The War for Souls is Raging!

The War for Souls is Raging!

“The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of Yahveh God lives forever.” “… Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep [obey] it!” “… So as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God”
— 1John 2:4-5,17, 1Luke 11:28, 1 Peter 4:2

Sadly, there is much biblical truth that has been ignored and even deleted from the understanding of a majority of professing believers. The Devil does not want anyone to recognize his insidious strategies. Yahshua [Jesus] made it clear that Satan “deceives the whole world” and he “comes to steal and kill and destroy” (Revelation 12:9, John 10:10). In fact our Savior also called him “the ruler of this world” and “the father of all lies” (John 14:30. John 8:44). Yahshua (Jesus) said, “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4). What He warned Peter is applicable to us as well, “Satan has demanded permission to sift [all of] you like grain” through deception, temptation, and sin to keep us under bondage in his dark domain (Luke 22:31).

Satan is the deceiver of humanity and he is working diligently in and through multitudes, using them as puppets to spread his evil agenda of lies and deception. Anyone who is not led by the Holy Spirit is a prime candidate to fall prey to the Adversary’s demonic strategies and his progression of lies that replace truth. The prophets foretold of the days that we are living in when people will call “evil good, and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). Satan through people, “turns things around [upside down]”, Yahshua [Jesus] is turning things right side up (Isaiah 29:16). The war for souls is raging! We must be filled with the power of the Spirit of truth and walk in obedience to our God and Savior’s eternal words. Our Savior emphatically proclaimed, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.” “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments [obey and do My will].” “For whoever does the will of Yahveh God, he is My brother and sister and mother” (John 4:34, John 14:15, Mark 3:45). The Apostles continually reinforced and amplified the words of Yahshua [Jesus] for our benefit. It is written, “The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected.” “The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.” “… Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep [obey] it!” “… So as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God” ( 1John 2:4-5,17, 1Luke 11:28, 1 Peter 4:2).

There is much falsehood that is being preached, taught, and has been passed down over the centuries. This polluted mixture of truth and error cannot produce righteousness”
— See Jeremiah 16:19 & Colossians 2:8

We are admonished, “do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind [by studying Scripture], so that you may prove what the will of Yahveh God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2). In order to obey Him we must be spiritually diligent, doing as Apostle Paul said, “trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord [and acting upon it]” “… that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God” (Ephesians 5:10, Colossians 4:12). Yahshua [Jesus] said, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word …” (John 14:23). With the knowledge of the truth comes the decision to obey or disobey. Unless we really know the word and also understand Satan’s deceptive schemes, we can easily fall prey to his insidious strategies, which is to mix the truth with the poison of lies. It is written, “… No lie is of the truth” (1 John 2:21). “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). It is imperative that we continually pray to seek, know, and do the will of God. By the power of the Holy Spirit’s leading, may this truly become the longing and compelling desire of our hearts that we can honestly say, “Not my will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42).

It is sad but true that there are many who call Him their Lord, God, and Savior, who do not wholeheartedly seek and do His perfect will and obey uncompromised biblical truth. There is much falsehood that is being preached, taught, and has been passed down over the centuries. This polluted mixture of truth and error cannot produce righteousness. The by-product is an empty form of religion devoid of our Savior’s presence and Holy Spirit. We must understand Satan’s strategies of deception that Yahshua (Jesus) warned could “deceive, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24). Apostle Paul magnifies the importance of this so that “no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not [to be] ignorant of his schemes” (2 Corinthians 2:11).

Yahveh God Almighty says, “My people are destroyed [perish] for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). Our Savior has come to give us the truth, requiring obedience that leads to eternal life. Yahshua [Jesus] “is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). We must recognize the wicked strategies of Satan’s polluted mixture of truth and deception that has sadly caused the downfall of multitudes of professing believers over time. At the close of the age, the poison of this pervasive deception has produced a generation of half hearted, “lukewarm”, self centered, worldly believers (Revelation 3:16). Sorrowfully, many congregations are filled with increasing numbers of professing believers who are unknowledgeable of the truth and easily deceived. Consequently, they walk in disobedience to the truth. Disobedience is rebellion, leading to great apostasy, which inevitably dishonors and defames our holy God and Savior making one the recipient of the forth coming judgments.
