A Prayer - Following Yahshua (Jesus)

Yahshua (Jesus), may I be transformed daily by the renewing of my mind as I place my life on Your altar as a living sacrifice made holy through Your precious blood. Renew my mind that I might be transformed into Your image and prove what is Your perfect will, so that even unbelievers will glorify You on the day You visit this earth. (See 1 Peter 2:12.) HalleluYah for Your blood! “‘Though [my] sins be as scarlet…’” (Isaiah 1:18), You have washed me; may I walk in the light I have been given. Help me to continue to strive to stay on that narrowing path of righteousness, following You and bringing glory and honor to Your holy name.

Help me wake up to the responsibility that I have and to continue daily to “work out [my] salvation with fear and trembling” before You (Philippians 2:12). Help me, Holy One, not to get lax or to taste a little of the sin of the world, for it is poison, and it will kill. The ways of this world have many empty promises that are so deceiving. Greater are You, Yahveh Almighty, through Your Son Yahshua (Jesus), than the darkness of this world and its temptations and pulls!

I pray, in Your precious name Yahshua, that I will continually look up to You with praise and honor, even when temptations come my way. May I push them aside and say, “The enemy is a liar, deceiver, destroyer and a robber of my joy, faith, and even my life, if I believe him!” May I be strong in Your word, Yahveh. May I be strong in my faith, daily to resist the devil, knowing he must flee in Your name.

I pray that Your joy will fill me and that I will continue to read Your Word, to long for Your Word, to long for those times of quietness in my prayer closet with You. I want to draw close and hear You speak to me. Thank you for hearing my heart's cry, I know You will answer! Amen
