Prayer to Bring Renewed Hope and Joy

Prayer to Bring Renewed Hope and Joy

I repent to You for being double minded, confessing You as my God and Savior, but allowing the selfish inclinations of my heart to lead and guide me rather than Your Holy Spirit.

Yahshua (Jesus) You are calling me to draw near to You and to look at my “self-nature” as the biggest enemy of my life, because it takes me away from my wholehearted focus and love for You. I repent to You for being double minded, confessing You as my God and Savior, but allowing the selfish inclinations of my heart to lead and guide me rather than Your Holy Spirit. Please forgive me for denying Your rightful place as ruler over my redeemed life and for taking lightly such a great salvation, purchased by Your sacrificial holy blood. You made it very clear that if I want to follow You I need to deny myself daily and pick up my crucifixion stake, putting to death all the temptations, attitudes, mindsets, and desires of my old flesh nature. Please help me to submit and surrender my life to the control of Your loving powerful Holy Spirit who wants to lead me to obedience to seek and obey Your word and Your will. Yahshua (Jesus) I am sorry that I have not denied myself and because of this I have denied You, my blessed Savior. I know that time is short and You are calling me to number my days so that I might be wise in how I live my life for You. Holy Spirit please help me to keep my focus, affection, and attention on the light filled heaven above rather than this passing dark world that You redeemed me to come out of.

Thank you for giving Your life and shedding Your blood to cover my repentant sins and to send Your Spirit to dwell in me making me a born again new creation bearing Your identity. I submit and surrender to Your Holy Spirit’s rightful dominion over my redeemed life, that belongs to You, and You alone. Help me to daily flee from everything that would entice me and pull me back into the flesh and the world. I need Your help and the grace and power of the Holy Spirit to continually fight this good fight of faith and be the victor and not the victim of sin and its eternal wages in Hell.

I understand that working out my salvation is a process of Your mercy to convict me of my sins, leading me to repent that I am covered in Your blood, and through Your blood I am forgiven and clothed in Your righteousness and seen as holy in My Heavenly Fathers sight”

I set my heart to communicate with You through prayer and the reading of Your word. I want to know what pleases You and by the power of your Spirit to do Your will and deny my own self will, understanding that it is an enemy to Your holy purposes for my ransomed life. Please continue to fill my heart with godly sorrow that leads to true repentance whenever I fall short of You holy word and will. As You convict me of my sin and Your righteousness and judgment to come, I feel so unworthy to be called Your child. Thank You that If I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive my sins and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Thank You for having such loving kindness and mercy towards me, a wretched sinner, restoring me to a place of peace and fullness of joy. I know I am a forgiven child because of Your unfailing love for me. I understand that working out my salvation is a process of Your mercy to convict me of my sins, leading me to repent that I am covered in Your blood, and through Your blood I am forgiven and clothed in Your righteousness and seen as holy in My Heavenly Fathers sight. May I never take lightly such a great salvation as I walk with a humble and a contrite heart that trembles at Your word and wants to please You at any cost be found faithful and holy when I appear before You at the judgment seat. You purchased me with Your outpoured life, Your precious blood redeemed me to belong to You. It is true, as the word says, “I am not my own. I have been bought with a price and therefore I want to glorify You through my words and deeds as long as I live in this body, preparing and hoping to hear You say, “well done good and faithful servant.”
