Waiting for Yahshua (Jesus)

Waiting For Yahshua (Jesus)

The narrow door—the narrow way is unfathomable for the multitudes that Satan has deceived. The idea of “counting the cost” was not presented, and if it was, they preferred to justify their carnal lifestyles and to live as half hearted believers who enjoyed the world and the people in the world. It was too costly for the multitudes. Yahshua (Jesus) says that we need to “count the cost” to follow Him. (Luke 14:28)

So Messiah (Christ) also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him”
— Hebrews 9:28

A holy disciple, a pure and spotless bride, will follow Yahshua (Jesus) at any cost, leaving everything behind because “she” is waiting expectantly with hope, joy, and peace for His return and kingdom, which He has prepared for those He finds “waiting for Him.” (See 2 Corinthians 11:2, Revelation 19:7-9, Luke 14:33, Hebrews 9:28) So many times, through the Scripture Old and New, we see Yahveh defining the ones who are saved as those who are waiting for Him. “Therefore Yahveh longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For Yahveh is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long (wait) for Him.” (Isaiah 30:18) "Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks.” (Luke 12:36) So Messiah (Christ) also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.” (Hebrews 9:28)

If we are eagerly waiting for His appearing it will be like a dynamo of spiritual power that motivates us “to run this race”, “fighting a good fight of faith”, joyfully “picking up our cross and following Him” in order to “endure victoriously to the end” regardless of what is required for that victory. "O death, where is your victory? O death where is your sting? (Hebrews 12:1, 1 Timothy 6:12, Matthew 16:24, 24:13, 1 Corinthians 15:55)

Prayer:

Father in heaven, I don’t want to be simply one of the called ones; with all my heart I ask that I am called, chosen and faithful. I take seriously such an awesome salvation, that not only did You die for me but you have called and chosen me to come outside of this world—to be crucified to it and every friendship that is in the world system so “the world [would be] crucified to me, and I to the world” (Galatians 6:14). You call me to “pick up my cross and to follow You” so that I can” know You in Your sufferings and in Your resurrection power.” (Matthew 16:24, Philippians 3:10) I humbly thank You for the faith that caused me to love and accept Your sacrifice and I thank you for the faith and grace to “die daily” to myself. (1 Corinthians 15:31) When the time of death to this fleshy body and earth is an ultimate reality, You will be so alive in me that death will have no sting and I will go joyously as a waiting bride runs to meet her beloved bridegroom.
