It's About Time to Know About Time

It's About Time to Know About Time

Revelation 12:12

It is about time to know about time. There is an urgency most believers are feeling. We are able to recognize the signs of the times, and we want to make every minute count that we have left on this earth. We are to “Awake, sleeper [wake up to the reality time is short]…making the most of your time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:14,16) Don’t be foolish; be wise—”hunger and thirst after righteousness” and be filled and blessed by our master Yahshua (Jesus), and “hold out the word of truth” to other people so they might come and worship our omnipotent King and the Redeemer of our souls. (Matthew 5:6, Philippians 2:16)

From here to eternity, the call of the redeemed is to give Him all the love, praise, honor, glory, worship, and dominion that is due to Him. In Revelation 4:8-11, we read about the heavenly winged creatures that, “…day and night they do not cease to say, ‘Holy, holy, holy is Yahveh God Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come. And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne and will worship Him who lives forever and ever, casting their crowns before the throne, saying, ‘Worthy are You, our Lord (Master) and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.’”

While this angelic worship of the eternal King is going on in heaven simultaneously we have “the prince of the air”, Satan and his fallen angels working on this earth. (Ephesians 2:2) Apostle Paul cautions us not to be unaware of the enemy’s schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), lest we fall prey to deception. It is a grievous reality that Satan and his demons are attempting and succeeding through the liberal progressive “politically correct global agenda,” in eradicating the knowledge and worship of the one true living God, the Creator of heaven and earth. With this agenda, he and his demons are literally robbing Yahveh of all the love, praise, honor, glory and dominion that are due to Him from a growing majority of the earth’s deceived inhabitants.

At the core of this global strategy is Satan’s prophesied short-lived conquest and dominion over this earth. (see Revelation 13:7) “Woe to the earth … because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short” (Revelation 12:12) and he is raging in an all out effort to deceive and destroy and bring his victims into eternal darkness and torment. Yahveh (the LORD) warned through many of his prophets, “Terror and pit and snare await you, O inhabitants of the earth.” (Isaiah 24:17) This in and of itself is the wake up call to true believers who have an attentive ear to hear what the Spirit is saying in this late hour. This watchful and waiting remnant is drawing closer to their beloved King and Savior living with their hope fixed on seeing and being with Him in His glorious kingdom when He comes for His called out chosen elect. They are forsaking everything to wholeheartedly love, obey and follow their beloved Savior and Good Shepherd to the end of the age into His eternal kingdom.

Let us look at some key verses from the book of Revelation, “And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; and he said in a loud voice, ‘Fear Yahveh (the LORD), and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.’” (Revelation 14:6-7) Fear Yahveh at the close of the age, as judgments have crossed the threshold and are in the door. The eternal gospel has been proclaimed, but what has come forth has fallen short of the glory of God in many cases.

Fearing almighty Yahveh is something that belongs to Him, and we are specifically talking about what the thief Satan has stolen from Him. The Scriptures say that, “the fear of Yahveh (the LORD] is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10). “…you are not to fear what they fear or be in dread of it. It is Yahveh of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, and He shall be your dread.” (Isaiah 8:12-13) A great tribulation is coming; “man’s hands will go limp” (Isaiah 13:7), they will cry out to the hills, “Fall upon me” (Hosea 10:8); they will fear and dread what is coming on the face of the earth. There is an epidemic of fear and terror in the world, and it will grow stronger and stronger. May our merciful God and Savior bundle up all of our fears that have nothing to do with Him, and may we have reverential awe and fear of the Holy One only.

With the intensities of the judgments that are coming and the epidemics of terror and fear they will bring, Yahveh (the LORD) reminds us that there is peace when we fear Him alone. “Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With a long life I will satisfy him and let him see My salvation.” (Psalm 91:14-16) Our holy God is saying that when judgments come, “tell the righteous, those who do His will, it will be well with them” (see Isaiah 3:10) He will hide them under the shadow of His wings, because they fear Him.

“Who understands the power of Your anger and your fury, according to the fear that is due You?” (Psalm 90:11) The Holy King says it; fear is due to Him, it is reverential awe. He is holy, and He will judge us in sovereignty according to the way we walk regarding His commandments. We have Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) redeeming blood to cleanse us when He points out and convicts us of our sins, weaknesses, and shortcomings. Yahveh is not a man who lies when He says to fear Him and gain wisdom so that you might do His will and not be judged for unrighteousness. Give Him His due! The fear of Yahveh [the LORD] will keep you from defaming and dishonoring Him. It will keep you as an instrument of righteousness through which He is glorified.

May the fear of Yahveh God be given to us in its fullest measure. “Teach us to number our days that we may present to You a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12) “Who will not fear, O Yahveh, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; for all the nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.” (Revelation 15:4) Those who are walking in Yahveh’s ways when judgments fall will be able to exalt their righteous King who has revealed His righteousness through judgment on the wicked.

Prayer

My prayer along with King David’s heart cry: Yahveh (the LORD) is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Yahveh is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, In spite of this I shall be confident. One thing I have asked from Yahveh, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of Yahveh [the LORD] all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Yahveh And to meditate in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, And I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to Yahveh. Hear, O Yahveh, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and answer me. When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O Yahveh (O LORD), I shall seek.” Do not hide Your face from me, Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not abandon me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation! For my father and my mother have forsaken me, But Yahveh will take me up. Teach me Your way, O Yahveh, And lead me in a level path because of my foes. Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, For false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence. I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of Yahveh In the land of the living. Wait for Yahveh [the LORD]; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for Yahveh. (Psalm 27)

Heavenly Father, You have revealed more truth. You are making me aware of Your eternal plans as well as the plans of the Evil One. I thank You that I am redeemed and protected by the blood of the Lamb. Please help me to be wise in these perilous times that I will not fall into any form of deception or fall prey to the enemy’s wicked schemes. Thank You that the truth is setting me free and opening the eyes of my understanding that I will worship and praise You in spirit and truth and serve You because I love You. Yahveh (LORD) you are making it clear how important it is to be awake and to redeem the time to Your praise, honor, and glory.

May “the fear of Yahveh (the LORD) … the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10)—which is greater in value than any earthly treasures be what I seek after O Yahveh my God and Redeemer.  May I along with the righteous redeemed lovingly fear You and glorify Your name in word and deed.
