Part One

Paul Prophesied - Deception Will Infiltrate the Church

- 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Corinthians 11:4 -

Paul poured out his life on the altar of service and sacrifice, that the Gentiles would become an acceptable holy people who would glorify the Holy One of Israel through faith in the Messiah and the power of His Holy Spirit

Yahveh, in His loving mercy and grace, as was prophesied, opened the door for the Gentiles to come in and be one with redeemed Israel. (See Romans 9,11, Ephesians 2) Satan seized this open door to the Gentiles as the opportunity to infiltrate the harvest field with seeds of Gentile pagan-rooted customs and traditions. Apostle Paul was given the most difficult commission to teach the former Gentile pagans to know and love the God of Israel and to forsake all of their familiar and cherished pagan customs, doctrines, and traditions to “worship the One True Living God in spirit and in truth.” (see Romans 11:13, John 4:24) They were to be united with Israel, as the redeemed “one new man” remnant, established on the ancient foundation of pure biblical truth as adopted children of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. (Ephesians 2:14-16) Messiah gave Paul “the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, [along with the full counsel of biblical truth, the Old Testament instructions and teachings, the Torah] so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:16)

Paul was acutely aware of the Enemy’s strategies and how easy it would be to deceive the Gentiles who formerly worshipped false gods and embraced idolatrous traditions

Paul, in his wisdom and desire to protect the young Gentile believers, continually warned of Satan’s strategies of deception that could easily lure them back into captivity to their former way of life. (Acts 13:9) The apostle understood the special vulnerability for the newly “born again” Gentile followers of Yahshua (Jesus). (Romans 11:13, Ephesians 3:1, John 3:3) Paul referred to them as “wild, not cultivated olive tree branches” (Romans 11:17). He knew how susceptible they were because of their former life as foreigners to the God of Israel, not having a biblical foundation or understanding of His Word. Paul said, “I don’t want you to be unaware of Satan’s schemes, lest he have an advantage over you.” (see 2 Corinthians 2:11) He was acutely aware of the Enemy’s strategies and how easy it would be to deceive the Gentiles who formerly worshipped pagan gods and embraced idolatrous traditions. He sorrowfully proclaimed to his Gentile brethren in the true faith, specifying that “seducing spirits”, “doctrines of demons”, and “another Yahshua (Jesus), a different spirit, and a different gospel” would ensnare many of the Gentile believers to “fall away and apostatize” from obedience to uncompromised biblical truth. (1 Timothy 4:1, see 2 Corinthians 11:4, 2 Thessalonians 1-3)

When the Gentiles came in, the enemy set out to entice them with his doctrines and mix the pagan roots, by which he was worshipped and exalted, back into the pure harvest field the Son of God planted. Then he would still have the worship and soon many would forget about the word of God and Yahveh’s holy days, which point to the Messiah. Satan wants the redeemed to forget how to walk as Yahshua (Jesus) walked obeying His Father’s commandments and fulfilling the biblical holy days, especially because they pointed to Yahshua (Jesus) being the Lamb of God. This deceptive empty form of religious mixtures would be upon Satan’s foundation until judgment is brought upon the devil and his kingdom forever. Only the remnant will escape that judgment, because now, much of the household of God is built on the erroneous foundation that is coming down.

For Additional One New Man Teachings

Redeemed Jew and Gentile - One in the Jewish Messiah

Paul exhorted and continually warned his beloved Gentile brethren to be on guard against deception and pride which would be rebellion against the Holy One and His Jewish people. He profoundly exclaimed, “Remember, you Gentiles … remember you were at that time separate from Messiah [Christ], excluded from the people of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world” (Ephesians 2:11-12). Paul strongly cautioned, “Do not be arrogant toward the [original Jewish] branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you.” You will say then, “Branches [some unbelieving Jews] were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either” (Romans 11:18-21). This is why Paul’s heart was always exhorting the Gentiles, “you must continue in humility, not only were you foreigners but you must remember that “the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God”, which are the Holy Scriptures (Romans 3:2). If it wasn’t for the Jewish people there would be no oracles. They were “the chosen people” to know the God of Israel, to record His Scriptures, and to “be His witnesses” so the Gentiles could learn about the One True God (Deuteronomy 7:6-8, Isaiah 43:10). Paul knew that if they forgot their humble origins as Gentile foreigners that they were in danger, as “wild olive tree branches", of being cut off and thrown into the fire because of their pride and anti-Semitic attitude towards Messiah’s brethren (Romans 11:17,21).

Paul was their “father through the gospel”, who wholeheartedly warned his Gentile spiritual sons and daughters that a massive deception of Satan was going to come

- 1 Corinthians 4:15-

“Therefore I … implore you [Gentiles] to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit [Jew and Gentile one new man] in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling…” (Ephesians 4:1-4) Paul was their “father through the gospel”, who wholeheartedly warned his Gentile spiritual sons and daughters that a massive deception of Satan was going to come (1 Corinthians 4:15). He explained to them, “Satan masquerades as an angel of light and it is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants [preachers and teachers] of righteousness” to deceive many (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). There would be so many pulpits filled with the doctrines of demons, masquerading as preachers of righteousness, infiltrating the pure harvest field of truth that the Messiah had planted. Yahshua (Jesus) warned of this in the parable of the wheat and the tares, saying that Satan would come right behind Him and plant seeds of deception that would grow together in the harvest field until the end of the age. (Matthew 13:24-30)

Apostle Paul continued warning for “three years with tears” saying, "I know that after my departure savage wolves [dressed in sheep’s clothing] will come in among you, not sparing the flock; Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them”. He protectively cautioned them saying, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; … they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own [self pleasing worldly] desires.” (See Acts 20:21, 29,30, 2 Timothy 4:3). Yahveh says, “My people will love it this way but what will you do at the end” when “judgment begins at the household of God?” (Jeremiah 5:31, 1 Peter 4:17)
