It’s Midnight, A New Day is Coming!

What will be the sign of Messiah’s coming, and of the end of the age? Yahshua (Jesus) said, “Watch out [be on guard] that no one deceives you”

As we enter the New Year on the world’s calendar we have learned from the previous years that nothing is going to go on as usual. Undoubtedly we are in “perilous times”, watching the manifestation of biblically prophesied events. (2 Timothy 3:1) Globally, multitudes are in anxiety and high alert for the fear of the unknown and what is coming next. Some shutter and say we are in the last days, others say the last hours, and many even say we are in the last moments of this temporary world as we know it. Even those who don’t know biblical prophecy can read the writing on the wall. It is noteworthy that there is actually a doomsday clock that was established in 1947. Its origin can be traced to the international group of researchers called the Atomic Chicago Scientists who had participated in the Manhattan Project. These scientists and engineers were closely associated with the development of the atomic bomb and were fearful of the catastrophic consequences of such immeasurable destructive power. The Doomsday Clock measures the chances of the annihilation of the human race, it is now set at 90 seconds before midnight - the hour they think marks the end of the world through weapons of unfathomable nuclear destruction. It is wise to pay attention to what Yahshua (Jesus) and the biblical prophets said regarding the end of this present world. When the Jewish disciples understood that their long awaited Messiah was on earth and in their midst, they “came to Yahshua privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” He said, “Watch out [be on guard] that no one deceives you. … you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake … But the one who endures [through faith] to the end shall be saved.” (see Matthew 24:3-13)

Pertaining to the faithful righteous redeemed remnant, it is written, “Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, O Yahveh [LORD], We have waited for You eagerly;” my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently; For when the earth experiences Your judgments, The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. Though the wicked person is shown compassion, He does not learn righteousness; He deals unjustly and wickedly … and does not perceive the majesty and holiness of Yahveh.” (see Isaiah 26:8-10) Our Heavenly Father says, to those who understand and follow the way of His prophesied judgments “it will be well for them” “even in darkness light dawns for the upright…” (Isaiah 3:10, Psalm 112:4) ““The called and chosen and faithful” redeemed remnant will be spiritually prepared to stand firm with patient endurance. (Revelation 17:14) In the midst of gross demonic darkness that covers the earth, the righteous will shine as a bright becon light emanating the glory and peace of Yahveh. (see Isaiah 60:1) Though “peace will be taken from the earth” God’s born again children will have a supernatural peace from the Holy Spirit that will not be shaken or taken away. (Revelation 6:4) Yahshua (Jesus) says, “Shalom peace I leave you, My shalom peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.” (John 14:27) As it is written, “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:3)

Apostle Peter said, “We also have the prophetic message [in the Scriptures] as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place …” (see 2 Peter 1:19) “Certainly the Lord Yahveh does nothing unless He reveals His secret plan to His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7) Their words are a gift to us so that we are not deceived and caught off guard, but have ample warning and time to follow the way of His judgments, which are leading us to the end of the age, giving us the alert that it is time to get ready and be vigilantly waiting for the coming of our King and His righteous Kingdom.

Yahveh [the LORD] is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with His truth”
— Psalm 96:13

Listen to the words of Yahveh Almighty God spoken through the prophets Amos, Isaiah, and Malachi that describe what the end time judgments will be like. “The day of Yahveh [the LORD], … will be as though a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him! Or as though he went into the house, leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him!” (Amos 5:18-19) The Holy One of Israel also prophesied through Isaiah, that the cataclysmic judgments will be inescapable and thorough, “Terror and pit [of destruction] and snare confront you, O inhabitant of the earth. Then it will be that he who flees at the sound of terror will fall into the pit, and he who comes up out of the pit will be caught in the snare; … The earth is split apart, shaken violently, … Its transgression lies heavily upon it, and it will fall and not rise again.” (Isaiah 24:17-20) “For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says Yahveh Sabaoth [who leads the hosts of the armies of heaven].” (Malachi 4:1)

Yahshua (Jesus) proclaimed, “The coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.” (Matthew 24:37) In the time of Noah, before the flood, “Yahveh saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. So Yahveh [the LORD], regretted that He had made human beings on the earth, and His heart was deeply troubled.” (Genesis 6:5-6) He destroyed the earth by the flood, but as Peter saw and proclaimed, in the final judgment it will be by fire.  The Apostle said, “But the day of Yahveh will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God …” (2 Peter 3:10-12)

The omnipotent indignation of the Living Holy God against all sin and sinners can bring the fire from heaven. Likewise, He can use man to set off the weapons of fiery mass destruction. These end time judgments are divinely decreed in the Scripture and therefore irreversible, they cannot be thwarted by prayer. The Eternal God and Creator declared, “Even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before Me, My heart would not go out to this people” “even though Noah, Daniel, and Job prayed it would not change the certainty of the prophesied judgments, they could save only themselves by their righteousness …” (see Jeremiah 15:1-2, Ezekiel 14:20) Thank Yahveh that the blood of Yahshua (Jesus) is on the altar for all those who continue to repent for their ever-present sin nature and are mercifully cleansed and covered in His righteous atoning blood. Yahveh the One True Living God and Creator is the Great Lawgiver and Judge. (James 4:12] He is “holy”, He is “jealous” and “a consuming fire.” “It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Psalm 99:9, Exodus 20:5, Hebrews 12:29,31) In His sovereign righteous indignation, continual judgments, and ultimate wrath, Yahveh God Almighty will destroy and eternally cast out from His holy Presence and Kingdom “all sin and sinners” and all those “who destroyed His earth.” (Psalm 37:38, Revelation 11:18) In infinite love, Yahshua (Jesus) gave His life so our repentant sins would be covered in His blood and we would become, through faith and the indwelling power of His Holy Spirit, supernatural “born again” “new creations”, growing up to bear His identity as children of God. (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17) It is written, “Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through Him!” (Romans 5:9) Those who are “born again” can truly say, “I have been crucified with Messiah; and it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

The Lord Yahveh will be a stronghold in times of trouble”
— Psalm 9:9

The ultimate final judgments are called, “the wrath of the Lamb.” (Revelation 6:16) It will be unimaginable vengeance against all those who rejected Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) sacrificial blood and rose up in defiant pride against His gift of eternal life, and the requirement to be holy because He is a holy God and without holiness no one, [including many superficial professing believers] will see Him. (see John 3:36, 1 Peter 1:15-16) “But the Lord Yahveh sits as King forever; He has established His throne for judgment, And He will judge the world in righteousness; He will execute judgment for the peoples fairly. The Lord Yahveh will also be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble; And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, Yahveh, have not abandoned those who seek You.” (Psalm 9:7-10)

In the light of all the trials and tribulations that will continue to beset this earth, let us take to heart the Messiah’s words. He tells us, “when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near!” (Luke 21:28) “Yahshua is coming for a people who are eagerly waiting for His appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:8) We must “fight the good fight of faith” against our ever present sin nature and the endless distractions, enticements, and preoccupations with this passing world. (1 Timothy 6:12) For those who are “born again” children of the Living God “the earth is not our home”, we are pilgrims just passing through, following our Savior on the narrow spiritual path to the eternal promised land. (John 3:3, 1 Peter 2:11) As it is written, “our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Master Yahshua Messiah.” (Philippians 3:20)  The redeemed children of God “desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore Yahveh is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them [the New Jerusalem].” (Hebrews 11:16)

In the midst of the terrifying end time judgments and desolations we read the righteous remnant are rejoicing. As it is written, “From the ends of the earth we hear songs: “Glory to the Righteous One … “I will exalt You and praise Your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned and prophesied long ago…. Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is Yahveh the Lord; …We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” (Isaiah 24:16, 25:1,9) As we follow the way of Yahveh’s judgments let us rejoice for the joy set before us, the New Jerusalem, the New Heaven and New Earth the eternal Kingdom of Righteousness that has no end. (Revelation 21)  “And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. Yahveh Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” (Revelation 21:3-5) “He who testifies to all these prophecies from beginning to end says, “Surely, I am coming quickly!” The redeemed remnant say, “Amen. Even so, come, Master Yahshua!” And the Holy Spirit says, “The grace of Yahshua Messiah be with you all.” (Revelation 22:20,21)

let us pray:

Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You that Your Spirit is urging me to take my focus off this earth that is reeling under Your prophesied judgments. I know it is time for me to get all of my hopes, desires, and the source of my peace and joy out of this shaking world, and placed on Yahshua (Jesus), the immovable Rock of my salvation. Father, I want to have faith that is pleasing in Your sight, a faith that will not shake or shatter. My beloved Savior, You said, “the one who endures to the end will be saved.” Oh my God, I am weak, please help me to have faith that is so strong and established that it can withstand the testings, trials, and tribulations that are coming on this earth. Your Word says, “If I don’t stand by faith I won’t stand at all.” I confess to You that my faith has been superficial and shallow, it has not been deeply rooted in wholehearted love and obedience to You and Your Word. Please forgive me for not obeying Your expressed requirement to deny myself, pick up my cross daily, and follow You.  I am so sorry that I have been focused on myself, the world, and other people, rather than committed to seeking You with all my heart and following You at any cost. I have been half hearted and double minded.  I have not wanted to pay the price to truly surrender my life and entrust it into Your care.

Even though I call You my “Lord and Savior,” I know I have grieved Your Holy Spirit by being half hearted and hypocritical in my spiritual walk. I have not loved, sought, and obeyed You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Yahshua (Jesus), I confess that You have not been my first and foremost love and the utmost focus of my life. I repent for being self centered, self seeking, and people pleasing, with constant desires and preoccupations for the things of this passing world.  Holy Spirit, I know You are urging me to present my life to You as a living sacrifice for my Savior’s eternal purposes and the Father’s glory.  I desire to live the rest of my life, by the power of Your Spirit, in surrender and wholehearted service to You.

Are you ready and waiting for your glorious soon coming Savior? The hour is late and YAHshua (Jesus) said now is the day of salvation - if you hear his voice do not harden your heart. Simply, it's nearly midnight. Indeed, the clock is ticking, the grains of sand are falling in the hourglass; very little time is left! We are exhorted “to redeem the time for the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16). An important question is the following: “what are you doing that is of eternal value at this critical juncture in world history and its threshold into eternity?” YAHshua (Jesus) proclaimed that, “The kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish (did not understand the importance of being ready for Our Savior’s return), and five were prudent. Simply, when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep; But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour” (Matthew 25:1-13). Simply, stay awake in the spirit for a new day is coming that the entire world will see. Yes, our King is coming at Midnight – be ready, waiting, and wise, because it is truly nearly midnight!

As the New Testament proclaims, “The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light” (Romans 13:12). As such, the Mighty One, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, is wooing a remnant, to be reconciled to Him and one another, a holy and righteous remnant, who will know and worship Him in spirit and in truth. It should be each of our prayer that the Spirit of Truth will take the whole hearted seeker of the Most High on a pilgrimage onward and upward on the “Highway of Holiness.” Indeed, the Almighty is continually crying out, “Come out of the world and be separate and holy.” It’s almost midnight – our Savior’s soon-coming return is upon us and this song and ministry is here to help each and every heart that longs to answer this call! Simply, be ready and waiting for our Savior’s soon coming return for it is almost midnight! Indeed, let us all be ready for the coming for the Kingdom – yes, let us all be ready for the coming of the King!
