Don't Wait, It's Almost Too Late!

You must be ready, prepared, and waiting for Him, if indeed Yahshua (Jesus) is your utmost love, primary focus, and treasure of your life, now and eternally”
— Hebrews 9:28

The Holy Spirit is giving us a merciful alert at this critical juncture at the end of the age. The prophesied judgements have already begun, and these are indicators to God’s children that it is time, as our Savior proclaimed, to “straighten up [repent and be holy] and lift up your heads [focus on the Messiah and His Kingdom of righteousness], because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:28) Yahshua (Jesus) is reminding us “It is given to man to die once and then the judgment seat.” (Hebrews 9:27) He is beseeching us to keep our focus heavenward and on the imminent reality that “we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah [Christ], so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good [produced by His Spirit] or bad [produced by our flesh nature].” (2 Corinthians 5:10) “The Spirit, our Helper”, is urging us to reassess our lives, whether they are being lived for the here and now on earth or for the hereafter in the Kingdom of God. (John 14:26) He gives us the necessary power and grace to put all of our focus, affection, and “treasures in heaven” because Yahshua (Jesus) is “coming at a time that we do not expect.” (See Matthew 6:20, 24:44) Messiah said to His redeemed children, “What I say to you I say to all: Stay awake” and keep watch in the Spirit. (Mark 13:37) You must be ready, prepared, and waiting for Him, if indeed Yahshua (Jesus) is your utmost love, primary focus, and treasure of your life, now and eternally. As it is written, Messiah [Christ] was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those [a righteous redeemed remnant] who are eagerly [with wholehearted love and unwavering faith] waiting for him.” (Hebrews 9:28)

Grievously, so many professing believers never mature because they did not take to heart and obey Yahshua’s foundational mandate, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me”
— Matthew 16:24

Time is of the essence, no time to waste, the prophet’s words make it clear that destruction and desolation awaits the people of the earth. It is written, “Terror and pit and snare await you O inhabitant of the earth.” “The present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly people.” (Isaiah 24:17, 2 Peter 3:7) In the Scripture it is emphasized that “judgment begins at the household of God.” (1 Peter 4:17) Yahshua (Jesus) died to redeem us out of our natural flesh nature and this passing world to grow up as supernatural “born again” “new creations'', to bear His identity so that He would be the “firstborn among many brothers and sisters” in His Father’s Kingdom. (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:29)  Grievously, so many professing believers never mature, because they did not take to heart and obey Yahshua’s foundational mandate, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” (Matthew 16:24) Consequently, they continually backslide into their old self-centered nature with its insatiable desires and preoccupations with this temporal world that is doomed for destruction. This religious hypocrisy defames Yahshua (Jesus) and “insults the Spirit of grace.” (Hebrews 10:29) Of the many who profess Him as Lord and Savior so few truly uphold the first and most vital commandment, “You shall love Yahveh [the LORD] your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30) The prophesied great falling away [apostasy] is full blown and now easy to detect like “the tares amongst the wheat" in the harvest field. (2 Thessalonians 2:3, Matthew 13:24-30) There is so much compromise and superficial empty forms of religion, that many churches and believers have lost the power of the glorious presence of the Holy Spirit. To the compromised, half hearted, religious masses Yahshua (Jesus) says, “You confess me with your lips but your heart is far away from Me … and your worship of Me is in vain.” (Matthew 15:8-9) How much defamation and sorrow this is causing our Father, our Savior, and the Holy Spirit!!!

Wisdom dictates that God’s children sober up to the reality that our days are numbered, our breaths are numbered, and the days of this earth are numbered”
— Proverbs 9:10, Psalm 139:16, Matthew 24:35, Revelation 21:1

Yahshua (Jesus) said He must be our “first love.” (Revelation 2:4) We either fulfill the commandment “to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength” or we desire someone or something more than Him. (Mark 12:30) Our Savior made this emphatic declaration for all to obey, “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate [lightly esteem in comparison to Him] his father and mother, husband, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.” (Luke 14:26) This is the second foundational mandate by which to be His disciple. Unless Yahveh, by the Spirit, builds the house on these foundations of biblical truth the laborers labor in vain producing a counterfeit form of religion. (See Psalm 127:1)  “It is written that “the fear of Yahveh God is the beginning of wisdom.” (Proverbs 9:10) Wisdom dictates that God’s children sober up to the reality that our days are numbered, our breaths are numbered, and the days of this earth are numbered!  (Proverbs 9:10, Psalm 139:16, Matthew 24:35, Revelation 21:1) With the light of wisdom shining on our path following our Savior, what are you going to do with the remainder of your time, energy, life, breath, talents, and resources?  It is unwise and downright insane to invest our lives in this doomed shaky world. Yahveh Almighty proclaimed, “I am going to shake the heavens and the earth” and “remove what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain,” that is, all those who are established firmly in the Holy Spirit of truth. (Haggai 2:21, Hebrews 12:27)

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, …But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also”
— Matthew 6:19-21

The rampant sin, on this demonically infested earth, under Satan’s dominion has provoked Yahveh Almighty to righteous indignation. There is a cup of fury in His hand and the foam of His fury is pouring out destruction and will continue until the cup is drained down to the dregs of utter desolation of the earth. (See Psalm 75:8, Isaiah 51:17, Revelation 14:10)  The Messiah’s words of warning to us are, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, …But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21) The righteous remnant have made Yahshua (Jesus) their “exceedingly great reward” and utmost love of their lives. (Genesis 15:1) Their treasures and hearts are above with Yahshua (Jesus) in the Spirit. But those who do not have their treasures above will be exceedingly sorrowful at the judgment seat, because the treasures of their lives were on the shaky quicksand of this earth and will not last unto eternity.

It is almost midnight, it is almost too late.  Once we breathe our last breath and leave these bodies and this earth, it will be too late. We must “work out our salvation with fear and trembling” now, this side of the judgment seat, while we still have the merciful gift of time. (Philippians 2:12). There is utmost mercy in the word “almost”, because the day will come when it will no longer be almost too late, it will be too late! Many say, “I love God and want to go to heaven, but not right now.” But the Holy Spirit says, “NOW is the day of salvation, if you hear His voice do not harden your heart” with prideful rebellion. (2 Corinthians 6:2) There will be unceasing grief and sorrow for many at the judgment seat because they squandered their lives for this passing world instead of wholeheartedly developing an intimate obedient relationship with their Savior. They loved the world and other people more than they loved Him, because their treasures were on earth and so were their hearts.

Sorrow, lamentation, and grief will last eternally for those who squandered their lives for that which they could see, feel, and touch of this passing world, instead of loving the One by faith who gave His life that they could live with Him forever”

The issue is, where your treasures are, that is where your heart is going to be. If your treasures are on earth, your heart is there. You can say how much you love Him, but He sees your heart; what you desire and what and who you love more than Him, which makes it an idol in His holy sight. (Exodus 20:3-4) This grieves and angers the Holy Spirit who is “jealous for us as a bridegroom over his bride.” (see 2 Corinthians 11:2). The condition of our heart and the treasures we cling to will not change after we leave this earth and then appear before the judgment seat when it will be too late to repent and make eternally wise investments. The verdict will be sealed. It is written, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14) As Yahshua (Jesus) warned there will be many who call Him “Lord and Savior”, yet they will hear Him say, “away from Me you hypocrite, you evildoer, you did not do the will of My Father, I don’t know you, you will be assign to a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 25:23, 7:21-23, Luke 13:27-28, Mark 9:48, Matthew 24:51) Sorrow, lamentation, and grief will last eternally for those who squandered their lives for that which they could see, feel, and touch of this passing world, instead of loving the One by faith who gave His life that they could live with Him forever.

But the good news is, there is still time to turn to Yahshua (Jesus) with all your heart, to repent for your self-centered, compromised, worldly ways, and surrender your life to Him once and for all. Your sins will be washed away, and He will clothe you in His righteousness, adding “go and sin no more.” (2 Corinthians 5:21, John 8:11) Messiah says, “The one who is forgiven much loves much.” (Luke 7:47) Our Savior will cause you to love Him more and draw you so close that you can quickly make that shift from the world into the Spirit and develop that intimate relationship while there is still time. We must find out what is pleasing to Him according to His word and will in order to be found pure and holy in His sight when we stand before Him at the judgment seat. (Philippians 2:12)  Make the most of every opportunity while you are still here on earth. Don’t wait, it is almost too late!

A prayerful response to the Holy Spirit’s alert, “Don’t Wait, It’s Almost Too Late!”

My Father in heaven, I pray that You will help me to live the rest of my life for Your eternal and holy purposes. Yahshua (Jesus), You said that where our treasures are, that is where our heart will be. I don’t want to leave my heart in treasures in this passing world, that as prophesied, will be under the rubble of judgment and destruction. I need the help, power, and grace of Your Spirit to shift my focus, affection, and treasures above in Heaven, where they will last eternally. Please forgive me for walking on the broad path of this world and not following You on the narrow path that leads into Your righteous Kingdom. You redeemed me to become a spiritually born again holy child of God, learning to walk not after the flesh but in the Spirit. If I am not truly born again of Your Spirit, I want to be. Please help me and forgive me of my sins and spiritual failures that have grieved You by denying the rulership of the Holy Spirit. I repent, I have sinned against You Yahshua (Jesus), by wasting so much of my life, being preoccupied with self-seeking gratifications in this temporary world that You died to redeem me to come out of.

My Savior, search my heart and convict me of my sin, and Your righteousness, and Your judgments to come. Please create in me a pure heart, where You alone are my utmost love, foremost desire, and my true source of everlasting joy. I am in need of Your sacrificial blood to cleanse me of all the ways that I have sinned against You. Forgive me for living in my flesh, looking for the joys and thrills for “what’s next” on earth, rather than living in the Spirit looking heavenward and making You my exceedingly great reward. I don’t want to have any outstanding sin that will testify against me when I stand before You, the Eternal Lawgiver and Judge, at the judgment seat.

Yahshua (Jesus), I thank You for waking me up with the spiritual alarm clock sounding, “it’s midnight, don’t wait, it’s almost too late.” I now recognize the urgency to surrender my life, to get in order with You under the rulership of the Holy Spirit. Please, stir up within me a hunger and a thirst to read Your word and to seek Your will, so I can walk in agreement with You. In the Scripture You warned that there would be so many believers who would call You“Lord and Savior” but would squander their lives, living in the flesh, and the world. Please forgive and help me to not fall into that category of grieving Your Holy Spirit. You are a holy God and You said that without holiness no one will see You or live in Your Kingdom.

Thank you for hearing my heart cries of repentance and for cleansing me with Your precious blood, clothing me with Your righteousness, and filling me afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Thank you for sending me “the Helper” who gives me the grace and power to be more than a conqueror over my flesh, the world’s pulls, and Satan’s deceptive enticements. I am eternally indebted to You for dying for my sins to redeem my soul. With Your merciful help, I can follow You, Yahshua (Jesus), in surrendered obedience and victorious faith. I am longing to hear You say, “Well done, My good and faithful servant.”

Are you ready and waiting for your glorious soon coming Savior? The hour is late and YAHshua (Jesus) said now is the day of salvation - if you hear his voice do not harden your heart. Simply, it's nearly midnight. Indeed, the clock is ticking, the grains of sand are falling in the hourglass; very little time is left! We are exhorted “to redeem the time for the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16). An important question is the following: “what are you doing that is of eternal value at this critical juncture in world history and its threshold into eternity?” YAHshua (Jesus) proclaimed that, “The kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish (did not understand the importance of being ready for Our Savior’s return), and five were prudent. Simply, when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep; But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour” (Matthew 25:1-13). Simply, stay awake in the spirit for a new day is coming that the entire world will see. Yes, our King is coming at Midnight – be ready, waiting, and wise, because it is truly nearly midnight!

As the New Testament proclaims, “The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light” (Romans 13:12). As such, the Mighty One, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, is wooing a remnant, to be reconciled to Him and one another, a holy and righteous remnant, who will know and worship Him in spirit and in truth. It should be each of our prayer that the Spirit of Truth will take the whole hearted seeker of the Most High on a pilgrimage onward and upward on the “Highway of Holiness.” Indeed, the Almighty is continually crying out, “Come out of the world and be separate and holy.” It’s almost midnight – our Savior’s soon-coming return is upon us and this song and ministry is here to help each and every heart that longs to answer this call! Simply, be ready and waiting for our Savior’s soon coming return for it is almost midnight! Indeed, let us all be ready for the coming of the Kingdom – yes, let us all be ready for the coming of the King!
