I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He [Messiah] shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel
— Genesis 3:15

Satan’s name essentially means, “the accuser of the brethren” and “the opponent of truth”. Yahshua [Jesus] said, “[Satan] was a murderer from the beginning … for he is a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44). When the “ancient serpent” slithered into the Garden of Eden he craftily deceived and tempted Eve, then Adam, by mixing truth with lies, distorting the Creator’s words. Our God and Creator rose up in immediate response proclaiming an ultimate forthcoming defeat of His enemy, He said to Satan, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He [Messiah] shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel” (Genesis 3:15). As a result of Yahveh’s sovereign proclamation, the Devil began his demonically fueled murderous campaign against the coming Messiah and His lineage — the Jewish race. Thus, the origin of anti Semitism and the beginning of the “anti-messiah” [antichrist] spirit on earth, the meaning of anti messiah is: in place of, in opposition to Messiah.

Satan destroyed many of the Jewish people, the lineage of the Messiah, in his obsessive quest to stop the Savior from being born on earth. Obviously, he failed but he did not give up! The battle lines were drawn. Our loving Heavenly Father knew it was time to continue the war against His Enemy and to set many captives free. So He sent His only begotten Son who willingly left the splendor and glory of His kingdom to become the sacrificial Passover Lamb. The Son of God, the Almighty Conqueror came in bodily form as the “Son of Man” to rescue His people from the bondage of Satan’s deception leading to sin and eternal death.

Our Savior’s original Hebrew name YAHshua literally means, YAHveh is salvation or Yahveh saves
— Holy to Yahveh p. 32

In infinite loving mercy Yahveh [the Lord] put on robes of salvation, namely a human body, and came to earth to save His people from bondage to Satan and their sin nature. Before His divine arrival our Heavenly Father made an announcement about the coming King of Israel and Messiah through the angel Gabriel to the Jewish virgin Miriam [Mary] His mother and Joseph His earthly father proclaiming, “you shall call His name Yahshua, for He will save His people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). It is important to note that the angel Gabriel spoke to them in the divinely given Hebrew language of His people, the Jews. Our Savior's original Hebrew name YAHshua literally means, YAHveh is salvation or Yahveh saves. It is written, “I and My Father are one” (John 10:30). The reality that YAHveh is the Father and He came to earth as YAHshua the “Son of God,” the “Son of Man,” the Savior, is easily seen in the sharing of YAHveh’s name with the Son’s name. The remnant has been redeemed to be witnesses that Yahveh is the eternal, holy God and Redeemer through Yahshua the Messiah. HalleluYAH: The universal praise which is the original Hebrew meaning: praise be to YAH [YAHveh YAHshua] the Father and the Son who are eternally One! (Frequently our Savior is referred to as Yeshua which is the Hebrew word for salvation, rather than YAHshua which is the Hebrew for YAHveh is salvation or YAHveh saves)

“For I am Yahveh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; … I, even I, am Yahveh; and there is no Savior besides Me
— Isaiah 43:3,11

The Most High, the great I AM, emphasizes this eternal oneness through the prophet Isaiah: “For I am Yahveh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; … I, even I, am Yahveh; and there is no Savior besides Me. It is I who … saved you and proclaimed you are … My witnesses,” declares Yahveh, “… I am God. Even from eternity I am He; …” (Isaiah 43:3, 11-13). “Thus says Yahveh, the King of Israel and his Redeemer [Yahshua] … ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me” (Isaiah 44:6). Note the striking similarity of Yahveh God’s proclamation through Isaiah to Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) words, recorded by Apostle John: “I am the first and the last” (Revelation 1:17 and 22:13). By these two sovereign proclamations, it is established beyond doubt that YAHveh the Father and YAHshua the Son are ONE.

According to the Holy One of Israel’s infinite mercy and sovereign plan, His Son was born to be crucified as the perfect Passover Lamb
— Revelation 13:8

When the Almighty came to earth in the flesh as the “Son of God,” the Messiah, the raging war was fanned into flames. Satan, the temporary “ruler of this world” (John 12:31), rose up in a demonic rage to perpetuate his dominion over this world and its inhabitants. The anti-messiah [antichrist], who is “the father of lies” (John 8:44), injected his deception into the masses. The stakes were high, Satan the “god of this world” had powerfully reigned for a very long time; he was not about to forfeit his rulership to the Creator and rightful King (2 Corinthians 4:4). The Devil infused lies into the people’s minds to deny the Savior’s deity and to stimulate hate, fear, and jealousy in the political and religious leaders of Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) day. Satan thought his strategies succeeded, when they crucified our Savior on a tree (cross) at Calvary. In reality, according to the Holy One of Israel’s infinite mercy and sovereign plan, His Son was born to be crucified as the perfect Passover Lamb. In Jerusalem, at the same time that multitudes of Jews were sacrificing their “Passover lambs”, Yahshua, our heaven sent Lamb, shed His blood to spare both faith filled Jews and Gentiles from the angel of eternal death (see John 19:14, Exodus 12:5-13).

Satan’s lies have sadly deceived multitudes of humanity, especially Christians, to believe it was the Jews who killed the Jewish Messiah. We read the facts in Scripture, “For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Yahshua [Jesus], … both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel …” (Acts 4:27). Jews, Gentiles, Pilate, Herod, and the Roman government were each partially responsible for Messiah’s death. In truth, however, Yahshua (Jesus) made it clear that these men had no power to kill Him apart from His Father’s perfect will. Indeed, it was the Almighty’s perfect will that His Son willingly give His life as the sacrificial Passover Lamb. In this single glorious act, the Messiah ransomed His believing Jewish brethren and made a way for believing Gentiles to be eternally saved and joined together as “one new man” through faith in the Passover Lamb’s sacrificial blood! (Ephesians 2:15)

The additional glorious victory shout over sin, death, and the grave, was that Yahshua (Jesus) would send His Holy Spirit back to earth to dwell within His blood redeemed elect
— John 14:26

The anti-messiah (antichrist) spirit rejoiced thinking that he had destroyed the Messiah, his prophesied conqueror. The Enemy had no clue that the power of the Most High God would raise Yahshua (Jesus) from the dead. Satan, his demonic agents, and all who unknowingly collaborated in the crucifixion, were horrifyingly shocked after the Savior’s resurrection. The additional glorious victory shout over sin, death, and the grave, was that Yahshua (Jesus) would send His Holy Spirit back to earth to dwell within His blood redeemed elect. Our Savior had said, “… he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.”… “It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him [the Holy Spirit] to you” (John 14:12, John 16:7). As we read in the book of Acts our Savior sends His Holy Spirit not to all who make cheap superficial confessions of faith but only to the remnant who have wholeheartedly counted the cost to obey and follow Him. It is written in the book of Acts, “the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him" (Acts 5:32).

Yahshua (Jesus) said to His Father in Heaven, “… A body You have prepared for Me” (Hebrews 10:5). Each redeemed member of our Savior’s body is under His headship and authority. By the power of His Spirit, the faithful remnant continually seek to know and to lovingly obey their God and Savior for His praise, honor, and glory. It is written, “… So we, who are many, are one body in Messiah, and individually members one of another” (Romans 12:5). “Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on … Yahshua Messiah [Jesus Christ]” our Passover sacrifice. “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior … conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Messiah” our Passover Lamb (1 Peter 1:13-19).

"Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" (Revelation 5:12)

Prayer

I am humbled before You and I confess that I haven’t known You as my Heavenly Father nor have I known Your Son Yahshua (Jesus) as my Savior. Until now, I’ve resisted the call to surrender my life to You. I’ve pridefully chosen my own ways and desired my own paths; but today, I’ve heard Your voice speaking deep into my stubborn heart. I desire eternal life and not eternal death. I desire You, to be my Heavenly Father and for Yahshua (Jesus) to be my Redeemer.

Your Word says if I confess with my mouth that Yahshua is Yahveh and believe in my heart that Yahveh raised Him from the dead, I’ll be saved. I truly believe in my heart that Yahshua (Jesus) is Yahveh God Almighty and that on the third day He was resurrected from the dead. You are the Passover Lamb who died and shed Your blood to redeem me from the eternally deadly wages of sin. Please cleanse me, I humble myself and ask for forgiveness for all the ways that I have sinned against You. Thank You Yahshua (Jesus) that by the power of Your cleansing blood my sins are washed away. Please show me now, and in the days ahead, all my words and deeds and the inclinations of my heart and mind that are grievous and unholy in Your sight.

May I never look back and long for the pleasures of my sinful flesh and its continual desires for the things of this perishing world. Please send Your Holy Spirit to live in my heart to give me overcoming power and amazing grace to “work out my salvation”. You are my Deliverer, You set me free. Thank You for being the Passover Lamb, I am no longer in bondage to my flesh, this world, or Satan. I want to follow You Yahshua (Jesus) on “the narrow path”, leaving the world and its desires behind because You are my exceeding great reward. I am looking heavenward towards You. Help me to daily seek you with all my heart to be transformed from reading Your word that I will grow up by Your Holy Spirit to be a redeemed child of God who bears Your identity and brings you honor and glory through my words and deeds.

I pray that all “old things are gone and all things have become new” because I am a "born again” new creation and that by faith I can say, “I have been crucified with Messiah [Christ]; and it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” May your indwelling Holy Spirit help me to “fight the good fight of faith” - resisting, renouncing, and rejecting by the power of Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) name my old flesh nature that has to be denied. Yahshua you are “the way truth and life,” leading me into Your eternal kingdom of heaven. Thank You my Passover Lamb for redeeming and purchasing me with Your sacrificial blood and writing my name in “the Lamb’s Book of Life”. In Yahshua’s (Jesus’s) holy name.
