"That I May Gain Messiah"

“That I May Gain Messiah”

- Philippians 3:8 -

Praise be to Yahveh who causes us to triumph over this wretched flesh, the world, Satan, and the thoughts of mankind, including our own thoughts. All of which are nothing but stumbling blocks. That is why Paul says, “I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Messiah Yahshua (Jesus) my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Messiah” (Philippians 3:8). Everything we used to consider important is to be refuse and fit for the dung heap. There is no sting of death for those who are already living in the Spirit, because they taste death day in and day out by dying to the flesh. We cannot remain carnally minded. The enemy of the Spirit is our flesh, which can not do the will of our Father.

“We are to love Yahveh our God (Elohim) with all our hearts, all our souls, all our might, and all of our strength, and we are to love our neighbor as our self” (Matthew 22:37-39). This love encompasses all the Ten Commandments—and our carnal nature cannot do this. Messiah had to die to atone for our sins because it is impossible for flesh and blood to be holy. Only our spirit can be holy because it is the Spirit of Yahshua (Jesus). Only He can live a holy life through us as we “fight the good fight of faith” and crucify, impale, and destroy the carnal nature resulting in immortality and holiness (1 Timothy 6:12). HalleluYAH!

Do not think that our Savior came to destroy or abolish the law summarized in the Commandments that were placed in the ark, the throne of Yahveh. He came to fulfill them”
— Matthew 5:17

The book of Deuteronomy centers on the very plumb line and measuring standard by which Yahveh (the Lord) is going to judge this world in righteousness—His Ten Commandments. This is how we are to be diligent and judge ourselves lest we be judged by the Almighty’s plumb line of truth. Do not think that our Savior came to destroy or abolish the law summarized in the Commandments that were placed in the ark, the throne of Yahveh. He came to fulfill them (Matthew 5:17). Hear the word of the Holy One, “Assemble the people, the men and the women and children and the alien who is in your town, so that they may hear and learn and fear Yahveh your God and be careful to observe all the words of this law. Their children, who have not known, will hear and learn to fear Yahveh your God, as long as you live…” (Deuteronomy 31:12-13). HalleluYAH— meaning “praise be to Yahveh”!
