The Light of Truth Overcomes the Darkness of Deception

The Light of Truth Overcomes the Darkness of Deception

Our Savior said, “For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light” (Luke 8:17). It is our passionate hope and prayer that the content of these messages will magnify the light of truth exposing darkness, so that the Enemy does not deceive us. We must understand that deception began in the Garden of Eden when Satan successfully lied and tempted Adam and Eve. His victory over Adam and Eve, and all humanity to follow, has led to the perpetuation of rampant disobedience, sin, and rebellion against the Most High God and Savior. Tracing and magnifying the “ancient serpent’s” trail, from the Garden of Eden onward, will help us to recognize and flee from Satan’s ongoing deceptive agenda, as we work out our salvation in preparation for our holy God and Savior’s heavenly kingdom.

Our free will steers the ship of our choices in life and will ultimately determine our eternity”

Beginning with Adam and Eve, humanity has been given the blessed gift of a free will. It is the choices of the free will that determine whether we are blessed eternally through obedience or cursed by being disobedient. Our free will steers the ship of our choices in life and will ultimately determine our eternity. As professing believers we are continually told to “work out our salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12). The battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit unceasingly rages. Satan, the Tempter and Deceiver, is the enemy of our soul, who is relentlessly working in and through our self-flesh nature, trying if possible to regain his wicked stronghold over our lives. Apostle Peter cautions us, “Be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

In this ongoing battle between the flesh and the Spirit remember, “There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy …” (James 4:12). “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah [Christ], so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good [by the Spirit] or bad [by the flesh]” (2Corinthians 5:10). “There is only One who is good” and that is Yahveh God (Matthew 19:17). Righteousness and good deeds are a by-product of the Holy Spirit manifesting in and through the obedient redeemed remnant. However, many call Him ‘Lord’ and profess Him, but they continue to do the deeds of the flesh, which can only produce evil. So therefore good and evil depends on the source, whether it originates from the flesh or the indwelling Holy Spirit. Yahshua [Jesus] said, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing” (John 6:63).

“For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live”
— Romans 8:13

Everyone will have to give an account of what has been done while here on earth in these physical bodies. The choice for each believer is to choose obedience to the Spirit or giving in to the desires and deeds of the flesh. It is written, “For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Romans 8:13 and Proverbs 14:12). If we ignore such a great salvation of the outpoured atoning blood of the Son of God, and continue to live in the sinful flesh, and maintain a friendship with this dark world, we will be accountable for greater judgment. “Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him [or her] it is sin” (James 4:17).

A true born again believer is given the riches of Yahshua’s glorious Spirit. Our Savior said, “From everyone who has been given much, much will be required …” (Luke 12:48). Because we have been given the power of His indwelling Spirit of truth and grace, we are accountable to overcome the self-nature, all its unceasing desires, and the enticing pulls of the world. It is written in the Scripture that Satan is, “the god and ruler of this world” and “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the [demonic] spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places” (2 Corinthians 4:4, John 12:31, Ephesians 6:12).

At this late hour, it is our urgent prayerful goal that the light of truth will magnify Satan’s schemes of deception and its collateral effects on all humanity, especially on multitudes of believers. Satan brings darkness and deception but Yahshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) is truth and light. He has delivered the faithful redeemed out of the darkness. Therefore we have to “walk as children of the light … which consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth, trying to learn what is pleasing to the Master [and obey Him]. … Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them” (Ephesians 5:8-11).

Yahshua [Jesus] died for a remnant who are “the called and chosen and faithful” who will overcome the flesh and the world by the power of His indwelling Holy Spirit”
— Revelation 17:14

One of the many focuses of this ministry is to reveal the light, which exposes Satan’s deeds of darkness and deception that have infiltrated segments of the religious system of Christianity. Multitudes of believers have been misled, through believing erroneous doctrines and traditions, rather than learning the uncompromised truth of the Word, “the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27). The many ongoing teachings on this website are designed to be as a comprehensive manual for the building up of holy disciples who are truly prepared and equipped to fulfill the highest spiritual call on their redeemed lives. Yahshua [Jesus] died for a remnant who are “the called and chosen and faithful” who will overcome the flesh and the world by the power of His indwelling Holy Spirit (Revelation 17:14). “Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Messiah [Christ]” (2 Corinthians 2:14).

May the Holy Spirit of truth mightily prepare and equip you to be “more than conquerors” over your flesh and its desires, Satan’s deceptions, and the worldly cares and preoccupations (Romans 8:37). We pray that your spiritual appetite is stimulated. Our Savior promised, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled” (Matthew 5:6).
