The sign of the last days is people will be lovers of self. The return of the god of self ruling and reigning on this earth has brought forth the great apostasy. It is all about the self in the church, the self pleasing, the self seeking, and the self satisfaction. In the world it is all about self, love yourself, be good to yourself, whatever your self wants no one can tell you otherwise because you know what is best for yourself. It is all the god of self, which is the anti-messiah (antichrist) spirit and it is full blown in the world and in the church. The stage is completely level and set for the anti messiah (antichrist) to walk out and the majority of believers have already been denying Yahshua (Jesus) so that their god of self can rule and reign under a counterfeit gospel. They have been primed to save their lives, to love their lives, and to do whatever it takes to deceive themselves and to deceive others, but no one will deceive Yahveh. He will not be mocked. If we sow to the flesh, which is the flesh nature, the god of self and all of its idols that it thrives on, then we will be destroyed, regardless of our confession of faith. The apostasy that we are in is part of what Satan has primed and prepared the pathway for the whole world. The salt and the light of the church is out except for a remnant and may they shine more brightly than ever, dying to their flesh daily moment by moment. Many are going to a martyr’s death as Yahshua showed in the Book of Revelation, who do not love their lives so much as to shrink back from death. They hate their lives compared to the love they have for Yahshua (Jesus). They are going to willingly go to a martyr’s death because the anti messiah (antichrist) will not tolerate Yahshua (Jesus) to live on his earth.
Yahshua (Jesus) called Satan the “god of this world” who uses his deceptive influence and cunning strategies to continually keep humanity’s focus earthbound rather than heavenward. (John 12:31, 2 Corinthians 4:4) Because of our misplaced affections and worldly focus, the enemy is able to easily steal the love, obedience, worship, and glory due only to our God and Savior. Satan’s constant evil agenda has turned divine order “upside down.” (Isaiah 29:16) Sadly, the majority of humanity “do not have a love for the truth” of the Living God and Savior and are progressively “exchanging the truth for lies.” (2 Thessalonians 2:10, Romans 1:25) Yahveh the Holy One said, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness!” (Isaiah 5:20)
Our Savior’s aim to “destroy the works of the devil" is first and foremost to get us to be dead to our self sin nature and alive to Him.”

Yahshua (Jesus) Messiah “came to destroy the works of the enemy” so that He could set us free to become “born again” spiritual “new creations” who have His “Holy Spirit within to guide us into all truth”. (1 John 3:8, John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, John 16:13) To be new creations means that “the old things are gone”, our old self flesh nature is gone. (2 Corinthians 5:17) You can see your flesh nature as your enemy only once you are born again and have Yahshua’s Spirit living in you. Without being born again, you can know about it but you can’t see it, discern it, detect it, and deal with it by putting it to death moment by moment as it vies to gain a prominent control over your life. You have to be in the Spirit to fight the good fight of faith against this number one enemy. What did Yahshua our Savior have to say about the self? “If you want to be My disciple, that means if you want to be taught by Me, and to be taught by Me you have to walk with Me in the Spirit on a very narrow path, because that is the path I am walking in and leading My sheep out of this world, Number one is you have to deny yourself, you have got to count the cost ahead of time and it is going to cost you everything. As He said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23) Our Savior’s aim to “destroy the works of the devil" is first and foremost to get us to be dead to our self sin nature and alive to Him.” (1 John 3:8, Romans 6:11) In Yahshua’s sight the self nature is like the anti messiah (antichrist) sitting on the throne of our hearts instead of, in place of, and in opposition to Himself. In place of, in opposition to, is what anti messiah (antichrist) means.
As it is written, “Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be evident that they all are not of us.” (1 John 2:18-19) What was John referring to? He was referring to the fact that those he called antichrists did not want to deny their flesh. They did not want to crucify themselves and be crucified to the world with all the idols that please the self. John saw it for what it is, the anti-messiah (antichrist) spirit. They so loved this world they went back to it. We do not want to have anything that resembles and is a by-product of the anti messiah (antichrist) spirit ruling in our lives by allowing the flesh to continue to live when Yahshua (Jesus) is to be our Master and Savior. This is very dangerous ground because “whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction;…” (Galatians 6:8)
The enemy has been masquerading in a religious apostate system that has endorsed the flesh for so long that most people don’t know you can’t follow the true Yahshua unless you deny yourself”

If we do not want to deny ourselves, Messiah says, “you are trying to save your lives and you will lose them.” (see Luke 17:33) We must lose our life in the flesh and the world to follow Him, as Apostle Paul said, “we are to be crucified to the world and the world to us.” (Galatians 6:14) We are to learn “to live and have our being in the Spirit”, “making no provision for the flesh” because it is our number one enemy. (Acts 17:28, Romans 13:14) Any self pleasing, self endorsing gospel is from the pit of Hell. It is filling pulpits and pews all over the world with a counterfeit Jesus and a counterfeit gospel that Satan has successfully used to lead many believers like sheep to the slaughter, because they stubbornly wanted what their selfish flesh nature wanted. It is written,“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:19) If we are not walking in obedience to His fundamental mandate to deny ourselves and pick up our crucifixion stake we will never follow Yahshua (Jesus). The enemy has been masquerading in a religious apostate system that has endorsed the flesh for so long that most people don’t know you can’t follow the true Yahshua unless you deny yourself. There has been a great falling away over this one major issue that Yahshua made as the foundation to be His disciple to follow Him out of the world, out of the flesh, and on to the narrow path. It is written, “For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires.” (2 Timothy 4:3)
Many “professing believers” believe they are to live their best lives in the here and now so they embrace a distorted gospel that allows the self to live and not only to live but to feel that God is there to be a sugar daddy who gives their flesh all the worldly blessings it craves until they go to be with Him in heaven. So many in Christianity are encrusted with this mentality and that is why many will go into the beast system because this is the god they know and love; one who loves and blesses them and could not possibly want them to suffer, starve, and die. Knowing “they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name” many will take it to save their lives. (Revelation 13:17) We have to understand what the cost is to follow Yahshua and we have to obey it. We must have a love for Him and the truth or we will not even receive it. As He said, “if you are willing to receive it”, even though you may be in prison bars bound to Satan in your flesh, this is the key to your eternal freedom. (Matthew 11:14) Multitudes are going to “perish for this lack of knowledge” because the “god of self” destroyed their eternal life. (Hosea 4:6)
If we do not see our self as our number one enemy it is because we want the self to have its way.”
It is written, “For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.” (2 Peter 2:21) “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:7-8) It is mocking Yahveh to say that you can live in your flesh when Yahshua said, “no you can’t, you have to put your self life to death. This is where so many people swerve off the narrow path and go on to the broad path. Who do we want ruling over our lives? We are going to have to choose. We are either going to serve ourselves or deny ourselves. If we continue to sin by living in the flesh we have denied Yahshua (Jesus), trampled His blood, and broken the covenant that His sacrificial blood made with us, that we would be in covenant with Him in the Spirit. We are insulting the Spirit of grace who He gave to us as the Helper to fulfill the mandate to deny the flesh and all of its ungodly, unruly, sinful ways. (See Hebrews 10:29) If we do not see our self as our number one enemy it is because we want the self to have its way. Our superficial lip service is really a counterfeit religious spirit that will testify against us at the judgment seat. In essence it is an anti-messiah (antichrist) spirit that wars against Yahshua (Jesus) ruling and reigning over our lives. We must see the reality that our beloved flesh nature is not from Almighty God and is unholy and repulsive in His holy sight, because it is fueled by the power of Satan “the god of this world.” (John 12:31, 2 Corinthians 4:4) As stated, Yahshua (Jesus) came to free us from the bondage to Satan, the ruling worldly god, and the many idols of self. The devil and our self nature are our life-time opponents. They must be continually recognized and beat back and destroyed before they destroy us and brings us down with the multitudes of deceived victims into the pit of Hell!
Only our flesh is subject to the world’s gravitational pulls. The Spirit is not.”
Those who deny the flesh will not be subject to the preoccupations and pulls of this world. They will keep ascending higher and higher until there is more and more of their being and lives hidden in the Holy Spirit. “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28) The self is like a lead balloon pulled down by gravity; it will never ever ascend into the Spirit. Only those who are “born again” “new creations”, having “put to death the deeds of the flesh” continually can live in the Spirit and not be subject to the downward pull of the earth and ultimately the downward pull into Hell. (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:13) We cannot let the earth and the self’s desire for the things of this passing world overtake us.

The inherited self nature resembles Satan not our Creator. When Pilate asked the crowds, “Whom do you want me to release for you: Barabbas, or Yahshua [Jesus] who is called Messiah?” They said, “Barabbas!” (Matthew 27:17,21) Pilate said to them, “Then what shall I do with Yahshua [Jesus] who is called Messiah?” They all said, “Crucify Him!” That was Satan’s voice crying out, “Give us Barabbas, give us the flesh, give us the deeds of the flesh. We don’t want the Spirit to rule and reign. We don’t want the Almighty Creator to rule and reign over us, crucify Him. We want Satan and the flesh (because the fallen flesh nature is Satan’s offspring) to rule and reign over us.” Barabbas is symbolic of the sinful flesh that doesn’t deserve to live. It needs to be crucified but the flesh and counterfeit theologies will let Barabbas live instead of the true Yahshua. When you choose the flesh it is like choosing Barabbas instead of Yahshua (Jesus). You are “re-crucifying” the Messiah all over again and according to the Scripture there is no remedy left after that. (See Hebrews 6:6) It is written, “It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting Him to public disgrace.” (Hebrews 6:4-6)
We must realize and remember that within our souls is a raging battle between the god of self (Satan’s foremost instrument) and the Holy Spirit deposited in us. “For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.” (Galatians 5:17) Yahshua (Jesus) gives us the grace and overcoming power to be “more than conquerors” over our flesh, the world, and Satan. (Romans 8:37) Paul explains simply, “put on the master Yahshua (the Spirit), … the flesh profits nothing … make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its desires … For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” (Romans 8:13, 13:14, Acts 20:24, 1 Timothy 6:12)
We must deny our flesh, starve it, reject, rebuke, resist, renounce, and repent for indulging our self and its worldly cravings. We are to crucify it and beat it back, lest it overpowers us. “….Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of Heaven.” (1 Corinthians 15:50) There is only imminent judgment to come on the self sin nature and no one will escape it if they are living in their flesh and for its desires.Who are you going to cry out for? “Give us Yahshua (Jesus)” or “give us Barabbas”? Give us what our self wants or death to self, death to Barabbas? Give us Yahshua (Jesus) we only want Him to rule and reign over our lives! HalleluYah
prayer,
Heavenly Father, thank you for exposing the enemy’s constant evil agenda that has turned Your divine order “upside down.” (Isaiah 29:16) Your wisdom compels me to rid my life from idols and self-centered worldly preoccupations. I know my temptations, the things I entertain in my mind, and the desires and inclinations of my heart will grow and grow as weeds until they take over, until they blind and enslave me. May I never be shouting, “Give me Barabbas! Yahveh forbid! Praise be to my Helper, Your powerful Holy Spirit, that is mighty to the tearing down of every idol, stronghold, and vain imagination that rises up against my knowing and loving You intimately (see 2 Corinthians 10:5). Yahshua (Jesus), you are calling me to tear down my idols at any cost, by the might and power of Your Spirit. "It is Your Spirit who gives life; my flesh profits nothing; the words that [You] have spoken to [me] are spirit and are life” (John 6:63). Please consecrate me and cover my idols with Your atoning blood. I pray that I can begin to show forth the fruit of obedience at any cost with a humble and contrite heart that trembles at Your word.” (Isaiah 66:2)
Yahshua (Jesus), teach me to walk in Your ways. Your word says, “How can two walk together unless they are in agreement with one another?” (see Amos 3:3). I want to be with You! “A day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside” (Psalm 84:10), so if I long for anything more important than that, I know that something is wrong in my relationship with You, and I need further correction. Mighty are You, at the close of this age, to give discernment and wisdom to all who desire to walk in the light of Your full counsel of truth. I pray You will continually correct the crooked and idolatrous places in me, so that the simplicity and profundity of worshipping and adoring You will be the greatest fulfillment and desire of my heart. Thank You Yahshua I know you heard my prayers and will answer them. Amen
