If You Love Me, You Will Obey Me

If You Love Me, You Will Obey Me

Yahveh we love You, we love You. Yahshua (Jesus) says, “If you love Me, obey Me” (see John 14:15). Obey Him; is it such a hard concept? When reading some of the Mosaic law many of us might say, “Wow Yahveh, it’s so intricate, so detailed, so difficult,” and He will say, “Not if you love Me that much. What could be so difficult? My grace is sufficient to cause My people to fulfill all righteousness.”

May every vain imagination that we have entertained, that has blocked us from seeing the glory of Yahveh, be torn down and destroyed in the name of Yahshua (Jesus). He says, “I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people …” (Isaiah 65:2). Day and night He stretches out His loving hands, He draws us in with lovingkindness, but He says, “They still will not have Me.” (see John 5:40)

Meanwhile, “the devil masquerades” (2 Corinthians 11:14). He fills this world with doctrines and traditions that cause people to stumble, and to be captives of lies and error. But those who seek Yahveh (the Lord) with all their hearts will find Him; there is no excuse: “He is a rewarder of those who [diligently] seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). He is what we have to want with all of our hearts, minds, souls, and strength — He alone, or else we will be “double minded and have nothing” (James 1:8). He alone is to be our “exceedingly great reward” (Genesis 15:1).

Your love, Your mercy, even in judgment, it will endure forever. There are no words to express what is on the heart of the Almighty at the close of this age. If we only go through the motions, we will be just like the first priests, who were Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu. They did not follow the Holy One’s instructions. They pushed their way into His Presence and died on the spot. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are Yahveh’s (the Lord’s) ways higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9). “Moses then said to Aaron, ‘This is what the Lord spoke of when he said: “Among those who approach me I will be proved holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored”’” (Leviticus 10:3).

Among those who approach the Almighty, He said He would show Himself as Kadosh, meaning holy in Hebrew. Therefore be holy, be Kadosh. May Yahveh sanctify us with the truth of His Word that we might be purified and made Kadosh (Holy) La (to) Yod Hey Vav Hey, (YAHveh)—Holy to Yahveh.
