Traveling on the Highway of Holiness

Traveling on the Highway of Holiness

Yahveh alone is to be our exceedingly great reward. What are you panting for? As the deer pants for water brook, so our souls are to pant for God (Psalm 42:1). Many church-goers love a message filled with earthly enticements of name it and claim it, and pray for more and more of the world. Selfish ambition is of the flesh. We are to die to the flesh.

Those who served the Savior, those who were His apostles, the majority were martyred. What kind of worldly success did they have? Yahshua (Jesus) did not promise us worldly success. He said to His disciples, “In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). “Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers [for this world is not your home] to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul” (1 Peter 2:11).

There is only a tiny remnant who have forsaken compromise, hypocrisy, and have turned away from lawlessness to travel on the “highway of holiness” (Isaiah 35:8). Yahshua (Jesus) says, “For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:14). “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter (Matthew 7:21).

Yahshua Messiah came to uphold His Father’s words, Commandments, and precepts, called the Law. It is time for that which has been hidden under the lies of doctrines and human traditions to be revealed as a tare from the Satan, “the father of lies” (John 8:44). Yahveh is the covenant-keeping Elohim (God) who gave His laws and Commandments to be upheld by a redeemed “one new man” (Ephesians 2:15), composed of Jews and Gentiles. They will uphold all that He has spoken as righteousness because He is soon going to judge the world according to His righteous standards.
