Audio: Wake Up!

If you are gambling your life away, this message is for you. One day you will stand before the judgment seat, and your own life will testify against you”

- 2 Corinthians 5:10 -

“In the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation.” (2 Peter 3-4)

Many scoffers operate under the illusion that they have endless time to serve Yahveh and get their lives in order. They are gambling away their lives, hooked on the enemy's distractions. They are pouring their lives out on the altar of the world, sacrificing their time to build their own kingdoms, or they are just trying to survive without trusting Yahveh to provide. (Mark 4:18-19, 1 John 2:15-17) If you are gambling your life away, this message is for you. One day you will stand before the judgment seat, and your own life will testify against you. (2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 20:12) You will be exposed as someone who did not believe Yahveh’s word and refused to invest your God given breath, gifts, and life into His kingdom. (John 8:45-46, Matthew 25:14-30)

This tragic gambler mirrors the man in the parable who buried his single talent. He sorrowfully represents the multitudes of believers who will never hear their Father say, "Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your master." (Matthew 25:14-30) That blessing is reserved for the wise stewards who loved Yahshua (Jesus) and labored with Him to bring in an eternal harvest. The person who views his life as his own never realizes what a gift he has received. Instead of investing it for eternal rewards, he spends his life entirely on himself. (John 12:25) Going to church or staying home won't matter in the end. All that will matter is one question: What did you do with the life He gave you?

We must each understand that a scoffing spirit is a weapon of the enemy used to keep believers trapped in complacency”

- 2 Peter 3:3 -

Yahshua gave His life completely to glorify the Father and to save us from eternal damnation, leaving us a perfect example to follow. (John 17:1-4, 1 John 2:6) The one who takes his life and buries it fails to follow Him. (Matthew 25:18) He will be buried in eternal separation, fully alive to the agonizing reality that he gambled his soul away to hell. We must each understand that a scoffing spirit is a weapon of the devil, used to keep believers trapped in complacency. (2 Peter 3:3) Our Savior warned us to, “watch for the signs of His return and to look up, for our redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:28) This requires us to repent and actively “work out our salvation with fear and trembling." (Philippians 2:12) However, a scoffing spirit lies to us, claiming that life will continue as normal and that we have endless time to fulfill our personal ambitions. (Revelation 12:9) This deception targets professing believers, lulling them into a false sense of security just like the five foolish virgins in Yahshua’s parable. (Matthew 25:1-13) They expected the Bridegroom, but they did not prepare for His arrival. They failed to cultivate a deep relationship with Him, believing they could get right at the very last minute.

The scoffing spirit must be confronted because it is a major tactic the enemy uses to cause procrastination. The scoffing spirit is keeping you addicted to dissipation and the things of this world, and you don't realize that it's now or never. Very soon, there will be no time left. The scoffing spirit sent by Satan is just part of his deceptive tactics to keep you believing that life will always go on as usual. A lie from the pit of hell.“Wake up, professing believers!! (Romans 13:11) For so many of you, Your empty words and religious rituals are not a ticket to heaven. (Matthew 7:21-23) The Spirit calls for a complete transformation—a crucified life. (Galatians 5:24) If you are not picking up your crucifixion stake daily and letting the Spirit lead you, you are trapped by the flesh. (Luke 9:23)

If you are not picking up your crucifixion stake daily and letting the Spirit lead you, you are trapped by the flesh.”

- Luke 9:23 -

We are running out of time. True believers aren't just 'good people'; they are born again spiritual new creations, crucified to the world, and focused solely on Yahshua (Jesus). (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 6:14-15) Stop making excuses, stop justifying your worldly desires, and start putting to death the flesh by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:13) Repent and follow Him fully. (Acts 26:20) You cannot truly know the Holy Spirit or identify your own sin without being born again. (1 Corinthians 2:14) True conversion means the Spirit leads you into righteousness and convicts you, while a little church attendance filled with worldly living is just rebellion that leads to bondage. (John 16:8-10, Revelation 3:15-16) "God cannot be mocked if you sow to your flesh you will reap destruction." (Galatians 6:7-8) If your heart is not fully yielded in obedience, you are not headed heavenward. (Matthew 7:21) The Holy Spirit is calling you to repentance. It is time to follow Yahshua entirely, before it is too late. (Luke 13:3, Matthew 16:24)

When we live in the flesh rather than the Spirit, we sow to the flesh. (Galatians 6:8) The only harvest our flesh will yield is unholy fruit, more carnal living, and destruction. Yahshua (Jesus) came so that we would deny ourselves, make no provision for the flesh, and treat it as our archenemy. (Romans 13:14) We are called to take up our crucifixion stake daily so that Yahshua can live through His born-again children. (Luke 9:23, Galatians 2:20) He purchased us with His precious blood, we are not our own. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) Out of love, we must follow Him on that narrow path that leads to life. (John 14:15, Matthew 7:14) Messiah warned that many would want to enter His kingdom but fail because they refuse to strive with every fiber of their being to walk as He walked. (Luke 13:24, 1 John 2:6) On that day, many will cry, 'Lord, Lord,' only to hear the terrifying words, 'I never knew you.' (Matthew 7:21-23) They wanted a heavenly insurance policy without full surrender, falling prey to the enemy's lies. To enter His kingdom, we must fully yield our lives so His Spirit can live through us. (Galatians 2:20) We need to pray for deliverance from the flesh and its desires. (Matthew 26:41, Galatians 5:16-25)

Yahshua (Jesus) came so that we would deny ourselves, make no provision for the flesh, and treat it as our archenemy”

- Romans 13:14 -

“Now is the day of salvation. If you hear His voice, don't harden your heart.” (2 Corinthians 6:2) The scoffers harden their hearts, they'll be ready to hear His voice when they feel like time's up. If you claim to be a believer, but live with your mind on earthly things, your heart, thoughts, and words are still driven by your fallen sin nature. Remember, that Yahshua died to deliver you from its wages, which is eternal separation in hell. (Romans 6:23) But if you keep backsliding into the flesh, you will fall. You are called to keep your thoughts on eternal things and to “set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Colossians 3:2) You should be pouring out your life as a drink offering on the altar, allowing others to live because Yahshua is exalted through your crucified life. (Philippians 2:17) To repeat, when everything you think, desire, touch, hear, see, and do is driven by the flesh rather than the Holy Spirit, you remain in your fallen nature. You can teach and preach perfectly, but without a Spirit-empowered life, your words are just an echo—empty of the truth your life should be demonstrating. As the word says, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Having ears that heard, but really didn't hear to obey, and eyes that could not see the light of the true, crucified Yahshua (Jesus). (1 Corinthians 2:9)

You must stay vigilant, denying yourself daily! If you do not keep your flesh in check, it will drag you back into sin and cause you to fall from grace. You will drift away from the Spirit of truth and separate yourself from Yahshua. Returning to your old ways leaves you in a worse state than before you knew Him. By trampling His blood under your wayward feet, the second death awaits you. (Hebrews 10:29) The first death came from the first Adam. Now the second death comes, because you denied the second Adam, Yahshua (Jesus) and His blood cries out against you. (Romans 5:12, 1 Corinthians 15:45)

Sadly, many people we love are going to wait too long. If they can't let go of their idols, repent, and turn to God now, time will run out. Luke 19:27 gives a sobering reminder of what happens to those who refuse Yahshua’s leadership: ‘But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.

Stop gambling with your soul! Do not let the enemy continually blind you to the signs of the times. We must walk in constant readiness for His return, making every effort to be spotless and blameless before Him. (2 Peter 3:14)
