from the true circumcised in heart Gentile believers (sheep) who manifest the love and mercy of YAHshua (Jesus) in the time of Jacob’s trouble that they may come in and know their Messiah.  His Jewish brethren will see the sacrificial love displayed through their very lives—sacrificed as YAHshua was, for their salvation. This critical judgment of YAHveh dividing the sheep from the goats regarding their treatment and attitude toward His firstborn chosen people—His brethren the Jews, is usually overlooked or misinterpreted. Yet it is so important that people’s salvation can hang in the balance because they do not house YAHshua’s (Jesus’s) love for His people and the obedience to allow Him to be seen in and through their sacrificial love.

All those who understand YAHveh’s heart and have YAHshua living mightily by His spirit in them are going to supernaturally watch YAHshua (Jesus) cause them to do what they could never do on their own.  It is going to be a supernatural expression of His love to the point that it may cost them their lives. “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on YAHshua (Jesus), the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart” (Hebrews 12:1-3).

For the joy that was set before YAHshua (Jesus), He endured the cross, shame and the utter humiliation of being naked with jeering masses spitting at Him and now He sits at the right hand of the Father.  We are to die daily to our flesh for the joy set before us or else we cannot walk the walk.  If we are living for just the next fix on this earth we will not have enough to get us through. We have to learn quickly to have our joys and mind set “on the things above, not on the things that are on earth” (Colossians 3:2) in the utmost way of dying to our flesh so that we can live eternally in the spirit.

“Therefore, since Messiah has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live the rest of time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men (lust of the flesh), but for the will of YAHveh” (1Peter 4:1-2). But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells” (2Peter 3:13). This is the badge of a real believer; it is nothing else. Real, faith-filled, redeemed believers of the Most High live with this hope, living righteously before YAHveh and leading others to do the same.

Prepare Yourself Before the Almighty

- A Prayer -

Prayer:  YAHveh (LORD) You said, "Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, And shout among the chief of the nations; Proclaim, give praise and say, 'O YAHveh, save Your people, The remnant of Israel” (Jeremiah 31:7).' "Behold, I have inscribed [Israel] on the palms of My hands” (Isaiah 49:16). “ I have formed you, you are My servant, O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me” (Isaiah 44:21).

YAHveh, Your heart is set as the omnipotent Father whose love never fails.  You will never forget your chosen people Israel; those who will love, obey and glorify You in word and deed in accepting You as their Ruler, King and Mashiach (Messiah).  We pray for the lost sheep of the remnant of Israel preordained to come in in the midst of this coming time of Jacob’s trouble. We pray for the remnant of Israel and for the true body of believers that “one new man” who will be the only people on the face of the earth that stand separate from the global agenda, and global religious system and all that will be required for Israel and the church’s salvation. We pray for all the lives that will be laid down because of Your love and Your heartbeat pulsating through the redeemed elect that Israel might know You and come to You because they have seen the resurrected Mashiach (Messiah) lay down His life once again that a remnant will be saved.

YAHveh (LORD), may the light of the Son of Righteousness arise in the hearts of Your elect with healing and deliverance from all that has encumbered us. We pray that You prepare Your people to lay down their physical lives for Your namesake, glory and for the salvation of many— to the Jews first then to the Gentile. YAHshua - thank you for Your word that encourages us, “Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Messiah as Master in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.” (1Peter 3:13-15)

YAHshua (Jesus), prepare Your people for martyrdom with joy and gladness that we know You intimately in Your sufferings for the joy set before us to rule and reign with You our beloved reward, forever and ever in Your kingdom.  Prepare Your remnant to endure victoriously to the end that we will be saved through and out of the tribulation that is coming. HalleluYAH for Your grace YAHveh (LORD)!  Thank you for the wisdom and for the depth and the height and the breath of Your love that we might know it.  May it causes us to lay down our lives that others can know You.  The ultimate laying down of our lives is so others can see Your love extended and emanating once again given for their lives.  Death O death where is your sting?  We shall not die but live to proclaim the glory of You our risen King, halleluYAH!  May Your perfect love be perfected in us that there will be no fear of death so that we would glorify You and lead many into Your kingdom.  May we rejoice when we are persecuted for Your name knowing more of the glory of YAHveh rests upon us.

Yom Kippur Behold the Lamb and Uphold His Sacrifice Title (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Introduction

- Yahshua [Jesus] the Beginning & End of the Biblical Feasts -

The Creator of heaven and earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has seasons and a holy biblically proclaimed calendar to mark certain appointed times by which to meet with Him (see Leviticus 23). These biblically appointed times are given by our God to be a great blessing for His children. Through understanding them we are given an added light of revelation of the prophetic overview of His plan of glorious redemption through His Son who became the “once and for all ultimate sacrifice” for the “wages of our sin which is death” (see Hebrews 10:10, Romans 6:23). All the Feasts from the beginning to the end are a clearly prescribed map for our spiritual pilgrimage in following Yahshua [Jesus] who is “the way, truth, and life” (John 14:6). This is the season of the appointed Feasts of the seventh month (Biblical calendar). May we “behold the Lamb of God” and uphold His blood that covers and takes away our humbly repentant sins in order to have eternal life in His coming righteous Messianic Kingdom (John 1:29). Yahshua [Jesus] the Messiah said, “I am … the beginning and the end” and indeed He is the beginning and the end of everything including the biblical feasts (Revelation 22:13). The Spring Feasts — Passover, First Fruits, and the Feast of Weeks have been perfectly fulfilled on time by our Savior’s death, resurrection, and the outpouring of His Holy Spirit [in Hebrew-Ruach HaKodesh]. The Fall Feasts — the Feast of Trumpets (traditionally known as Rosh Hashanah), Yom Kippur - the Day of Atonement, and Sukkot - the Feast of Tabernacles, have been fulfilled in part. These last days in which we are living are accelerating toward the conclusion of the prophetic fulfillment of all the Fall Feasts. The Holy Spirit is sounding an alarm through many of His chosen mouthpieces. The Almighty’s urgent warning is sounding like a shofar powerfully proclaiming His words, “Cry loudly, do not hold back; Raise your voice like a trumpet, and declare to My people their transgression … their sins” (Isaiah 58:1).

Prayer and Repentance Thumbnail (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

His Holy Spirit is warning of judgment on all unrepentant sin and sinners; those who continually rebel against the will of the Almighty and habitually disobey His holy Commandments. Yahshua [Jesus] frequently proclaimed, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says” (Revelation 2:29). At this late hour all who hear the Holy Spirit proclaiming, “repent, repent, repent”, are wise because they have ears to hear and heed the spiritual message of the trumpet, piercing their souls with the “conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgments that are coming” (see John 16:8). This humble and wise remnant who responds to this mighty call to repentance are blessed in the Holy One’s sight; He explained, “… to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word” (Isaiah 66:2). “For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation …” because of the atoning blood of Yahshua [Jesus] the Yom Kippur sacrifice (2 Corinthians 7:10).

These Fall Feasts and the culmination of this age point to the Almighty Creator’s righteous indignation and judgments against sin. These judgments are already manifesting. Yahshua [Jesus] said they will continue to come forth as birth pains on a woman getting closer and closer together as Yahveh Almighty pours forth His righteous anger on all sinners and all who cause sin to prosper. These forthcoming judgments on this sin-ridden earth are a prerequisite in order to establish His home of righteousness for His redeemed remnant who have followed Him out of this doomed world system through the narrow gate on the “narrow path” that leads to eternal life (see Matthew 7:13).

The concluding Feast of Sukkot — the Feast of Tabernacles, will be fulfilled after the earth is almost completely destroyed because of the judgment on sin and sinners. Then comes the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles as was revealed to Apostle John, “… I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away … and I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, … And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them” (Revelation 21:1-3).

Behold the Lamb & Uphold His Blood

We are now at this critical juncture of the biblical time of Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement (Leviticus 23:26-32). The repentance that is evoked at the sound of the shofar during the preceding Feast of Trumpets points us to the holiness of God and how far short we fall because of our fleshy sin nature. Sin leads to death. Repentance and the covering of the blood leads to life. Our Savior said, “Unless you repent, you will all … perish” eternally (Luke 13:3). From the first day of Tishri [the Feast of Trumpets] when the shofar sounds calling the people to prayerful introspection, there are ten following days called “the days of awe”. This is a time sobriety and reverential fear of the Holy One causing His people to prepare their hearts for true repentance and the merciful provision of the substitute sacrifice and covering of its blood on the holy altar at Yom Kippur. It is a time when Israel knew that their lives hung in the balance. They knew that the Mighty God of Israel had called their attention through the sounding of the ram’s horn to the fact that He provided them a substitute [Yahveh Yire meaning Yahveh provides], symbolized by the ram caught in the thicket to spare Abraham’s son Isaac from death (Genesis 22:13).

The Almighty God and Creator, the Holy One of Israel, instituted the sacrificial system to precede and point to Yahshua [Jesus] our substitute, “the once and for all final sacrifice” (Hebrews 10:10). He bore our sins in His body, crucified on the tree at Calvary, so that our sins would not cause us to be separated from Him and His eternal righteous Kingdom. This was the fulfillment of the Almighty’s grace to provide the substitute, the final provision for a remnant who would behold the Lamb and by His Spirit uphold His blood through humble repentant hearts.

When the Holy One descended upon Mount Sinai, He gave His people the Ten Commandments, as the standard of righteous living by which they would remain in covenant union with Him (see Exodus 19). Israel was told, “Keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the Lord Yahveh our God whenever we call on Him? ... So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments. …“Beware that you do not forget the Lord Yahveh your God by not keeping His commandments … which I am commanding you today.” (Deuteronomy 4:6-8, 13 8:11)

Simply put, Yahveh (God) gave His commandments to Israel entrusting them to be obedient to Him for His glory and to be “a light of revelation” and a “witness” to the Gentile nations (Luke 2:32, Isaiah 43:10). The Almighty’s plan for and through Israel was His infinite loving desire to bless His “chosen people” for their obedience and to draw the Gentiles away from the deception of their pagan gods to join with Israel in loving worship and obedience to the One true Holy God and His righteous Commandments.

Israel and all humanity has fallen short of the glory, the righteousness, the Commandments of Yahveh. On the Day of Atonement – Yom Kippur, Israel had ten days of repentance for their disobedience of the Ten Commandments. They came with fear and trembling knowing that their sins would condemn and separate them from their holy God. They understood that without holiness no one would be able to stand in Yahveh God’s presence. The Most High God made a provision for the deadly consequences of sin. He said, “… the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; …” (Leviticus 17:11). The grief over their sin leads them to their dire need of the blood sacrifice that would cover their repentant hearts.

We are witnessing the prophetic fulfillment of the biblical feasts. Judgments have already begun and are accelerating due to sin, which is rebellion against the Almighty and His Commandments. As inheritors of the sin nature of Adam and Eve, "There is none righteous, not even one”. We must repent, repent, repent, because “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:10, 23). All of us continually break His Commandments and statutes and we need our sins covered in the Yom Kippur sacrifice that has been fulfilled by “the Lamb of God Yahshua [Jesus] who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29)

The Third Day Approaches

Be Holy for I Am Holy (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

The following Scriptures are a prophetic preview of Yahshua [Jesus] who came down from heaven to explain the holiness of God “because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy” (1Peter 1:16, Leviticus 11:45). We gain foundational insight from Yahveh’s words to Moses as warnings and instruction for His people. “Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession … you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ … “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow. Have them wash their clothes and be ready by the third day, because on that day Yahveh [the Lord] will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. Put limits for the people around the mountain and tell them, ‘Be careful that you do not approach the mountain or touch the foot of it. Whoever touches the mountain is to be put to death. Only when the ram’s horn sounds a long blast may they approach the mountain [the holy mountain and presence of Yahveh].” After Moses [a prefiguring of Yahshua] had gone down the mountain to the people … he consecrated them [they were purified by the symbolic washing of their clothes] … Then he said to the people, “Prepare yourselves for the third day.”… On the morning of the third day there was … a very loud trumpet blast. Everyone in the camp trembled. Then Moses led the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Yahveh [the Lord] descended on it in fire ... As the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder … Moses went up and Yahveh said to him, “Go down and warn the people so they do not force their way through to see the Lord Yahveh and many of them perish… Yahveh replied, …“the people must not force their way through to come up to Yahveh, or he will break out against them.” (Exodus 19:5,6,10-21,24)

Our sins will stand and condemn us unless we have repented for each sin we have been convicted of and then the blood of Yahshua [Jesus] will proclaim us righteous and justified in the sight of the Great Commandment Giver and Judge”

We must be consecrated and like Israel, have fear and trembling on us in the recognition and face of the Almighty who is a “consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29). We can never push our way into the presence of a holy God who said, “without holiness no one will see Him”, they will die apart from Him (see Hebrews 12:14) No one will be able to ascend into His holy eternal presence without the consecration that comes through repentance and the covering of blood that makes us clean and righteous in His sight. Our sins will stand and condemn us unless we have repented for each sin we have been convicted of and then the blood of Yahshua [Jesus] will proclaim us righteous and justified in the sight of the Great Commandment Giver and Judge. Yahveh God’s chosen people of Israel were required to consecrate themselves for two days so that on the third day, in a state of purification and holiness, they could ascend His holy mountain. Israel’s consecration points to our necessity to be purified through true repentance for breaking His commandments and thereby having our sins mercifully covered by our Savior’s atoning blood. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). The King of Glory is holy, only the consecrated and pure in heart will see Him.

This example of Israel consecration in order to ascend into Yahveh’s presence is to motivate us because we are at the end of the age. Approximately two thousand years [“two days”] have past since our Messiah’s birth, death, and resurrection and we are approaching the third day when that loud trumpet shofar blasts and our holy God and Savior will call the consecrated, blood washed redeemed into His eternal presence and kingdom. Apostle Peter gives us understanding regarding the three days, “But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day” (2 Peter 3:8).

The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant [the Ten Commandments]. Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty”
— Isaiah 24:5-6

We are in the symbolic third day and Yahshua [Jesus] is calling us to be consecrated and eagerly waiting to ascend to see the King of Glory, our blessed Redeemer. Our God and Savior is alerting us to the fact that “He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness” according to His everlasting “covenant the Ten Commandments” (Psalm 96:13, Deuteronomy 4:13). It is written, “Behold, Yahveh [the Lord] lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants. … The earth will be completely laid waste and completely despoiled, for Yahveh [the Lord] has spoken this word … The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant [the Ten Commandments]. Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty. Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left … Terror and pit and snare Confront you, O inhabitant of the earth … For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake. The earth is broken asunder, the earth is split through, the earth is shaken violently. The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard and it totters like a shack, for its transgression is heavy upon it, and it will fall, never to rise again”. (Isaiah 24:1,5-6,17,18b-20)

Apostle Peter affirms this prophetic coming end time scenario, “The day of the Lord Yahveh will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells … You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error [religious deception and distortion of truth] of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Master and Savior Yahshua Messiah [Jesus Christ]. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen”. (2 Peter 3:10-14,17-18)

Yahshua [Jesus] exhorts us, “Keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man." "…The one who endures [through faithful obedience] to the end, he will be saved” (Luke 21:26, Matthew 24:13). Dear Ones, “We must “work out our salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12). Two thousand years have past; the third day is upon us. The Spirit of Truth, through a symbolic loud trumpet blast, is grasping the attention of those who will heed the call to humbly and wholeheartedly repent and turn away from sin and be covered in the atoning blood of the Lamb. Yahshua [Jesus] does not condemn us but He says, “… go and sin no more” (John 11:8). The righteous remnant is preparing through consecration to be ready and eagerly waiting to hear the ultimate trumpet call to ascend into their Eternal God and Savior’s presence and kingdom. “The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Messiah [Christ] will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord Yahshua [Jesus]” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

The Holy Spirit is shouting loudly through His word, “The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness … and put on the Lord Yahshua Messiah [Jesus Christ], and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its desires” (Romans 13:12,14). It’s Midnight, very little time is left, we must repent for our many sins and be covered in the Lamb’s blood for the “kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2). “The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.” We are to fervently pray that we will be able to stand unashamed without our sins condemning us before Yahshua [Jesus] and hear Him say, “Well done good and faithful servant” “come and share in your Father’s eternal joy” (Matthew 25:21,23).

Yahshua [Jesus] Slain to Cover & Remove our Sins

Forgiven Thumbnail (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement, the root word comes from the Hebrew word Kapher which means to cover. In Hebrew, the mercy seat, the cover on the Ark of the Covenant that housed the Ten Commandments was called the kapporeth — the covering. Yom Kippur is the day of the covering. The sacrificial blood on the altar covers our repentant hearts and averts Yahveh God’s righteous indignation and judgment. It is very important that we understand that these Feasts of Leviticus 23 are not just for the Jewish people; they paint a picture of the plan of salvation and define our daily walk and pilgrimage on earth in preparation for the kingdom. It keeps us on track with our God and Savior as we prayerfully meet with Him at these appointed times. During Yom Kippur we have a key Scripture, “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness [of sin]” (Hebrews 9:22). Yahveh God says, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls” (Leviticus 17:11). The sacrificial blood is the focal point of Yom Kippur.

In Leviticus 23 and well as Leviticus16 there is much written about the purification of the High Priest. On that one day of Yom Kippur, one man — the High Priest, was allowed to go into the Holy of Holies on behalf of the forgiveness of sins for himself, his household, and for all of Yahveh God’s people [Israel and all those joined with her]. In Leviticus 16 we read about two goats that were part of the Yom Kippur sacrifice. One was the “scapegoat” the other was the sacrificial “sin offering”. Both these goats point to our Savior. The scapegoat lived and took the sins of Israel out into the wilderness symbolically to remove the sins far away from them (see Leviticus 16:21). The Holy One says, “as far as the east if from the west so far has He removed our sins from us” (Psalm 103:12). The other goat was sacrificed on the altar for the atoning of sin. Yahshua [Jesus] is our scapegoat who removes the penalty of our confessed sins as well as our “once and for all sacrifice” whose blood cleanses us of all repentant transgressions of His righteous Commandments (Hebrews 10:10).

Redeemed Thumbnail (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Yom Kippur, points us daily for the need of Yahshua’s blood covering over our repentant sins. The writer of Hebrews encourages us, “let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). May you rejoice in the outpoured atonement, the blood of Yahshua [Jesus] the Lamb Who is always merciful to forgive and cleanse us with His blood. This is why Apostle Paul says, “I determine to know nothing but [Yahshua our Lamb] and Him crucified”, slain for our sin (1 Corinthians 2:2). As we work out our salvation, the Holy Spirit in mercy continues to convict us “of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” pointing us to Yahshua’s infinite love expressed in His sacrificial blood (John 16:8). Yahshua longs for us to come humbly with faith knowing that He is quick to cover our sins and clothe us in His righteousness. It is written “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Messiah Yahshua [Christ Jesus]” because they are covered in His lifeblood and seen and welcomed as holy in the sight of the Father (Romans 8:1). “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds [breaking the Commandments] are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; Blessed is the man to whom Yahveh [the Lord] shall not impute sin” (Romans 4:7-8). Thanks be to Yahveh God who causes us to triumph over our sin nature through Yahshua [Jesus] Messiah and His sacrificial atoning blood.

Yahshua [Jesus] the Ultimate Sacrifice & Our High Priest

The Book of Hebrews is written to show us the fulfillment of Yom Kippur through Yahshua Messiah who became our “once and for all sacrifice” and our one and only High Priest who “lives to make intercession for us. “When Messiah appeared as a High Priest … He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands … and not through the blood of goats and calves.” “He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption” (Hebrews 9:11-12). It is finished! Yahshua (Jesus) became the final and last ultimate sacrifice and our High Priest. The writer of Hebrews said, “How much more will the blood of Messiah [Christ], who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works [led by the flesh] to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:14) Let us praise His glorious name and wholeheartedly uphold His ultimate blood sacrifice through obedience to His Commandments, as we bring Him honor and glory through our redeemed righteous lives!

“So Messiah also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him” (Hebrews 9:28). Those “who eagerly await Him” are those who are wholeheartedly denying their flesh in order to live in the Spirit and obey our God and Savior’s righteous Commandments. They are consumed with loving obedience to be found pure, spotless, and holy when they appear before their beloved Savior. For those who are deceived and not eagerly preparing and waiting, are on dangerous ground because they are half hearted and double minded to “take lightly such a great salvation” (see Hebrews 2:3). It is written, “For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins” (Hebrews 10:26). The good news of the gospel message is, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

This is the message of Yom Kippur the Day of Atonement. Brethren, our God and Savior is very explicit when He says if we willingly continue to sin there remains no further sacrifice “but a terrifying expectation of judgment, and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries [those who do not humbly obey and serve Him]”. “Our God is a consuming fire”! (Hebrews 10:27,12:29) “How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean [unholy] the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?” It is written, “How will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?” (Hebrews 10:29, 2:3) Yahveh God says, “Yet in a very little while He who is coming will come and will not delay. But My righteous one shall live by faith; and if he shrinks back my soul has no pleasure in him” (Hebrews 10:37-38). Brethren, we have got to walk by faith and that faith will cause us to walk on paths of righteousness for His name’s sake, because righteous judgments are going to fall. Psalm 32 is for all of us at this time of Yom Kippur, “How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! [kapporeth - Yom Kippur the covering of our sins] … When I kept silent about my sin my body wasted away … I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to Yahveh”; and You did forgive the guilt of my sin. Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found” (Psalm 32:1,3,5).

“NOW is the day of salvation”! There is little time left, we must seek and do the will of our Heavenly Father and Savior. It is written, “If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Messiah [Christ]” (1 Peter 1:13-19).

A Prayer of Godly Sorrow that Leads to True Repentance that leads to salvation

Seek Thumbnail (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Let us pause during this Yom Kippur teaching with a humble repentant prayer including portions of Psalm 51. “Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin [with the blood of Yahshua - Jesus the Lamb]. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned and done what is evil in Your sight … Behold, You desire truth [and righteousness] in the innermost being, and in the hidden part You will make me know wisdom. Purify me with hyssop [Your blood], and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness … Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. … O God, the God of my salvation; then my tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, that my mouth may declare Your praise. For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it; ... The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.” (Psalm 51:1-4, 7-12, 14-17)

The Silent Prayer Thumbnail (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Oh my beloved God and Savior, thank You that You have humbled and convicted me. My heart is broken and contrite. I truly thank You that You died for my sins as the Yom Kippur sacrifice and because of Your atoning blood and my humble repentant heart You have washed me clean. May I never take lightly such a great salvation. Please Holy Spirit, help me to diligently work out my salvation with fear and trembling knowing that You are a holy God and without holiness I can not be with You. Please forgive me for all the many ways that I sin against you in my words and deeds. You are holy and I fall so short of obedience to Your Commandments. Thank You, that You paid the price to deliver me from my sin through Your atoning blood that I might be seen and welcomed as holy and acceptable in Your sight. Thank you Yahshua [Jesus] for loving me so much that You died for me, taking my sins upon You, and clothing me in Your righteousness, so that I can be with You in Your kingdom. For the price You paid, I in return give my life to You, as a sacrifice on Your altar. Please fill me afresh with Your Spirit of grace and truth that will help me uphold Your blood by seeking and doing Your will in order to bring You the praise, honor, and glory that You deserve. Amen.

“To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever … Amen” (Revelation 5:13-14).

Introductory Insight to this New Series

This series is magnifying vital Biblical mandates, written by the Jewish apostles, specifically to Gentile believers in the Jewish Messiah. Sadly, many of these foundational Scriptures have not been taught or learned by a large percentage of Christians. The Almighty God says, “My people perish for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). Those who do not obey the holy commandments and perfect will of God are subject to His proclaimed sovereign judgments. We must “find out what pleases our God” and Savior and obey it (Ephesians 5:10).

Yahshua (Jesus) warned all the congregations [churches] in the Book of Revelation of their essential need to recognize their transgressions of righteousness, imploring them to repent and overcome their sins or be under severe eternal judgment. Yom Kippur, Yahveh’s appointed Day of Atonement, points to the necessity to repent not just once, but as often as needed. All outstanding sins must be confessed and atoned for, covered and removed by the cleansing blood by Yahshua (Jesus), the Lamb of God. The word atonement when looked at in segments, we see: at one ment. We can only have oneness with our holy God and Savior, when our sins are repented for and no longer separate us from Him. It is written, “Be holy because I am holy” and without holiness [obedience to righteousness] no one will see the Lord” in His Heavenly Kingdom. Therefore we must “repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Leviticus 19:2, Peter 1:16, Matthew 3:2).

A Mystery Revealed (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Yahveh, the Holy One of Israel sent His Son as the Messiah to the Jews first, to bring forth salvation for the praise, honor, and glory of His holy name. Through this initial remnant of redeemed Jews, salvation mercifully spread to multitudes of Gentiles worldwide. The great Apostle Paul (originally named Saul) proclaimed, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel [Good News of the Kingdom of Heaven], for it is the power of God for salvation to every one who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile” (Romans 1:16). Almighty God’s divine order of salvation “to the Jew first” requires and releases the fullest measure of truth built on the foundation of the pure biblical holy “Hebrew root” (Romans 11:17). Understanding Yahshua (Jesus) in His true identity, as the Jewish Messiah, brings the fullest “light of revelation to the Gentiles” (Luke 2:32). This bright light is essential to keep us on the “narrow path” following Yahshua (Jesus) who is “the way, truth, and life” (Matthew 7:13-14, John 14:6).

The Master Yahshua has commanded us, ’I HAVE PLACED YOU [the redeemed Jews] AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES, THAT YOU MAY BRING SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH’”
— Acts 13:47

Through the sacrificial cleansing blood of our Savior, and the power of His indwelling “Holy Spirit of truth”, a “new creation” of individual “born again” Jewish and Gentile faithful believers would become united as “one new man” (John 16:13, 2 Corinthians 5:17, John 3:3, Ephesians 2:14-16). This supernatural spiritual “new creation”, is also called “the body of Messiah”. Yahshua (Jesus) is “the head” and ruler over His spiritual body (Colossians 1:18). Each redeemed member is eternally vital for the will of our holy God and Savior to be accomplished “here on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). To reemphasize, it was through the God of Israel’s divine design, by the power of His Holy Spirit, that the message of “the kingdom of heaven” was spread to the foreign nations through His redeemed “chosen people the Jews” (Isaiah 41:8). The Messiah instructed His Jewish disciples saying, "this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations [Gentiles] …” (Matthew 24:14). This was fulfilling the prophecy in Zachariah, “Sing for joy and be glad, O daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” declares the Lord Yahveh. “And many nations [Gentiles] will join themselves to Yahveh the Lord in that day and will become My people” (Zechariah 2:10-11). Apostle Paul declares to his Gentile brethren in the faith,‘"For so the Master Yahshua has commanded us, ’I HAVE PLACED YOU [the redeemed Jews] AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES, THAT YOU MAY BRING SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH’" (Acts 13:47). For this I [Paul] was appointed a preacher and an apostle … as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.” He continued stating, “Yahshua (Jesus) stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear …” (1 Timothy 2:7, 2 Timothy 4:17).

The God of Israel had proclaimed in the Old Testament of a future time when the Gentiles, through faith in the Jewish Messiah, would be included in His plan of eternal salvation (see Isaiah 49:6). This prophetic mystery was fulfilled when Yahshua (Jesus) sacrificed His holy blood on the “tree of Calvary”, “breaking down the wall of separation” between His “chosen people” the Jews and the Gentiles who had been worshippers of foreign gods (Luke 23:33, Ephesians 2:14, Deuteronomy 7:6-8). The Most High God was proclaiming His mercy and grace to make a way for the Gentiles, “who were far away” from His covenant promises and eternal blessings (Ephesians 2:13). Apostle Paul, in his ministry to the Gentiles, urged them to remember* that previously they were excluded as spiritual outcasts. But now, through faith in the cleansing blood of Messiah, they were welcomed and included in the household of the righteous redeemed Jewish remnant.

The highest and purest praise should continually resound from the lips of all humble and grateful redeemed Gentiles as they remember their origins as foreigners excluded, but now through His mercy and grace, included in the household of God!”

Paul’s exhortation and admonition to the Gentiles is as important at the end of the age as it was at the beginning. These Scriptural words are vital mandates to take to heart, “Therefore remember that previously you, the Gentiles in the flesh, … remember that you were at that time separate from Messiah [Christ], excluded from the people of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Messiah Yahshua [Christ Jesus] you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Messiah … So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens together with the [Jewish] saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the [Jewish] apostles and [Jewish] prophets, Messiah Yahshua Himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you [the redeemed Gentiles] also are being built together [with redeemed Israel] into a dwelling of Yahveh God in the Spirit” (Ephesians 2:11-13,20-22). The highest and purest praise should continually resound from the lips of all humble and grateful redeemed Gentiles as they remember their origins as foreigners excluded, but now through His mercy and grace, included in the household of God!

Apostle Paul was aware of the weakness of human nature to be overcome with pride and self righteousness. With this concern and stewardship for the Gentiles coming to faith, Paul continues to stress this issue with similar words to impress upon their hearts and minds what Yahshua’s death accomplished for the Gentiles to be one with Israel. He emphasized this mystery, "which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, to be specific that the Gentiles are fellow heirs [together with] Israel and fellow members of the body and fellow partakers [with redeemed Israel] of the promise in Messiah Yahshua through the gospel” (Ephesians 3:5-6).

Remember the Heavenly Father’s infinite lovingkindness “to the Jews first and then to the Gentiles”, to send His Son, “to destroy the works of Satan” over our lives”
— Romans 1:16 & 1 John 3:8

Let us remember the Scripture says, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Both Jew and Gentile have all been born into an inherited sin nature, captive to Satan, whom Yahshua (Jesus) called “the ruler of this world” (John 12:31). Because of sin we were destined to be eternally separated from our holy Creator and God, with the consequences of sin leading us to Hell. Remember the Heavenly Father’s infinite lovingkindness “to the Jews first and then to the Gentiles”, to send His Son, “to destroy the works of Satan” over our lives (Romans 1:16, 1 John 3:8). Paul’s word of blessings and judgments are also to the Jews first, as it is written, “There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of mankind who does evil, for the Jew first and also for the Gentile, but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who does what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile” (Romans 2:9-10). Yahshua (Jesus), the Son of Yahveh God, the Jewish Messiah, was sent to earth to be born and to die in order to save our souls through the outpouring of His sacrificial blood, cleansing our repentant hearts from all confessed sin and unrighteousness. After the Savior’s resurrection, He sent His indwelling “Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth” that we would be a holy people serving and worshipping our Heavenly Father “in spirit and in truth” (John 16:13, 4:24).

Satan’s venom of poisonous lies of replacement theologies and anti Semitic (anti Jewish) attitudes and doctrines have been successfully injected into the bloodstream of predominantly Gentile Christianity. “Replacement theology” teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plans, prophecies, and blessings”

It is a sad actuality that there is only a small redeemed righteous remnant who live in the Spirit according to uncompromised truth, following their beloved Savior on the narrow path. They live to seek the will and Word of God and to be obedient to it at any cost. At the end of the age, it is a grievous and shocking reality that increasing multitudes of so called “believers” have fallen prey to rampant deception and have strayed far away from the narrow path, no longer following the true Jewish Messiah. Satan’s venom of poisonous lies of replacement theologies and anti Semitic (anti Jewish) attitudes and doctrines have been successfully injected into the bloodstream of predominantly Gentile Christianity. "Replacement theology" teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God's plans, prophecies, and blessings. Most professing “believers” are ignorant of much of the Old and New Testament and are equally unaware of Satan’s deceptive agenda throughout the centuries to the end of time. His diabolical strategies have resulted in a hybrid form of Christianity. This mutation has developed into what Apostle Paul warned would occur, “an empty form of religion that denies the power of the Holy Spirit”, who was divinely given to lead us to the knowledge and obedience of Biblical truth (see 2 Timothy 3:5). Our God and Creator, the author of the Scripture gave warning against any distortion, replacing, or deleting of His word. He said very adamantly, “You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it.” “Or He will rebuke you, and you will be proved a liar” (Deuteronomy 4:2, Proverbs 30:6). Yahveh says, “My people perish for a lack of knowledge” of the Word and will of God (Hosea 4:6). Let us remember Messiah’s words, “Satan is the father of lies”, he “comes to deceive the whole world” and “even the elect if possible” (John 8:44, Revelation 12:9, Matthew 24:24).

Remember, the redeemed Gentile remnant together with the redeemed Jewish remnant, is the revealed mystery - the “one new man” (Ephesians 2:14-16). In the true spiritual redeemed body of Yahshua (Jesus), the Gentiles apart from Israel, do not have a leg to stand on. Consequently, many professing believers are falling down and away from the uncompromised truth of the Jewish Messiah and the holy foundational Hebraic root of the true faith This has contributed to the prophesied “end time apostasy” that we are grievously witnessing, in and through much of global Christianity (see 2 Thessalonians 2:3). Thankfully, there is still a little time left to “work out our salvation” by “finding out what pleases our God” and Messiah according to His immutable Word (Philippians 2:12, Ephesians 5:10). We are not only at the end of the age but we are also nearing the “end of the age of the Gentiles” and the “set time to favor Zion [the Jews and Israel] is at hand (Luke 21:4, Psalm 102:13).

The revealed mystery, of Jew and Gentile becoming “one new man”, through the blood of the Lamb, should bring great joy to all humble Gentile believers who remember the mercy of the God of Israel to include them in His divine design, that both Jews and Gentiles together are recipients of His incomparable gift of salvation leading to eternal life. May our hearts be stirred to overflowing gratitude with the apostle’s fervent words, “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people [Israel].” And again, “Praise Yahveh all you Gentiles, And let all the peoples praise Him” (Romans 15:10-11).

* It is a noteworthy fact that 240 times in Scripture, our Heavenly Father, the God of Israel says, “REMEMBER!” In His infinite love and mercy, He reminds us, “don’t forget what I have said, what I have done, and what I will do.”

"Life From the Dead"

As the Almighty’s truth reveals the crooked foundations and bulging walls of man’s doctrines, we will begin to see a disparity between man’s religious agendas and Yahveh’s building program for a temple composed of Jewish and Gentile “living stones”
— 1Peter 2:5

The God of Israel and the Messiah’s uncompromised Word is as a “plumb line" in the hand of the Almighty. The Lord Yahveh was standing by a vertical wall with a plumb line in His hand …” He said to Amos, “Behold I am about to put a plumb line in the midst of My people Israel. I will not spare them any longer” (Amos 7:7-8). In essence Yahveh told Amos, “I want to show you what I am about to do, I am going to judge everything man has done in My name by putting the plumb line of My uncompromised truth by it and that which is not of Me and by Me for My glory is coming down under My judgments.” As the Almighty’s truth reveals the crooked foundations and bulging walls of man’s doctrines, we will begin to see a disparity between man’s religious agendas and Yahveh’s building program for a temple composed of Jewish and Gentile “living stones” (1Peter 2:5). Through a study of Romans 11, the flint knife of circumcision will continue to cut away the foreskin of man’s doctrines, which has covered our hearts and dulled our understanding of the Almighty’s sovereign will for a holy remnant. As it is written, “Circumcise yourselves to the LORD Yahveh, and take away the foreskins of your hearts,…Or else My wrath will spread like fire … Because of the evil of your deeds” (Jeremiah 4:4). So circumcise your heart, and do not stiffen your neck any longer” (Deuteronomy 10:16, also see Colossians 2:11).

The apostle Paul, a Jew of Jews, was sent to the Gentiles (non Jewish people), also called the uncircumcised, (Ephesians 2:11) to bring them the Messiah of Israel and all of His promised blessings. Paul knew well that ignorance, pride, jealousy, and hatred from the Gentiles toward the Jews were common attitudes among the non Jewish people. He perceived the potential for age-old anti-Semitic attitudes to grow back like an unholy foreskin over the newly circumcised hearts of these first Gentile converts.

Paul’s powerful admonitions to the Gentiles in Ephesians 2-3 and Romans 9-11 were written to destroy these latent anti-Jewish attitudes. Grievously, these are the very Scriptures that Satan’s anti Jewish agenda has attempted to eradicate from Christian theology. The church’s ignorance of these scriptural safeguards has allowed the perpetuation of various distorted doctrines and unbiblical attitudes toward Israel and Messiah’s own brethren, the Jewish people. Over the centuries, this has insidiously led to a very Gentilized form of Christianity, permeated with many man-made and pagan rooted customs and traditions, an unholy mixture of truth with falsehood, that have gone undetected by the majority of Gentile believers. He who is the “light of revelation to the Gentiles” is bringing this blessing of magnified truth, in order for the redeemed remnant of Gentiles to truly worship His Father, the Holy One of Israel, “in spirit and in truth” (Luke 2:32, John 4:24).

The fundamental truths in Ephesians 2-3 and Romans 11 were intended to provide a safeguard against Gentile hostility, arrogance, and indifference toward the Jews that they were blessed to become one with as a new creation called “one new man”
— Ephesians 2:12,14-16

As mentioned earlier, Yahveh has always used remembrance as a divine method of ensuring His people’s obedience. In Ephesians 2-3 and Romans 11, He reminds the messianic Gentiles of their humble origins as aliens from His eternal promises. These fundamental truths were intended to provide a safeguard against Gentile hostility, arrogance, and indifference toward the Jews that they were blessed to become one with as a new creation called “one new man” (Ephesians 2:12,14-16). (See previous teaching called “Remember the Revealed Mystery” for greater understanding of this essential teaching). Apostle Paul prefaces this vital message to the Gentiles by bearing his heart regarding His Jewish brethren. He tells the Romans, “I am telling the truth in Messiah … my conscience bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Messiah for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the temple service and the promises …“ (Romans 9:1-4). Paul continues, “Brethren, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God for them [the Israelites] is for their salvation” (Romans 10:1). Paul wanted the Gentiles to share with him the deep love of Messiah; he was emphasizing that through the Jews all the nations of the earth have been mightily blessed. Love and appreciation for the Jewish people were pulsating through his heart, a love so deep that if it were possible, he would have forfeited his own salvation in order to save some of his kindred of the house of Israel.

I say then, the Lord Yahveh has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! [Yahveh forbid!] For I too am an Israelite … Yahveh has not rejected His people …” In other words, the sovereign Creator and God of Israel said, “it is impossible, I will never reject my beloved chosen people Israel. Never, never, never!”
— Romans 11:1-2

Following this passionate expression of his feelings for the beloved of Messiah, for whom “He came first and foremost”, Paul addresses a question that had arisen in the minds of the new Gentile believers. Was the Almighty finished with His chosen race, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob because they rejected their Messiah? “I say then, the Lord Yahveh has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! [Yahveh forbid!] For I too am an Israelite … Yahveh has not rejected His people …” (Romans 11:1-2). As a biblical scholar and Pharisee, Paul was extremely knowledgeable and familiar with the words of the ancient prophets, who continually emphasized the Almighty’s unchangeable love and eternal plan for His firstborn people the Jews. “This is what the Lord Yahveh says: “If the heavens above can be measured And the foundations of the earth searched out below, Then I will also reject all the descendants of Israel For everything that they have done,” declares the Lord Yahveh. (Jeremiah 31:37). In other words, the sovereign Creator and God of Israel said, “it is impossible, I will never reject my beloved chosen people Israel. Never, never, never!” Paul also knew that in the book of Isaiah, Yahveh asked: “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you [Israel]. Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me” (Isaiah 49:15-16).

As the light of pure biblical truth pierces the darkness of man’s traditions, let us continue in Romans: “I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them [the Jewish people] jealous” (Romans 11:11). It is interesting to note that this Scripture, if taught at all, is usually conveyed only in part. Satan’s strategies have succeeded in obscuring the most vital part of this sentence. Perhaps this phrase sounds familiar to you: “Rather, [because] of their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles.” This portion of Scripture, taken out of context, leads to a deceptive theology that fosters ignorance and Gentile pride to rise up against the Jewish people.

Was it God’s plan that the Gentiles could replace Israel in Yahveh’s heart and eternal plan? No and never! This is a lie from Satan “the father of lies” and the author of anti Semitism (hostility to or prejudice against the Jewish people) and replacement theology (a teaching that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plans, prophecies, and blessings)”
— John 8:44

The truth is this: many of Messiah’s Jewish brethren were blinded and rejected Him according to Yahveh’s God’s plan that the Gentiles would have the opportunity to receive salvation. Was it God’s plan that the Gentiles could replace Israel in Yahveh’s heart and eternal plan? No and never! This is a lie from Satan “the father of lies” and the author of anti Semitism (hostility to or prejudice against the Jewish people) and replacement theology (a teaching that the church has replaced Israel in God's plans, prophecies, and blessings) (John 8:44). Rather, the redeemed Gentiles received with their salvation a divine mandate to be the holy instruments by which the Jews would be lovingly and mercifully drawn to their Messiah, Yahshua (Jesus) (Romans 11:11). Paul, the apostle to the former pagans goes on to say, “Now if their [the Jews] transgression [in rejecting their Messiah] be riches for the world and their failure be riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be! But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. For if their rejection be the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” (Romans 11:12-15) As much as the great apostle loved all people, his primary hope in ministering to the Gentiles was that the Gospel would flow through their humble hearts as a river of life, drawing his Jewish brethren to their Messiah. He understood the mystery and master plan of Yahveh God’s infinite mercy. This master plan in no way implies that the salvation of the Gentiles is any less important to Yahveh, the God of Israel, than the redemption of His first-born Jewish people.

The Jews’ rejection of Yahshua (Jesus) was the catalyst for the prophesied “early rains,” the outpouring of the Ruach HaKodesh, the Spirit of Truth, which brought the great harvest of Gentiles into His kingdom. Greater yet, the Jews’ acceptance of Messiah will be as the outpouring of the “latter rains” — (see Deuteronomy 11:14; Jeremiah 5:24; Joel 2:23)—which will be such a mighty outpouring of the riches of His glory, blessings, and salvation that Paul called it “life from the dead” (Romans 11:15) … REVIVAL!

Holy Root, Holy Fruit

Holy Root - Holy Fruit (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

As Apostle Paul’s mandate to the Gentiles continues, he refers to Israel as a “thriving olive tree” (see Romans 11 and Jeremiah 11:16). This tree is of a holy Hebrew root, having originated with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Paul writes: “… if the root be holy, the branches are too. But if some of the branches were broken off, and you [the Gentiles], being a wild olive, were grafted in among them [the Jews] and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree [the nourishing sap], do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the [Hebrew] root supports you [the engrafted Gentile branches].” You will say then, “Branches [the Jews] were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; for if Yahveh God did not spare the natural branches, neither will He spare you” (Romans 11:16-21).

Many of the “engrafted Gentile branches” have become detached from the ancient biblical Jewish root system”

These scriptural mandates to believers from Gentile backgrounds are foundational and not optional for all who truly seek to be obedient, holy, and pleasing to the Most High God and Messiah. The apostle’s warning to Gentiles against self-righteousness and conceit is not to be taken lightly. Many Christians throughout the centuries have not known these fundamental truths concerning the Hebrew root. The Mighty One of Israel warns, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). As a result of this ignorance and Gentile pride and supremacy, many of the “engrafted Gentile branches” have become detached from the ancient biblical Jewish root system. They have not received the spiritual vitality of its original nourishing sap. Consequently, much of Gentile Christianity, is producing unholy fruit that has detracted from the glory of the holy olive tree. This is a defamation to the outpoured blood of our Savior who died that the foreign Gentiles, together with beloved Israel, would become the redeemed righteous remnant called “one new man”, rooted and established on the Biblical holy Hebraic root (Ephesians 2:14-16). Only then, can the God of Israel receive praise, honor, and glory for the immeasurable sacrifice of His Son’s life that purchased the two to become united as one in Messiah, “a mystery revealed” (Ephesians 3:3) See also the teaching “Remember, the Revealed Mystery” posted at the beginning of this series. The Holy Spirit is urging the redeemed “wild” olive branches to attach themselves to the holy root. Any branch not directly attached to the holy root will not receive the fullness of its nourishing sap and will inevitably dry and wither. Such a branch will never bear sumptuous spiritual fruit that glorifies the Creator and attracts perishing souls.

At the close of the Gentile age, many engrafted wild olive branches are in jeopardy of being cut off. Paul warned that arrogance would be the fatal blow to these engrafted Gentiles, who haughtily believe that they have replaced the natural Jewish branches.

Beware of Arrogance!

Choose Life Over Death (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Ruth is a praise worthy and exemplary Gentile highlighted in the Scripture. She stands as an example to all non Jewish people who come to faith in the Jewish Messiah. As a young Gentile widow her famous words to her Jewish mother-in-law were, “where you go, I will go … Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God” (Ruth 1:16). Because of that heartbeat, she became one with Israel, the great grandmother of King David, and part of the recorded lineage through which our Jewish Messiah was born (Matthew 1:5). This is a perfect biblical example of the righteous heartbeat of a Gentile for the God of Israel and His chosen Jewish people. This humble attitude, like Ruth, is required in order for the Gentiles to truly “worship in spirit and in truth”, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob together with redeemed Israel on the holy Hebraic root (John 4:24, Romans 11:17-18).

The great Hebrew apostle Paul, continues his admonitions to Gentile believers with a double warning against pride. “Behold then the kindness and severity of Yahveh; to those [the unbelieving Jews] who fell, severity, but to you [Gentiles], Yahveh’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness [toward the chosen Jewish people, guarding your heart against Satan’s hatred towards them]; otherwise you also will be cut off. … For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more shall these [the Jews] who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree?” (Romans 11:22-24) Working in an olive grove, the practice is to graft cultivated olive branches into a wild olive tree, in order to improve the fruit of the wild olive. If the wild olive is grafted into the cultivated olive tree, the effect is reverse; the cultivated olive will run to wildness. Paul was well aware of the risk of grafting the Gentiles into the holy olive tree because it was “contrary to nature.” Paul warned that the engrafted branches that do not take their nourishing sap from the holy root will eventually become withered; they will be fruitless branches, destined to be cut off as the natural branches (the Jews) are grafted back into their holy olive tree. To the church at Galatia, Paul wrote, “There is neither Jew nor Greek [Gentile], there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Messiah Yahshua (Jesus)” (Galatians 3:28). This passage does not negate the fact that Paul wrote of specific roles for males, females, Jews, and Gentiles within the body of Messiah. The Gentiles have been given a specific biblical mandate that is a safeguard against anti-Jewish attitudes, as well as a debt of obedience owed to their Jewish Savior.

The “engrafted branches” are to remember their hopeless condition as aliens apart from the God of Israel and His promises (Ephesians 2:12 see previous teaching on “Remember the Mystery Revealed”). They are to co-labor humbly with Yahshua (Jesus), the Great Shepherd, who is gathering His “lost sheep of the house of Israel” back to their God (Matthew 15:24). The engrafted branches are to gratefully and lovingly provoke the Jews to envy as they wholeheartedly embrace the holy Hebrew root, receive its nourishing sap, and worship the God of Israel in the reverence and holiness due His name (Romans 11:11).

“Do not be arrogant [deceived to think that Gentile Christianity has replaced the Jews in God’s heart] … it is not you who supports the root, but the [Hebrew] root supports you”
— Romans 11:18

The redeemed “wild olive branches” are to reflect Yahveh’s great mercy—the mercy He showed the Gentiles as He risked polluting the purity and strength of His holy olive tree when He grafted them in. To this point in Christian history, so many believers from Gentile backgrounds have neglected or ignored this vital mandate. It is time for a redeemed, humble remnant to tap into the biblically pure holy Hebrew root in order to become spiritually healthy olive branches. Let all Gentile engrafted branches “humble yourselves before God so that He can lift you up” (see James 4:10). You must prayerfully search and guard your hearts against any Gentile supremacy of pride, hostility, and inherited insidious anti-Semitism, which makes you an enemy to the God of Israel and the Jewish Messiah, the very God and Savior you profess to love and worship. Many of you will be in harm’s way, if you do not remember you came from an unholy root when you were foreigners apart from the God of Israel. Do not forget the warning of apostle Paul, “do not be arrogant [deceived to think that Gentile Christianity has replaced the Jews in God’s heart] … it is not you who supports the root, but the [Hebrew] root supports you” (Romans 11:18).

To add to your list of remembrance it is written, “Now, therefore, you [Gentiles] are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints [the redeemed Jews] and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the [Jewish] apostles and [Jewish] prophets, Yahshua [the Jewish] Messiah Himself being the chief cornerstone, … in whom you also are being built together [with the redeemed Jews] for a dwelling place of God [who is the Holy One of Israel] … ” (Ephesians 2:19-22). This is the holy foundation. If you remove any of this, it is a distorted unholy foundation and it will not stand. “Judgment has already begun, as prophesied by Peter, at the household of God” (see 1 Peter 4:17). Remember! Remember! Remember! It is a safeguard against every evil tactic that wants to rob the Gentile believers of the holy “nourishing sap”, which is the fullness of the “riches of His glory” poured upon, in, and through the “one new man”, Jew and Gentile together, united as one in “the body of Messiah” (Romans 11:17, Philippians 4:19, Ephesians 2:14-16, 1 Corinthians 12:27).

The devious satanic agenda to move the original Messianic faith off of it’s Hebraic root, has resulted in a hybrid mutated form of Christianity, that does resemble the true Messiah or His true gospel message”

Satan has strategically accomplished a mighty successful diabolical work by slyly moving the original Messianic faith off of it’s holy Hebraic root, the ancient foundation of Biblical truth. This most devious agenda opened the door for more and more deception to flood in and distort the truth, resulting in a hybrid mutated form of Christianity, that does resemble the true Messiah, the true gospel, or the original messianic faith. It is an unholy mixture of truth and falsehood. The apostles continually warned of deception and “the great apostasy-falling away” that would inevitably come and undermine the complete purpose for which Yahshua (Jesus) shed His holy blood on the “tree of Calvary” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, Luke 23:33). Apostle Paul was very specific in warning that there would be “seducing spirits”, “salvage wolves” “distorting the truth”, “doctrines of demons” bringing “another Yahshua (Jesus)” and "another gospel” “another spirit” and it is actually part of the anti messiah (antichrist) spirit that the apostles warned were working in their day (1 Timothy 4:1, Acts 20:29-30, 2 Corinthians 11:4). As it is written, “just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared” (1 John 2:18). At the close of the age this has left multitudes in Christianity, not only deceived but in a very precarious and vulnerable place of deception that will dupe many “professing believers” into following the ultimate anti messiah spirit (anti-christ). His agenda is manifesting worldwide, setting the stage for his prophesied appearing and global rulership.

The Covenant of Blessings or Curses

I Will Bless Those Who Bless My People (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

The biblical knowledge of the God of Israel’s plan for the Jews and Gentiles to become a “born again” supernatural creation called “one new man” has been ignored and overlooked by most preachers, teachers, and believers (Ephesians 2:14-18). Sadly, most professing believers are unaware of this reality and are very vulnerable to believe Satan’s lies and harbor his anti Semitic venom, endorsing and perpetuating "replacement theology”, which teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God's plans, prophecies, and blessings. All those who truly love and obey the Jewish Messiah must guard their hearts from any anti-Semitic attitudes towards their Savior’s very own beloved brethren, for whom He came “first and foremost” (Matthew 15:24). To repeat, Apostle Paul emphasized this to his Gentile brethren in the faith by highlighting the reality that the Jewish people are the God of Israel’s chosen race. He proclaimed, “I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Messiah for the sake of my countrymen, my kinsmen according to the flesh,“to whom belongs the adoption as sons and daughters, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the Law, the temple service, and the promises; whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Messiah according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen” (Romans 9:4-5).

We are in the most critical time on the face of the earth and “approaching the time such as never was and will never be again”
— Matthew 24:21

We are in the most critical time on the face of the earth and “approaching the time such as never was and will never be again” (see Matthew 24:21). This is called “the tribulation” and “the time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7). Even now, anti-Semitic propaganda is increasing daily, stirring up global hatred for Israel and the Jewish people. Grievously, there are many Gentile believers who embrace and perpetuate Satan’s hatred toward the Jewish people. This will reach a crescendo of fury in these last days causing “all the Gentile nations of the earth to turn against Israel, both His “chosen people” and His holy land. Yahveh spoke through the prophet Zechariah, “It will come about on that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it [move it out of Israel’s possession] will injure themselves severely. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it” (Zechariah 12:3).

Yahveh God said, … “I WILL BLESS THOSE WHO BLESS YOU, AND THE ONE WHO CURSES YOU I WILL CURSE. AND IN YOU ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH WILL BE BLESSED”
— Genesis 12:3

With this progressive reality in mind, the Spirit of truth is reminding us of the sovereign covenant that the God of Israel made with Abraham. Yahveh God said, … “I WILL BLESS THOSE WHO BLESS YOU, AND THE ONE WHO CURSES YOU I WILL CURSE. AND IN YOU ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH WILL BE BLESSED” (Genesis 12:3). The One True God, our Heavenly Father, is the Holy One of Israel who sovereignly decreed His covenant of promised blessings and curses on the Gentiles regarding their attitudes and treatment of Abraham, his descendants Isaac and Jacob, and all of their descendants, the Jewish race. This sovereign covenant, contrary to much erroneous Christian theology, did not end with the coming of the Jewish Messiah. This everlasting covenant will continue to the end of the age, blessings on those who bless the Jews, curses on those who curse the Jews, regardless of your profession of faith in the Living God and Savior. Through Yahshua (Jesus), we are given an even greater responsibility because we have the Jewish Messiah living in our heart. Those who are truly born-again, and filled with the holy Spirit will naturally be led to love the God of Israel, respect His sovereign covenant, and prayerfully look for loving ways to bless the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. They will not fall prey to this deluge of ancient anti-Semitism because they love their Jewish Messiah who “is the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). He has not and never will reject His beloved chosen Jewish people in His plan of salvation.

We must bless the Jewish people by letting them see the love of their Jewish Messiah living in and through our redeemed obedient lives”

We are at a transition at the end of the age of the Gentiles, that has moved toward “the set time to favor Zion”-Israel (Psalm 102:13). Let us be joined as one walking in agreement with the Word and will of God in every way, including His love, plan, and purpose for His beloved Jewish people. “Satan comes to rob, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10), he will harm Yahveh’s Jewish people and Yahveh’s redeemed Gentiles in one fell blow. Gentile believers who are anti-Semitic and embrace replacement theology are equally harming themselves with the curses of the Abrahamic covenant as they harm the Jewish people by not blessing them. We who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, must uphold, love, and worship Yahshua (Jesus), the King of the Jews, and Lion of the Tribe of Judah, “in Spirit and in truth” (John 4:23). We must bless the Jewish people by letting them see the love of their Jewish Messiah living in and through our redeemed obedient lives. We are to pray for “the peace of Jerusalem”, which only the “prince of peace” Yahshua (Jesus) will bring when He comes as the all conquering “King of kings” (Psalm 122:6, Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 17:14).

Yahshua (Jesus) said there are only a few who find the narrow path but the many go through the broad path of accepting what has been handed down and what seems right”
— Matthew 7:13-14

The Holy Spirit will not dwell in lives that embrace Satan’s theologies, lies, and pernicious poisons of anti-Semitism. The prevalent mentality of replacement theology, throughout much of Christian history to this day, is exactly what Apostle Paul warned against. Paul exclaimed to the Gentile believers, “God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! [God forbid!]” (Romans 11:1) "For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in …” (Romans 11:25). It is becoming increasingly obvious to many that we are at the end of the age. Additionally we are at the end of the age of Gentile Christianity that has become exceedingly apostate, falling further and further away from the holy biblical root system. Thankfully, there is always a righteous remnant who search the Scriptures to learn the Word and will of the God of Israel and the Messiah. They remain on the holy root system, bearing holy fruit. They have maintained the cause of pure doctrinal truth and righteousness. Yahshua (Jesus) said there are only a few who find the narrow path but the many go through the broad path of accepting what has been handed down and what seems right (Matthew 7:13-14). It is written, “There is a way which seems right to people, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12).

Hear the heart of the Almighty, “They have not listened to and honored My words,’ says Yahveh” (Jeremiah 29:19). “In the last days you will clearly understand it. I did not send these prophets [or preachers] … I did not speak to them, but they prophesied. But if they had stood in My council, then they would have announced My words to My people, and would have turned them back from their evil way and from the evil of their deeds …You will no longer remember the oracle of Yahveh [the Lord], because every man's own word will become the oracle, and you have perverted the words of the living God, Yahveh of hosts, our God”(Jeremiah 23:20-22, 36).

This has been Satan’s successful agenda and stealthy strategy causing increasing deception to replace biblical truth with many man made doctrines tainted with pagan rooted traditions”

Listen to Apostle Peter’s warning, “there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, …” (2 Peter2:1). He was warning them about being on guard lest you fall away, which is apostasy, moving from the holy root of the faith onto an unholy root of falsehood. All apostasy stems from departing from the holy root of biblical truth and being deceived and established in error on an unholy root system, unholy because it is a mixture of truth with falsehood. This has been Satan’s successful agenda and stealthy strategy causing increasing deception to replace biblical truth with many man made doctrines tainted with pagan rooted traditions. It is written, Yahshua (Jesus) said “If anyone does not remain in Me [in the Spirit of truth], he is thrown away like a branch and dries up; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned” (John 15:6). We must be firmly established in the uncompromised Word and will of God or we will be drawn farther and farther away, until we become as dry, withered, fruitless, branches.

reject falsehood

A “form of godliness [religion]”, apart from the Holy Spirit, becomes a self righteous religious spirit because it is not rooted in the Hebraic root of the Word of God and is not worshipping our Father, the God of Israel, “in spirit and in truth”
— 2 Timothy 3:5 & John 4:24

Yom Kippur, which is the Day of Atonement, is the time for sincere repentance, not just for the Jews, but also for the redeemed Gentiles. Through this section of teachings, the Holy Spirit is speaking to the beloved Gentile “ingrafted wild olive branches” who have forgotten to “remember” Paul’s admonitions and warnings specifically spoken to them (Romans 11:17). Many vital biblical mandates have gone untaught and unheeded. This left an open door for “replacement theologies” and man-made doctrines and traditions to indeed replace much biblical truth. This undetected deceptive agenda of Satan, perpetuated falsehood from generation to generation. Inevitably, this has led to a prevalence of empty “forms of religion”, no longer based on the Holy Root and ancient foundation of biblical truth (2 Timothy 3:5, Romans 11:18). Yahveh God prophesied through Jeremiah of a time of rampant deception that would result in great spiritual apostasy, the falling away and departure from biblical truth at the end of the age. He said, “The Gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Surely our fathers have inherited lies, worthlessness and unprofitable things” (Jeremiah 16:19). This “form of godliness [religion]”, apart from the Holy Spirit, becomes a self righteous religious spirit because it is not rooted in the Hebraic root of the Word of God and is not worshipping our Father, the God of Israel, “in spirit and in truth” (2 Timothy 3:5, John 4:24).

In his loving obedience to be “a minister of Messiah Yahshua to the Gentiles”, Paul proclaimed to them his commission - “that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.” Paul continued saying that this will result “in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed” (Romans 15:16,18b). He cautioned them to be on guard against Satan’s schemes of deception. Paul was exhorting them to take heed and be on guard against inherent anti-Semitic, Gentile supremacy, against the Holy One of Israel’s Jewish people, whom they are blessed to be united together with as “one new man”. This “revealed mystery” is to continually ascend as praises, honor, and glory to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and His Son, “the Lamb of God” who takes away, covers, and forgives our repentant sins (Ephesians 3:6, 2:14-16, John 1:29). HalleluYAH!

Apostle Paul was shown that the Enemy would come in like “savage wolves”, “evil men and imposters who will precede from bad to worse deceiving and being deceived” “distorting the truth”
— Acts 20:29, 2 Timothy 3:13 & Galatians 1:7

The Apostle was well aware that Satan would try to deceive the Gentiles by taking them off the holy Hebraic root, replacing pure biblical truth with distortions and man made traditions. Paul was shown that the Enemy would come in like “savage wolves”, “evil men and imposters who will precede from bad to worse deceiving and being deceived” “distorting the truth” (Acts 20:29, 2 Timothy 3:13, Galatians 1:7). He explained, “It is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light; Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants [and preachers] of righteousness” through “seducing spirits” and “doctrines of demons” (2 Corinthians 11:14, 1 Timothy 4:1). Paul was grieved that many of the Gentiles would become compromised and leave Yahshua (Jesus), their “first love” and would no longer seek and obey the pure Word and will of their God and Savior (Revelation 2:4). With great sorrowful discernment, he said, “the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but … they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, and they will turn their ears away from the truth” (2 Peter 4:3-4) Consequently, the holy root and foundation of their faith would be polluted with Satan’s inspired man-made doctrines and traditions.

The pervasive deception that the Gentiles have replaced the Jews in the God of Israel’s biblical will and eternal plan of salvation is nothing less than a blatant satanic lie that so many have fallen prey to and have pridefully believed”
— Romans 11:23

Paul previewed how anti Semitism would take a deceptive form called “replacement theology”. The lie of replacement theology, is truly a camouflaged anti-messiah spirit becoming more and more prevalent throughout the Gentile age of professing believers. The pervasive deception that the Gentiles have replaced the Jews in the God of Israel’s biblical will and eternal plan of salvation is nothing less than a blatant satanic lie that so many have fallen prey to and have pridefully believed. Additionally, “replacement theology” points to many replacements of the holy Hebraic biblical root with an unholy paganized root system, such as replacing the biblical Holy Days with traditions, customs, and unholy days of the pagans in the worship of their gods. This root is an unholy mixture of truth and falsehood. These hard realities are not to be offensive to any person or background because in Messiah we are one. “The Spirit of truth” is pointing out we have an Enemy and he has worked insidiously in and through Christianity. Shockingly this systemic poison of “replacement theology”, at this late hour, has infected a vast majority of Christianity and its various denominations worldwide. The Lord Yahveh said, “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, [replace it]” “or I will prove you a liar”. (Deuteronomy 4:2, Proverbs 30:6) Yahshua (Jesus) said, “no one who practices falsehood will enter His messianic kingdom” whose twelve gates, have written on them “the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel” and on the twelve foundation stones of the New Jerusalem are written, “the twelve names of the twelve [Jewish] apostles of the Lamb.” (Revelations 21:12,14 22:15). Gentile pride has stood so long, so strong, and so wrong, that many Gentiles believers will must rise up in righteous indignation to fight with repentance against this inherited deception that “rises up against the knowledge of the one true God and Savior” and His divine design for salvation for both Jew and Gentile (2 Corinthians 10:5).

"You Say You Are Alive But you are Dead"

Indeed, the Serpent did deceive many Gentile believers over the ages”

As much as Paul loved His Gentile brethren in Messiah, he said “… inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I may move my own [Jewish] people to jealousy and save some of them” (Romans 11:13-14). Paul also loved the Gentiles with the love of Yahshua (Jesus) who died for them. As the chosen Jewish apostle to the Gentile believers, he expressed the purposes for which he was sent specifically to them. His voice spoke then and continues to speak through the centuries to this generation of non Jewish believers, “I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to [the Jewish] Messiah. But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Messiah” (2 Corinthians 11:2-3). Indeed, the Serpent did deceive many Gentile believers over the ages.

Messiah said, “If you love Me you will obey Me and you will do the will of My Father” (See John 14:15). So many have not intimately known the true God and Savior because they did not “hunger and thirst for righteousness” and they “took lightly such a great salvation” and “trampled the blood” of the Lamb rather than upholding it though obedient righteous living (Matthew 5:6, Hebrews 2:3, 10:29). Many newborn spiritual babies did not “crave the pure spiritual milk of the word” and never developed an appetite for the meat of the word (1 Peter 2:2). Consequently, they stay in the flesh they don’t develop spiritually, and they have a superficial knowledge tainted with doctrinal error. They never mature spiritually bearing the image of the Savior and therefore they cannot fulfill the Father’s perfect will, “to worship Him in Spirit and uncompromised truth” (John 4:24). Yahshua’s words spoken to the religious leaders and people of His day speak loudly to our hearts in this time of spiritual apostasy. He proclaimed, “These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”(Matthew 15:8-9).

Do we mourn for the ones who are dying physically or do we mourn over the ones who are dying spiritually?

The churches are filled with so many malnourished undeveloped believers in our God and Savior. What a grief to the Heavenly Father and what an eternal loss for multitudes who are clueless that they are deceived by a counterfeit religious spirit that is leading multitudes on “the broad path of destruction”. Yahshua (Jesus) emphatically stated, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). The Heavenly Father has great sorrows, as He looks at the overall church system and sees a spiritual morgue filled with multitudes of believers who never grew up in the Spirit and died in the flesh. “Flesh and blood does not enter the kingdom” and they will not (1 Corinthians 15:50). Do we mourn for the ones who are dying physically or do we mourn over the ones who are dying spiritually?

Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is Near (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Yahshua (Jesus) in speaking to the various congregations in the book of Revelation said, ’I know your deeds, that you have a name [you belong to a church you say you are a believer in God you say] that you are alive, but you are dead. Be constantly alert, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. So remember what you have received and heard [see the chapter “Remember!”]; and keep it, and repent. Then if you are not alert, I will come like a thief, … But you have a few people … who have not soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. The one who overcomes will be clothed the same way, in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the [Yom Kippur] book of life” (Revelation 3:1-5).

There are many who have been taught erroneously and have been ignorant of certain biblical mandates, yet you love Him. It is not too late, the blood is on the heavenly altar. “Yahveh is merciful” and “Yahshua (Jesus) is full of truth and grace”. He says compassionately but powerfully, “Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man [Yahshua, the Jewish Messiah] whom He has appointed …” (Ephesians 2:4, John 1:14, Acts 17:30-31).

Therefore let us heed these words of Yahshua (Jesus), Repent, repent “repent, for the kingdom of heaven, is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). “Even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” Therefore, take heed you must “bear fruit in keeping with true repentance” (Matthew 3:10. 3:8).

Replacement Theology, an Enemy to truth!

At this appointed time of Yom Kippur, a time for “godly sorrow that leads to true repentance”, the Holy Spirit is magnifying some very vital Scriptural mandates that have not been taught and embraced in Christianity and must be acknowledged as the irrefutable Word of God (2 Corinthians 7:10). The Lord Yahveh says “… to this one I will look, to one who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word” (Isaiah 66:2). Yahshua (Jesus) “is the light of revelation to the Gentiles” and He is shining a bright light on scriptural mandates that He spoke directly to all Gentile believers (John 16:8). Many of these Scriptures have been deleted, ignored, untaught, and replaced with erroneous doctrines, tainted with anti Jewish attitudes, pagan rooted customs resulting in man-made religious traditions. Yahveh’s word never changes, He strongly cautions us, “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of Yahveh your God that I give you” (Deuteronomy 4:2).

Listen to Apostle Peter’s admonition, “Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position” (2 Peter 3:17). Our repentance must address all anti-Semitism and its deceptive forms of “replacement theology”* that come up against the Word and will of our holy God and Savior, and the Hebraic root of our faith.

May the light of the Holy Spirit “convict us of sin, righteousness and judgment to come” …” (John 16:8). Yahshua (Jesus) is “the light of the world” (John 12:8). “If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another [redeemed Jews and Gentile united together on the holy biblical Hebraic root], and the blood of Yahshua [Jesus] His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us” (1 John 1:6-10).

Do not be deceived, do not rise up against the biblical knowledge of the holy root of your faith and the ancient foundation of biblical truth, both are Hebraic through and through from beginning to end”

Sin separates us from the Holy One of Israel (Isaiah 59:2). At this critical time at the end of this age, things are changing dramatically as all can see. We also see a major transformation of Christianity no longer being “the salt and the light” because of so much compromise (Matthew 5:13-16). At the end of the age of the Gentile church system, the Holy Spirit is loudly sounding the shofar with biblical truth to get our attention (see Romans 11:25). He says in Isaiah “Cry loudly, do not hold back; Raise your voice like a trumpet and declare to My people their transgression … their sins” (Isaiah 58:1). These teachings are magnifying the messages that have been given in Messiah’s love to help His beloved redeemed Gentile children understand certain scriptural truths that are vital to their holy walk with their God and Savior. He is saying, “Do not be arrogant toward the [original Jewish] branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you” (Romans 11:18). Do not be deceived, do not rise up against the biblical knowledge of the holy root of your faith and the ancient foundation of biblical truth, both are Hebraic through and through from beginning to end.

There is one God, and He the Mighty One of Israel, there is one Savior, who the Jewish Messiah, and there is one heavenly messianic kingdom that is “coming down from heaven”, whose twelve gates, have written on them “the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel” and on the twelve foundation stones of the New Jerusalem are written, “the twelve names of the twelve [Jewish] apostles of the Lamb” (Revelation 21:2,12-14). No one can enter those eternal holy gates who are harboring any seeds of falsehood, attitudes, or actions that come from the unholy satanic root of anti Semitism and replacement theology. Yahshua (Jesus) made this horrifying reality very clear by declaring, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ (Matthew 7:21-23)

Any professing believer who becomes arrogant against the holy Hebraic root and the Jewish people will find themselves fighting against the very God and Savior they profess to know and love. They will be in great danger as Paul warned of being “cut off more quickly than the original Jewish branches” (See Romans 11:22). Take heed, “GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE” (James 4:6). It is written, “Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin” (James 4:17). “For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment … It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:26-27,31). The Holy One of Israel, loves all of His children, but will not break His sovereign covenant of blessings and curses upon those who “bless or curse the Jewish people”. Anyone who “adds, deletes, or replaces His Word” is inevitably embracing and spreading lies, which is of Satan, whom Yahshua (Jesus) said, “is the father of lies.” Do not be deceived, “no lie is of the truth” (Genesis 12:3, Deuteronomy 4:2, 1 John 2:21, John 1:16, 8:44).

May you be firmly established on the holy Hebraic biblical roots of your faith, never to move from your “secure position” in the presence of the One who redeemed and united both Jew and Gentile as “one new man”, a holy people for His praise, honor, and glory”
— 2 Peter 3:17 & Ephesians 2:14-16

The Biblical fall feasts prophetically point to the end of the age, which we are in, and the inescapable urgency to repent of all sin in order to avert all judgments due to sin and sinners. There is a mercy seat in the heavenly temple where the blood of Yahshua (Jesus) the Lamb, in grace and infinite love, is instantly available to all who come humbly in true repentance of sin. This is the utmost love of the God of Israel, who gave His Son, so that we, both Jew and Gentile, can come boldly before the throne of grace to receive the ultimate mercy of the Lamb’s atoning blood covering and cleansing us of repentant sins and adorning us in the righteousness of Yahshua (Jesus) Messiah. Only then will we be welcomed into the presence of the Most High King of Glory, the Holy One of Israel, blessed be His name Yahveh forever and forever! Holy, Holy, Holy, is Yahveh God Almighty! (Revelation 4:8,11) His very life changing glorious presence will change you from glory to glory that you bear more and more of the likeness of your Jewish Messiah Yahshua. May you be firmly established on the holy Hebraic biblical roots of your faith, never to move from your “secure position” in the presence of the One who redeemed and united both Jew and Gentile as “one new man”, a holy people for His praise, honor, and glory (2 Peter 3:17, Ephesians 2:14-16). Yahveh, the Holy One of Israel and Yahshua (Jesus), the Risen King of kings and Messiah, is beckoning us from on high to come boldly to the mercy seat, the altar of repentance, “beseeching us to present our bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is our spiritual service of worship” that is due to Him for all that He has done for us (Romans 12:1). Therefore let us heed these words of Yahshua (Jesus), Repent, repent “repent, for the kingdom of heaven, is at hand” (Matthew 4:17).

A Prayer of Repentance for Gentile Pride

It is vital that we seek to know and do the will of our God and Savior because, “There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death” “but those who do the will of God live forever” (Proverbs 13:12, 1 John 2:17). Time is short and “the Holy Spirit is convicting us of sin, righteousness and judgment to come”. The Eternal Righteous God is proclaiming, “there is a time of ignorance that God overlooks, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man [Yahshua/Jesus] He has appointed” (John 16:8, Acts 17:30-31). Like a loud trumpet (shofar) His Word is proclaiming , “now is the day of salvation if you hear His voice do not harden your heart” (2 Corinthians 6:2). We have included a prayer for those who feel the convicting power of the Holy Spirit and have a compelling desire to repent for not knowing and upholding the biblical mandates magnified through this series. May Yahveh, the Holy One of Israel, through Yahshua (Jesus) the Messiah, bless you with the power of His atoning, delivering, cleansing blood and clothe you in His righteousness.

Prayer and Repentance Thumbnail (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Yahveh, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, You sovereignly promised in Genesis 12:3 to bless anyone who blesses and to curse anyone who curses Your people, Israel. You’re a just King, Lawgiver and Judge, and You will act in righteousness. Your blessings and curses will show no favoritism; they’ll fall upon the appropriate recipients, at the time when You come to judge the world in righteousness. I am so sorry and repent, for I’ve grieved Your Holy Spirit. I’ve confessed You with my lips, but my heart has been far from Your heart for Your people, the Jews. I’ve called You “Lord and Master” in one breath, yet in some ways I am guilty of wrong attitudes of anti-Semitism and replacement theologies regarding Your people. I have not esteemed the Jewish people by embracing them with a humble heart, filled with love, compassion, and gratitude. Please forgive and cleanse me with Your atoning blood.

Yahshua (Jesus), You poured out Your blood, to save both Jews and Gentiles by “tearing down the dividing wall” that formerly had excluded all Gentiles from Your promised blessings that were first and foremost to Your Jewish people (Ephesians 2:14). Because I was ignorant, I did not know and remember the biblical mandates and warnings. I allowed that dividing wall to be reconstructed by embracing replacement theologies and its unholy root system with it’s deceptive mixture of truth and lies. I, along with so many “professing believers”, have opposed Your perfect will, to reconcile Jews and Gentiles into “one new man” (Ephesians 2:15). How very grievous this is to You, and how very sorry I am for disobeying Your biblical mandates to the Gentiles. Please forgive me for my ignorance, carelessness, and pride.

Thank You for humbling me and causing me to remember that I was once an alien (Ephesians 2:19), “an excluded Gentile, having no hope” or inheritance in Your sovereign promised blessings to Your Jewish people (Ephesians 2:12). Thank You for extending Your mercy to the Gentiles who were “far away” (Ephesians 2:17) by bringing us near You. Yahshua (Jesus), I am humbly grateful to You for Your infinite love to adopt me into Your redeemed Jewish household of faith. Thank you for including me as an heir to the promised eternal blessings that are “to the Jews first” and now also to the Gentiles (Romans 1:16). I pray that together as “one new man”, through the blood of the Lamb, Your “revealed mystery” will be magnified, at last, here on earth as it is in heaven (Ephesians 2:15, 3:3).

The Holy Spirit has deeply impressed upon my heart Apostle Paul’s warnings to the redeemed Gentiles, to remember and “Do not be arrogant… but fear; for if Yahveh did not spare the natural branches, neither will He spare you” (Romans 11:18-21). The fear of Yahveh Almighty God has given me wisdom and godly sorrow, leading me to true repentance. I am so very blessed to call You, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob my God. I am eternally grateful as a Gentile foreigner to be mercifully joined together with Your redeemed Jewish people, that as one new man, established on the holy Hebrew root, we will worship You together in Spirit and in truth. All glory be to You, Yahshua (Jesus) my Lamb, You have done great and mighty things!

Thank You for renewing my mind with truth that I might know Your will and and do it (Romans 12:2). You have magnified Your biblical mandates showing me how far I, and corporate Christianity have veered from the uncompromised truths of the holy Hebraic root of our faith (Ephesians 2 &3, Romans 11). I pray and humbly repent that in mercy You will forgive and remove every root and seed of anti-Semitism and replacement theologies that I have inherited from my family lineage and the church system. May I and my family be an heir to the promised blessings ordained for those who bless Your people (Genesis 12:3).

Yahshua (Jesus) thank You for dying for me, shedding your atoning blood to cleanse me of my confessed repentant sins. You died to set me free from captivity to my sin nature, the world, and to destroy the deceptive works of Satan that have kept me in bondage to “a form of godliness” devoid of the Holy Spirit and the holy root (2 Timothy 3:5). I come humbly before the throne of grace to receive the covering of my sins in Your precious atoning blood.

I pray for Your Holy Spirit to fill me afresh with Your grace and power to uphold Your blood by wholehearted obedience to Your uncompromised written Word and perfect will. You paid the unfathomable price to purchase me with Your sacrificial blood, I belong to You. You surrendered Your life for me and I surrender my life to You. Holy, Holy, Holy, are You Yahshua, the Jewish Messiah, the Lamb of God. Holy, Holy, Holy, is Your precious blood that was shed to redeem both Jew and Gentile together as one new man for Your praise, honor, glory, and dominion, forever and ever! Amen.

A Prayer for Eternal Life

Prayer for Deliverance and Salvation (It's Midnight Ministries).jpg

Yahveh God, Holy One of Israel: I haven’t known You as my Heavenly Father nor have I known Your Son Yahshua (Jesus) as my Savior. Until now, I’ve resisted the call to humble myself before You, a holy God. I’ve chosen my own ways and desired my own paths; but today, I’ve heard Your voice speaking deeply into my stubborn heart. Your Holy Spirit is convicting me of my sins, God’s righteousness, and His judgments to come. I desire eternal life and not eternal death; eternal blessings and not eternal curses.

Your Word says if I confess with my mouth that Yahshua (Jesus) is Yahveh (LORD) and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Romans 10:9). I truly believe in my heart that Yahveh God came to this earth to dwell in the person of Yahshua (Jesus), and I confess with my mouth that Yahshua (Jesus) is my Redeemer and the Master of my life. I believe that He died in my place to forgive and cleanse me of my sins and the Mighty God of Israel raised Him from the dead.

I humble myself before You. I know that I am a sinner; my actions and thoughts are not holy. I know You are holy. Please forgive me for my sins. Forgive me for the evil inclinations of my heart and mind. I ask You to search my heart, convicting me more and more of the many ways I fall so short of Your holiness and grieve You. Thank You, Yahshua (Jesus), that You died for me to cleanse me from my sins and clothe me with Your righteousness. I am forever grateful for such infinite love and mercy that ransomed me, snatching me from the tormenting fires of Hell, so that I could live with You, in Your kingdom of heaven experiencing everlasting joy in Your glorious presence.

Thank You for being my Yom Kippur atoning sacrifice, and for writing my name in the Lamb’s Book of Eternal Life. I ask Your Holy Spirit to come and dwell in my redeemed heart giving me the grace and power to overcome my sinful flesh, the many pulls of this dark world, and Satan’s continual deceptive enticements.

Thank you for bringing me to the narrow gate and path to follow my Savior who is the only way and truth that leads to eternal life. Yahshua (Jesus), I am humbly grateful that You heard my prayer of repentance, to cleanse me with Your blood, making me into a new born again creation that now bears Your identity as a redeemed child of God. May Your Spirit of truth teach me Your ways to walk in Your paths with sincere devotion to obey Your will and delight Your heart. May I never look back and long for the pleasures of the flesh and it’s desires for this passing world. Yahshua (Jesus) You surrendered Your life as a sacrifice to redeem my soul, in return I surrender my life to You, never taking lightly such a great salvation. I pray that through my words and deeds and the power of Your Holy Spirit working in and through me, You will receive all the praise, honor, and glory that is due to You alone, now and forever! Amen and Amen.

The Ten Commandments were divinely given for our instruction on how to live holy lives.  The Holy Spirit, dwelling within the redeemed child of God, leads us to wholeheartedly seek to do His will by learning and obeying His Ten Commandments. We have included a link that will help you to grow up in your salvation as You find out what pleases our God and Savior and do it.

10 Commandments Define Sin

“Blessed are they that do His commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14).

Grace to Overcome Our Sin Nature

Yom Kippur points to the need of repentance in our daily spiritual walk of surrender and self denial, as we “fight the good fight of faith” against sin’s utmost destructive rulership over our lives. (1 Timothy 6:12) Our Savior gave us the gift of “the Helper”, the Holy Spirit, to have dominion over our redeemed lives, leading and teaching us to seek biblical truth and to uphold it by His grace and power. (John 14:15) “The indwelling Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, God’s righteousness and the judgments” that are coming and He leads us to our Lamb’s blood on the Heavenly Mercy Seat. (John 16:8) Through this glorious gift of Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) sacrificial blood for the forgiveness of our sins, we have restored unity with our Holy God and Savior in bonds of eternal love and our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. “For as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our [confessed and repented] transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12) “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Messiah Yahshua [Christ Jesus], who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1) The Holy Spirit shines lights on hidden sins that we are not aware of. When He brings it to our attention, which is a continual process, it is time to repent and go to the mercy seat and ask for forgiveness for the blood of Messiah to cleanse us and purify us. Then we continue with our walk but we don’t go back to that sin. We are being transformed through repentance, more and more into the likeness of Yahshua (Jesus), who is Spirit.

“To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion [over our redeemed lives] forever and ever. Amen.” (Revelation 1:5-6)

As the upcoming prophetic events unfold in these last days, the Almighty Creator and Savior through righteous indignation, will pour out judgments on all the rebellious inhabitants of the earth. “The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.” (Isaiah 24:5-6, Matthew 13:41) Yahshua (Jesus) is making it clear that both the wholehearted obedient and half hearted hypocritical believers will coexist as wheat and tares in the harvest field and will be separated at the end of the age. The deceived multitudes sadly include many Christians who have a self righteous empty form of religion who are actually defying and rebelling against the truth. Through their ignorance and disobedience they are unknowingly joined with Satan in his continual war against the Holy One’s sovereign rulership, Word, and Commandments. It is important to emphasize this vital Scriptural explanation and warning, it is written, “the person who does anything defiantly, … that one is blaspheming the Lord; and that person shall be cut off from among his people. Because he has despised the word of the Lord Yahveh and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off.” (Numbers 15:30-31) Continual rebellion by choosing our own will over the will of God is considered despising His word and blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

We are saved by grace, by the same grace we continue to “work out our salvation”, crucifying our flesh in order to live in the Spirit with victory over our ever present sin nature”
— Philippians 2:12

Apostle Paul’s words speak clearly to the redeemed remnant, “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires … and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:22,24) Those who confess faith in our Savior, yet continue to live in the “old self” nature are defying, despising, and insulting the spirit of truth and grace. Yahshua (Jesus) died to cover our sins, to redeem us as spiritual “born again” “new creations” who have the indwelling Spirit, “the Helper”, who prepares us to be found righteous for our King and His coming kingdom. (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, John 14:26) When we continually defy His Holy Spirit, “how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation” accomplished by Yahshua (Jesus) when He was nailed to “the tree of Calvary” to pour out His lifeblood to free us from our sins and their eternal wages? (Hebrews 2:3, Acts 5:30) The Messiah is “full of grace and truth.” The blood redeemed have mercifully received “the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.” (John 1:14, Ephesians 1:6) “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) Yes, we are saved by grace, by the same grace we continue to “work out our salvation”, crucifying our flesh in order to live in the Spirit with victory over our ever present sin nature. (Philippians 2:12) Most grievously however, due to Satan’s cunning strategies and the compromised gospel message, true grace has been diluted, cheapened, and completely misunderstood as a license for self indulgence and sin. The great apostle Paul (Shaul) described what the real meaning of grace is, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Messiah Yahshua [Christ Jesus], who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed [disobedience to the holy commandments], and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds [originating from the Holy Spirit]. (Titus 2:11-14)

Our Savior made it clear that many who call Him “Lord, Lord” will never enter His kingdom because they did not submit to His holy will, Word, and rulership (Matthew 7:22). Yahshua (Jesus) emphasizes the consequences of self-serving defiance and rebellion against the Spirit of grace (the Holy Spirit), as it is written,“these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence.” “… Assign [them] a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Luke 19:27, Matthew 24:51) Anyone who intimately knows, loves, and fears our God and Savior understands these words, as sharp and powerful as they are, can not be powerful enough to sufficiently express His holiness and the dreadful consequences of “taking lightly such a great salvation.” (Hebrews 2:3) It is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” And “without holiness no one will see the Lord.” (1 Peter 1:16, Hebrews 12:14)

Those who are not “humble and contrite of spirit and tremble at His word”, will inevitably perpetuate the same sins over and over again, giving Satan the victory in their lives”
— Isaiah 66:2

Yahshua (Jesus) said, “unless you repent, you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3). It is required that we “work out our salvation with fear and trembling” through humble obedience. (Philippians 2:12) As long as we are in these bodies we must be vigilant, alert, and sober. We must continually “keep watch” on our unruly self-nature and “judge ourselves”, keeping our flesh and strong self will under the control of the Holy Spirit, who gives us the grace to overcome our fallen sin nature. (1 Peter 5:8, 1Corinthians 11:31, Galatians 5:23) It is written, “Be sure that your sin will find you out” and “testify against” you. (Numbers 32:23, Jeremiah 14:7) “The fear of Yahveh God, gives us wisdom”, leading to fervency in prayer, asking our Father to convict us of our sins and the many ways we compromise His Word, oppose His perfect will, and “grieve His Holy Spirit.” (Psalm 111:10, Ephesians 4:30) The Almighty says, “Humble yourself.” Apostle Paul cautions us, “if you think you are standing firm, take heed that you don't fall!” "Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.” “Yahveh lifts up the humble; he casts the wicked to the ground.” (James 4:10, 1 Corinthians 10:12, Matthew 23:12, Psalm 147:6) Those who are not “humble and contrite of spirit and tremble at His word”, will inevitably perpetuate the same sins over and over again, giving Satan the victory in their lives (Isaiah 66:2). “Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear Yahveh [the Lord] and turn away from evil” to uphold righteousness or your sins will become “intentional”, which is “despising the word” of the holy God and grieving and “insulting the Spirit of grace” and truth. (Proverbs 3:7, Numbers 15:30-31, Hebrews 10:29)

Sincere repentance is not only the confession of our sins that are covered in His sacrificial blood, but this humble act must be accompanied with complete change of heart and mind. We cannot remain passive, we must become vigilantly proactive to “fight the good fight of faith”, resist, and turn away from the enemy of our souls, beginning with our own self-sin nature, in order to seek, embrace, and uphold biblical righteousness. (1 Timothy 6:12) “For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another…” (Galatians 5:17) The flesh is our enemy. Yahshua (Jesus) died to free us from the self sin nature, if we continue to sin we become an enemy to the cross (tree) of Yahshua (Jesus) rather than exalting the precious blood that redeemed us to become a spiritual “born again” holy “creation.” (Hebrews 10:29, John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17) “How much more severe punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?” (Hebrews 10:29)

It is written, “… all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” “Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Romans 3:23, Hebrews 4:16) We are all so prone to sin and have great need to pray for the infinite mercy of our Savior’s grace to “go forth and sin no more.” (John 8:11) It is written, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation” consecration, purification, and holiness. (2 Corinthians 7:10)

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I come to You with a repentant heart. I have never truly understood the full blessing of Your grace and I am guilty of taking for granted Your Holy Spirit. I have so often catered to the desires of my flesh and the continual preoccupations with everyday life in this world. I repent for the many times I have not sought Your will, and carelessly, even defiantly done my own will, to please myself and others, instead of You. I am sorry for being so casual in my relationship with You. I rarely take time to truly seek Your will and to prayerfully ask for the grace and power to overcome my unruly sinful flesh and self will that grieves and insults Your Holy Spirit of grace.

Yahshua (Jesus), please forgive me for being superficial and hypocritical in my spiritual life and walk with You. I am convicted of the sin of defiance; I have wanted to be in control of my life rather than surrendering to the grace of Your Holy Spirit’s rulership. I am humbled before You, I need Your grace from this day on to continue to work out my salvation with fear and trembling against the enemy of my soul. I am beginning to recognize that my prideful stubborn self will, strong flesh nature, and all of it’s desires are truly warring against Your Holy Spirit within me. Please help me to surrender my life to You, relinquishing my control to Your rulership over me.

I have not highly esteemed Your precious blood that purchased me and gave me Your Spirit of grace and power to overcome and be found faithful and holy. Yahshua (Jesus), please have mercy on me; I am a wretched sinner. I call You Lord, I do what seems right to a man, but in Your sight I know that I have been walking more in the flesh than in the Spirit of grace and righteousness. Please forgive me and cleanse me with Your blood and fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Thank You, my Savior, for paying the greatest price to free me from my selfish sin nature and cleanse me of my many sins. I want to be more than a conqueror over my flesh, the world, and Satan. Please give me the grace and power to walk in a manner worthy of the holy call for which You sacrificed Your blood to redeem me for Your eternal glory. Thank You Yahshua (Jesus) for Your amazing grace that saved me and Your amazing grace that prepares me to be found righteous in Your sight, as I fix my heart and hope on spending eternity with You in Your heavenly kingdom. I humbly and sincerely praise You for Your loving mercy and kindness extended to me, in the name of Yahshua (Jesus) I pray, Amen.

Pagan Roots vs Biblical Truth

We are at the end of the age and what Satan has deceptively sown in the harvest of pure biblical truth is being magnified to those who have spiritual discernment, accompanied with a “hunger and thirst for righteousness”.

Want to learn even more about the Biblical Feasts of Israel? Check out Terrye G. Seedman's book "Redefining the Feasts of Israel Through the Ten Commandments." The Holy Days pivot around the Ten Commandments, these were appointed times to meet with Him that would help them to walk by His spirit’s leading in these Commandments.  Indeed, there would be no feasts if it was not for the Ten Commandments and the penalty of sin for not upholding them and there would be no need of Messiah.  The Ten Commandments point us to Him and YAHshua the schoolmaster points us to the truth so we can walk in a way worthy of everything that He has taught us to be.  “Not of the letter but of the Spirit.  For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:6) This book unlocks truths from Yahveh's divine Ten Commandments to redefine the true meaning and fulfillment of the holy Feasts of Israel. Simply, the divinely appointed times, the feast days, pivot around the blood on the altar of sacrifice—on the mercy seat, for the forgiveness of sin and sin points us back to the Commandments. Therefore every feast is exalting the Commandments of YAHveh, exalting our Lamb who came and died because we can’t uphold the Commandments without His help.  They are inextricably linked. You can’t separate the feasts from the Commandments and you cannot separate the Lamb of God who is the ultimate fulfillment of the holy temple, priesthood, and the sacrificial system’s substitutionary sacrifice for our sin nature. Learn all of this and more in this powerful book about Yahveh's divine commandments and holy feasts.
