Deny Ourselves or Deny Our Savior

Deny Ourselves or Deny Our Savior

If we are not “working out our salvation, with fear and trembling,” we will backslide and fall away onto the “broad path that leads to destruction”, regardless of how sincere we think we are about our relationship with our Savior.

Many professing believers are unaware of the fundamental and foundational mandates of what the true spiritual walk following the Savior requires. Yahshua (Jesus) the Messiah said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) If we are not walking in obedience to His foundational truths that compel us to “work out our salvation, with fear and trembling,” we will backslide and fall away onto the “broad path that leads to destruction”, regardless of how sincere we think we are about our relationship with our Savior. (Philippians 2:12, Matthew 7:13) The love of Yahshua (Jesus), through the power of His Spirit, is urgently sounding an alarm to stop His redeemed on their reckless paths. So many who call Him Lord and Savior are unknowingly deceived and falling back into Satan’s dominion and kingdom of darkness. Yahshua (Jesus) grieves over all those who profess to know and love Him, yet they have turned their backs on Him, going back into the flesh and the world, which He died to deliver them out of. Due to this reality, so many of God’s children are like little sheep that have strayed from the Good Shepherd of their souls. (John 10:11-18) The storm clouds are gathering and Yahshua (Jesus), the Good Shepherd, is urgently going after His stray sheep to bring them into safe pasture and establish them in biblical truth, so that they can follow Him on “the narrow path that leads to eternal life.” (Matthew 18:12, 7:14)

“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate [lightly esteem] his own father, mother, [husband] wife, children, brothers, sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple”
— Luke 14:26

During Messiah's ministry on earth, He spoke as to little children and He established the ABC requirements to be His disciples and follow Him. Yahshua (Jesus) clearly laid out the foundation so that no one could miss it, because only He knows the way into His Father’s Kingdom. The following biblical mandates have never been optional, they are foundational and absolutely indisputable requirements for the true holy walk following Yahshua (Jesus). They all pivot from “You shall love Yahveh [the LORD] your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength and love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mark 12:30) This summarizes all the commandments and the Savior’s mandates, which are based on these principals of love to follow Yahshua (Jesus). People have made the following basic ABC biblical requirements into the PHD philosophical department, as something you can never reach or understand. That is the work of the Enemy.

Open up your ears to hear and heed our Savior’s proclamation to all, saying, “If anyone wants to follow Me [out of the flesh, out of the world, into the Spirit, into the eternal Righteous Kingdom] he “must deny himself, take up his cross (crucifixion stake) daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life [in this world] will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.” (Luke 9:23-24) “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” (Matthew 19:29) Yahshua (Jesus) also made it clear “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate [lightly esteem] his own father, mother, [husband] wife, children, brothers, sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.” (Luke 14:26) It is important to understand when Yahshua (Jesus) uses the word hate, He is teaching that we are to consider as secondary our beloved family, friends, and even our own life. In our “good fight of faith” we must diligently guard our hearts and minds from all competing affections and focus for anyone and anything that would keep Yahshua (Jesus) from being our first, foremost, and eternal love of our lives. (1 Timothy 6:12, Revelation 2:4)

As supernatural “born again” “new creations,” we have the gift and call to “live in the Spirit,” as we “put to death the deeds of the flesh,” because “the flesh counts for nothing”
— John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 5:25, Romans 8:13, John 6:63

The love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 5:5) It is an all consuming, all compelling, all conquering love for Yahshua (Jesus). This most powerful love, combined with our unwavering faith makes us “more than conquerors” over our selfish sin nature, the world, and Satan. (Romans 8:37) The love of Messiah compels us to continually deny everything that keeps us separated from obeying, serving, and clinging to Him. The power of the love of the Holy Spirit motivates us to “walk as Yahshua (Jesus) walked”, and to “set our minds on things above, not on earthly things”, in order “that we may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.” (1 John 2:6, Colossians 3:2, 4:12) “Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah [Christ] he or she is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) As supernatural “born again” “new creations,” we have the gift and call to “live in the Spirit,” as we “put to death the deeds of the flesh,” because “the flesh counts for nothing.” (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 5:25, Romans 8:13, John 6:63) In reality, the flesh is an enemy that is in opposition to our lives being lived in the Spirit for our God and Savior’s purposes. (John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17) “Our lives are not our own, We were bought at a price.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) We were redeemed to serve Yahshua (Jesus), “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other.” (Matthew 6:24) We are either going to deny ourselves and serve Him or we will deny our Savior and serve ourselves. We will be saying yes to the one we love and no to the one we hate.

The counterfeit religion is the self serving religion which is an anti-messiah (antichrist) spirit that disguises itself as a preacher of righteousness. (2 Corinthians 11:14-15) Any preacher who is preaching against the crucified life, and the indulgence of the flesh instead of the denying of the flesh, is a masquerading “angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14) The majority of “professing believers” love it that way because they can continue to live for themselves and the world and think they are going to heaven. In reality, Satan has deceived them and they are on “the broad path” with all the nonbelievers going to the same destination because they are not “born again" “new creations” who will enter heaven. (Matthew 7:13, John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17) They are still living in their flesh and ”flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom.” (1 Corinthians 15:50)

As stated previously, Apostle Paul was very aware of Satan’s strategies, he was afraid that “as the serpent deceived Eve” that the believers were going to be enticed by “seducing spirits” through “doctrines of demons.” (see 2 Corinthians 11:2-3, 1 Timothy 4:1). “The serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world” has not changed his wicked strategies since the Garden of Eden. (Revelation 12:9) Satan continually poses this cunning question and deceptive reasoning in the mind of God’s children, “Did God really say that?” (see Genesis 3:1) In essence he says something like this to our vulnerable minds, “No, it couldn’t be that difficult, He loves you and He wants it to be easy to follow Him. It couldn’t be such a narrow road that only a few could enter. Your Heavenly Father wants you to have blessings here on earth and make it easy for as many people to enter His Kingdom as possible. If it was too difficult, not many people would be able to enter heaven.” Thus says Satan, to anyone who will listen to him and believe his lies.

Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) voice can only be known through the power of His written word that magnifies His voice to His little sheep as He “leads them on paths of righteousness for His name sake” and glory”
— Psalm 23:3

Yahshua (Jesus) refers to the righteous remnant as His “little flock” of sheep. (Luke 12:32) “He goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. “And a stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” (John 10:4-5) Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) voice can only be known through the power of His written word that magnifies His voice to His little sheep as He “leads them on paths of righteousness for His name sake” and glory. (Psalm 23:3) Those who do not know His written word can not possibly recognize His voice. They do not know the Savior intimately, because they have not fulfilled the biblical requirements of what it will cost and truly takes to follow Him. They are easy prey for Satan’s deception who comes in amongst the flock as “a wolf in sheep’s clothing.” (Matthew 7:5) Many are led astray by these counterfeit shepherds and the Good Shepherd, at this late hour, is going to search for His little lost sheep. He is crying out to them, “Wake up, repent, and fill up with the word of Yahveh that you might recognize, hear, heed, and obey My voice, that will bring you safely into My Kingdom.”

So many professing believers have a superficial compromised spiritual walk and they reject the truth because it is in conflict to their self will and its desires for the things of this temporary world. They believe the man-made doctrinal lies that fortify their flesh. They do not have a love for the truth because it does not endorse their pursuits and desire for happiness in the here and now on this earth. Consequently, as the Scripture says, “friendship with the world makes you an enemy to God.” (James 4:4) Whether they know it or not, they have fallen from grace and are not following Yahshua (Jesus), but have gone back to following the enemy of their souls. With the deluge of deception that is continually increasing, the professing believers who do not love the truth and walk in it, will be easily led astray and swept away into the prophesied global religion. So many who have been blinded by a counterfeit Christianity, have not died to their flesh and worldly desires, and many will inevitably “try to save their lives” and take “the mark of the beast.” (Matthew 16:25, Revelation 13:16-17)
